Dr. Thomas stepped out of the shadows, his expression calm and unreadable.
Yardy turned toward him, still staring at the spot where Ron had vanished. The last traces of Ron's teleportation flickered in the air like fading sparks.
"Sir…" Yardy began, hesitation in his voice. "Is he… the one?"
Dr. Thomas watched the fading light for a moment before replying.
"Yes," he said simply. "He has awoken."
Yardy frowned slightly. "With all due respect, sir… he just looks like a normal guy. And I still don't understand what put him into that slumber in the first place."
Dr. Thomas turned slowly toward the ancient grave behind him — dark, silent, and older than most things in this realm.
"He is the key to everything," Dr. Thomas said quietly.
Then, without another word, he stepped into the open grave and disappeared as if he had never been there.
Hero Town
Ron reappeared in the same place where he had first met Yardy.
Since that encounter, he had been training inside Dr. Thomas's dimension. What had once felt alien and terrifying had gradually become familiar — almost like a second home.
Weeks passed in intense, relentless training. No breaks. No hesitation. Just growth.
Then, one day, Dr. Thomas's voice echoed directly inside Ron's mind.
"Carter is on a mission in another dimension. Go there — and bring me that."
Ron frowned. "That? What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"You'll know when you get there. Now move. They might already be in danger."
Ron crossed his arms. "You shady doctor… how am I supposed to reach another dimension?"
"Use your teleportation. Focus on Carter's spiritual energy — his Ki."
Ron sighed. "Alright… fine."
He closed his eyes and concentrated.
Carter's Ki was faint — distant — but it was there. Like a flickering signal buried deep within another world.
"…Found you," Ron muttered.
Then, in an instant, he vanished.
Dimension of the Giants
The world Ron arrived in was pure chaos.
Massive, towering creatures dominated the battlefield — some humanoid, some beast-like, and many a disturbing fusion of both. Despite their monstrous appearances, they wielded highly advanced technology: towering mechs, glowing plasma cannons, and swarms of mechanical drones filling the sky.
Carter and his squad were completely surrounded.
The area around them had been sealed by a circular Ki-based shield. From above, elemental attacks — lightning, fire, and ice — rained down relentlessly. Whenever anyone tried to approach the barrier's edge, a green, translucent sword materialized from the shield and forced them back.
Inside the barrier, Carter and his team maintained their own defensive Ki field to survive the assault. Meanwhile, Captain Lia and her second squad moved quickly between the wounded, using their abilities to stabilize those who had been injured.
Ron — Third Person POV
Ron teleported directly into the center of the battlefield.
The moment he appeared, every creature froze — then turned toward him.
In the next second, they unleashed a barrage of attacks.
Carter — Third Person POV
Carter stood inside the shield, breathing heavily.
"There's no winning this," he muttered under his breath. "Nobody told us these monsters had tech more advanced than Earth."
Then — he felt it.
A sudden, overwhelming shift in the battlefield's energy.
His eyes widened as he turned toward its source.
Ron.
He stood just outside their shield, completely calm, his presence radiating an intense, unfamiliar power.
Lia blinked in surprise. "Wait… I know him. That's your friend, Carter!"
Carter nodded slowly. "Yeah… but something about him is different."
The creatures fired lightning bolts straight at Ron.
The blasts hit him — and did nothing.
No damage. No reaction. He didn't even flinch.
Carter realized in shock — this was the same kind of energy that had overwhelmed some of their strongest fighters.
Then Ron moved.
He blurred across the battlefield, faster than most could track. With every strike, shockwaves rippled through the air. One by one, the massive creatures fell, unable to react in time.
Suddenly — a massive explosion tore across the battlefield.
The ground cracked. The sky trembled. The barrier surrounding Carter and his team shattered completely.
"Lia!" Carter shouted. "Get the injured to the ship — I'll cover you!"
She nodded, eyes serious. "Fine. But don't die."
Using her telekinesis, she lifted the wounded and began retreating toward their transport.
Carter turned back just in time to see Ron still tearing through the enemy forces, overwhelming them with raw power.
Then — the entire battlefield shook.
A deeper, heavier presence descended.
The King had arrived.
All the creatures immediately dropped to their knees.
The King was humanoid in shape but impossibly massive — like a living titan. His presence alone crushed the air around him with pressure and authority.
He raised his hand, as if preparing to speak.
Then — suddenly — his head fell.
Silence.
Complete, stunned silence.
Everyone froze.
Including Ron.
Carter turned — and saw Lia standing at a distance, trembling, her sword no longer in her hand.
She had done it.
Using her telekinesis, she had launched her sword at incredible speed — faster than the eye could follow — and struck the King.
The moment after, her strength gave out. She collapsed.
Carter rushed forward and caught her before she hit the ground.
Ron walked over slowly, his eyes still glowing with power.
"You two get back to the ship," he said calmly. "I have something else to take care of."
Carter hesitated — then nodded.
He carried Lia and regrouped with the others aboard their ship.
Minutes later, Ron returned.
The ship lifted off, ascending into the sky toward Hero Town.
But as they left the battlefield behind, an uneasy feeling lingered in the air.
Whatever this was…
…it was only the beginning.
