Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Endless wars

In the beginning, there was only a void. The Supreme Being found this void He had created to be dull, and so He first created space. Then, He placed seven different Worlds within this space. Each World was different from the others, as were the creatures that lived within them. Thus, the Supreme Being created seven different Worlds and seven different races: Elves, Dwarves, Monsters, Vampires, Demons, Angels, and Humans.

From each World, the Supreme Being chose one from its native race and bestowed upon them a piece of His own might. Those who possessed this power called themselves "Gods" and departed from the physical realm. Almost all races lived in peace and harmony under the rules and leadership of their own Gods. The Gods granted their races a portion of their power so they could flourish, and this power began to be passed down from generation to generation.

However, this era of peace did not last long for one World. Compared to the other races, humans were weaker and different; their God had given them no power. Soon, humans began to war amongst themselves. These endless conflicts rotted Valyria, the World of humans, from the inside out.

To prevent the further destruction of his race, the God of humans descended to Valyria, to the physical realm. The human God, Tyrmillian, quickly ended the wars in Valyria and became its sole sovereign. Humans began to worship this savior God and established various sects to walk his path.

Many believed in Tyrmillian, but a faction of humans denied his existence. The God remained in Valyria for many years, but one day, he suddenly vanished. Even the other Gods could not comprehend what had happened to him.

With Tyrmillian's disappearance, those who did not believe in him united and began to mercilessly slaughter his followers. Valyria was split in two: those who followed the path of their God, and those who denied his existence. The war was brutal, devastating, and long.

The other Gods realized that Valyria no longer had a God and that this World could not be governed in peace. Instead of descending to the physical realm themselves, they each chose an heir from their own race. These heirs could wield a large portion of the Gods' powers. Each of them raised armies from their own race.

So that these armies and heirs could pass freely between the worlds, the Gods built Ancient Gates in the seven Worlds. Ancient Guardians were placed at the head of these gates.

When the Gods' armies and heirs reached Valyria, the humans, who already lacked any special power, could not stand against these mighty forces. In a short time, both sides suffered a crushing defeat. When the war ended, the Gods came to a common decision: Valyria would no longer be a human world, but a World where all races could live together.

However, humans were the weakest of the seven races and were seen as beings who constantly initiated wars. Therefore, they were placed in the lowest class. Many became slaves and were scorned by the other races. In their own world, they were forced to live with fewer rights than even animals. Their God had vanished, and they had no special powers like the other races. They had no choice but to submit in despair.

The Supreme Being laughed at what had transpired. For His own amusement, He personally gave a portion of His own power to some of the humans. Some humans, not understanding what was happening, were filled to overflowing with this power. Neither the heirs nor the Gods had any knowledge of the source or limits of this power.

The empowered humans came together and declared war against the other races, and even against the heirs. The war was long and arduous. Although the human population was small, this new power largely compensated for their disadvantage in numbers. As time went on, the war dragged on, and neither side could gain an advantage over the other. However, this situation was advantageous for some humans, because the longer the war lasted, the stronger they became. Humans began to pass their powers on to their children and slowly increase their population.

Some humans who had been on the front lines since the beginning of the war were far superior even to other empowered humans. Some had now reached the level of the Gods. Humans began to call these special individuals among them the "Elders." The Elders became the natural leaders of the human race. They were so powerful that people began to see them as Gods. And so, the course of this long-standing war changed completely.

Although the other races were superior in number and strength, control of the war passed to the humans thanks to the Elders. Even the heirs, despite their immense power, could not stand against the Elders. The Gods, unwilling to descend to the physical realm themselves, grew somewhat anxious. The heirs and their armies had begun to slowly lose the war. The heirs began to retreat, abandoning their armies. They remained in the world, however, because the Gods had commanded them to stay in Valyria. The humans won the war with a crushing victory.

While some of the Elders pursued the fleeing heirs, others had already begun preparations to celebrate. The humans captured the comrades left behind by the other races and seized the cities that had once been entirely their own.

The heirs were trying to hide with what was left of their helpless armies. They all had the same thought: they could not defeat the Elders. Some were gripped by fear, others by anger, and still others by a sense of despair.

Just then, a woman with long white hair and white eyes entered the place where the heirs had gathered. She wore a navy blue dress. Golden threads of light floated in the air around her. The woman walked toward the heirs with a gentle smile. Slowly...

Euclid, the heir of the Vampire God, stood up despite his injuries and pointed his sword at the woman:

— "Don't come any closer. If you do, I'll cut off your head," said Euclid.

Syrim, the heir of the Elf God, took up his bow. His hands were shaking; he could barely hold the bow steady. He looked at Valerith in fear:

— "Valerith? You... what are you doing here? How did you find us?" said Syrim.

The other heirs also rose slowly to their feet. Some reached for their weapons, while others were too terrified to do anything.

— "Don't worry, I haven't come here to kill you," said Valerith. She had a soft smile on her face.

Some of the heirs looked at her with anger and hatred, while others watched with fear-filled eyes.

— "If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't even need to use my power," Valerith said. A mocking smile formed on her face as she released a fraction of her aura.

Under the weight of her aura, the other heirs found it difficult to breathe. Some fell to their knees, while others tried to resist. But the same feeling appeared in the eyes of all the heirs: fear.

— "Now, I will speak, and you will listen to me, Heirs," said Valerith. She sat down on a piece of rock and crossed her legs.

— "Then... let our conversation begin," said Valerith. She wore a smile that was gentle, yet terrifying.
