Chapter 7 - "The Untamed Realm"

The moment Carter stepped through the right door, a blinding light swallowed his vision. When it faded, he found himself standing inside a massive, ancient castle—one that looked as though it had been built in an era where kings ruled through sword and sorcery.

A purple, transparent square materialized before him in midair:

SCENARIO 1

ABANDONED CASTLE

OBJECTIVE: Uncover the mystery behind this castle.

REWARD: The Dark Faith

FAILURE: Death.

Carter stared at the message, his expression tense.

"A scenario…? What the hell is this place?"

The castle's halls stretched endlessly in every direction. The building was completely empty—yet scattered along the walls were glowing codes, flickering like remnants of some digital ruin. He approached one and studied it closely.

"Maybe these are hints…"

He stood at the main entrance. Ahead of him were seven massive doors—four to the left, three to the right. Each bore a number and an unusual title.

Right Side:

(46) – Black Heart

(47) – Dream

(48) – Ghost

Left Side:

(49) – Knight

(50) – Axzeroth

(51) – Zelenia

(52) – Demon King

Carter chose not to open any of them yet. Instead, he moved toward the grand staircase ahead of him.

But the second he reached the top step—

He was back at the entrance.

He froze.

"What…? A loop?"

He turned around. The staircase had vanished completely. No matter where he moved, everything led him back to the same starting point.

Realizing brute force wouldn't work, he returned to the glowing hints scattered across the walls.

One by one, he read them:

"A DREAM THAT HAS NO END."

"EVEN NUMBER IS THE KEY TO THE END."

"WHO GIVES A DEADLY SCAR, THAT'S THE DOOR."

"THE DEMON LIKES TO FIND BALANCE IN EVERYTHING."

Carter muttered under his breath.

"'End'… that word keeps showing up."

The clues seemed contradictory, confusing—almost designed to twist logic itself. But as he stood there, one realization settled in his mind.

This place wasn't built to trap bodies.

It was built to trap minds.

His expression hardened.

"I wonder how Ron's doing right now…"

The Maze of Eznoid (Ron)

Thick, suffocating fog filled the endless labyrinth.

Ron moved through the twisting corridors of the Maze of Eznoid, his footsteps echoing faintly against the stone walls. Glowing hints appeared sporadically—some etched into the walls, others hovering in the air like warnings.

One message flickered in front of him:

"YOU THINK THAT'S THE RIGHT WAY? IT'S NOT."

Ron ignored it.

Most of these "hints" were clearly designed to mislead or trap intruders. As he continued forward, strange glyph-like patterns shimmered across the walls.

Curious, he approached one—

A sudden wave of dizziness struck him.

A blue message flashed before his eyes:

[MIND CONTROL: NULLIFIED]

Ron steadied himself, exhaling sharply.

"So it was a trap…"

To avoid getting lost, he began marking arrows along the walls as he advanced. But after nearly an hour of wandering, it became clear—none of the clues were useful. Most were tricks.

Then—

He felt it.

A dark presence behind him.

Ron turned slowly.

Carter stood there, walking toward him calmly.

Ron narrowed his eyes.

"Why are you here?"

Carter spoke evenly.

"Let's go back. This place is dangerous. I barely escaped my scenario. I know the way out."

Something was wrong.

Carter never retreated. Never backed down.

Ron's pupils flashed red for a split second.

Carter froze.

A bead of sweat slid down his face.

Without another word, Ron turned away and continued walking—but kept a sharp eye on him from the corner of his vision.

Is this really Carter… or something else?

Suddenly—

The dark aura around "Carter" surged violently.

Ron spun around just in time to see a punch barreling toward him.

BOOM.

He was launched backward with immense force, crashing through layer after layer of the Maze's walls—kilometers of destruction trailing behind him like a shockwave.

Dust settled.

Ron pushed himself up, staring ahead.

Carter—no, whatever stood before him—was changing.

His voice dropped, becoming deep, distorted, and inhuman.

His eyes turned completely black.

His muscles expanded unnaturally.

A crushing gray aura exploded outward, pressing down like unbearable gravity.

A monstrous laugh echoed through the realm.

"HAHAHAHAHA… YOU AND YOUR FRIEND WILL NEVER LEAVE THIS PLACE ALIVE!"

Ron smirked, rolling his shoulders and cracking his knuckles.

"Let's see who's really walking out of here."

His aura erupted—black and red lightning crackling violently around him like a raging storm. His body didn't transform, but his power flooded the air, shaking the entire Maze.

Walls trembled.

Cracks spread across the labyrinth.

The entity in Carter's form grinned.

"Those walls are forged from a material that could withstand a trillion universal collapses… and you just tore through them. Impressive."

Ron vanished in a blur.

He reappeared in front of the being and slammed his fist into its stomach.

Both of them blasted backward from the impact—but the entity flew much farther.

It staggered—then barely dodged Ron's next attack, the shockwave vaporizing the wall behind it.

Then it began laughing maniacally.

"You really are something else. These realms—this dimension—it exists on a plane beyond time and space. You humans live in a bound reality. This? This is one of the untamed Realms. A place where rules collapse."

Its laughter echoed across the Maze.

"You've earned my respect. Now… I'll show you my true power."

A final message materialized in the air:

[TRUE FORM AWAKENED]

The being's body began to warp and expand.

Its size multiplied, towering over the shattered Maze.

Two massive horns curled from its head.

Its skin turned a deep crimson red.

Its arms split into four, each now gripping a blazing red axe forged from pure fire.

It let out a deafening roar—so powerful the entire realm trembled.

"NOW… THE REAL FIGHT BEGINS!"
