Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 (Main Story)

Scene 1: Arrival

> My name is Ron. I'm 25 years old and live in a place called Hero Town. I've spent over a decade here—built a life, made friends, and yes, I'm pretty damn rich now. These days, everyone's busy with their own lives. I mostly spend my time managing businesses and training.

One ordinary day, while strolling through the town, I spotted someone familiar. My eyes widened—it was Wardy.

"Hey! Long time no see! Where've you been? How's Carter doing?" I asked as I approached him.

He stared at me in shock. "Who are you? And... how the heck can you see me?"

"What? Of course I can see you. I've got eyes, don't I? And what do you mean—'who am I'? We've met plenty of times!"

He tilted his head, intrigued. "Normal people can't see me. But you can… Interesting. My name is Yardy."

"Ron," I said, slightly unnerved. "Nice to meet you… again?"

(Why did he say normal people can't see him? What does that even mean?) I wondered.

"Excuse me, Yardy. What exactly did you mean by that? About people not being able to see you?"

He stared at me for a long second, then said, "I'm from the World of Dark Souls. I'm on a mission—to retrieve something for my master, the King of that world."

"World of Dark Souls? A king?" I scoffed. "Are you kidding me right now?"

He smirked. "Want to see it for yourself?"

I hesitated. "What would your king say about that?"

"He'll welcome you," Yardy said confidently.

I've always liked a good adventure. So I nodded. "Alright. I'll go."

Scene 2

> He placed a hand on my shoulder, and in the blink of an eye, the world shifted.

We arrived in a realm of ruin—houses collapsed, smoke rising, the air thick with ash and a strange energy. The sky was stained purple and gray, clouds swirling unnaturally. Thunder—red, blue, green—flashed across the sky. Certain patches of the land radiated a dark purple mist that sent a chill through my soul.

"Now do you believe me?" Yardy asked, smiling.

"So… places like this really exist," I muttered.

"Come. Let me introduce you to the King of this Realm."

We walked through the desolation until we reached a massive iron-fenced graveyard. One gate was swung open, the other sealed shut. Inside, a skeletal figure stood silently. He was armored head to toe, save for his exposed skull, which glowed faintly. A suffocating aura rolled off him like waves.

Yardy dropped to one knee.

"Is that the King?" I whispered.

"No," Yardy replied. "That's the gatekeeper. But he's one of the oldest and most powerful beings our King ever created."

The skeleton turned toward me. His hollow eyes pierced through my soul.

"Who is this?" he asked, voice like a blade. "How did a mortal enter this world?"

The pressure in the air was unbearable. I couldn't breathe. Yardy collapsed beside me. "The King… wishes to meet him," he gasped.

The skeleton paused. "If my master commands it... so be it."

He summoned a blade—its edge pulsing with a dark purple glow. It looked like a regular sword, yet the aura it emitted felt ancient, almost alive.

He held it at my throat. "Enter. But remember—try anything foolish, and you will never leave this place alive. Now go."

The sword vanished.

As we passed through, Yardy said, "Wait here. I'll let you know when I find it."

I glanced at the gatekeeper. He stood motionless, eyes fixed on the distance. (Just how strong is he? His aura alone feels like death...) I thought.

"Ron, let's go. I've found it," Yardy called.

We approached an unmarked grave. As the stone lid slid open, Yardy suddenly shoved me.

I fell—fast. The world above vanished. I was plunging deep into the unknown.
