Chapter 1 - The End and the Begining

Tell me, when will this all end? When I reconstruct the Elden Ring? Or after the death of the Elden Beast?

As my mind wandered, I danced a deadly ballet with the beast. I jumped, rolled, and dodged its attacks as I cast countless sorceries and incantations at it. Thought it was majestic in appearance, the power it held was that of a true God. A true Outer God

Since coming to this world, I've long since forgotten who I once was. Countless deaths and resurrections made sure that I lost my sense of who I once was. For a long time now, I only knew myself as Tarnished. Guided by grace, but blinded by madness. Driven by combat for combat. That's all I knew.

As my mind wandered to my origins, or lack thereof, the beast staggered. Driven by the need and desire for this to all end, I delivered one final strike. With it, I slew the Elden Beast. However, as I relaxed, the beast used the last of its remaining life to get even with me.

It opened a dark vortex portal behind me, which began to pull me in. I resisted as much as I could, stabbing my bastard sword into the ground beneath me. However, my strength was failing me as the pull increased to something that I couldn't resist anymore. Soon my sword slipped out from the ground as I was pulled into the portal.

After that, all I knew was darkness, an old friend....

After what felt like eons, I felt my back land softly onto grass. As I opened my eyes, I found trees as far as the eye could see.

.

'A forest?' I thought as I sat up. 'Full of red trees? How odd, but familiar in the same way...' My mind flashed with old grainy images.

.

Little did I realize, I was no longer in the Lands Between.

And Remnant will never be the same.
