A bustling city filled with tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of people
Buildings and skyscrapers were piercing into the clouds like spears
There was a thunderstorm, striking the peaks of skyscrapers every now and then, dealing little to no damage, and yet the noises easily shattered the eardrums
Thousands of cars were in the city's streets, causing traffic everywhere, it was the time when most got out of work after all
There, a woman in a car, driving their child to a indoors birthday party 12 minutes away.
The woman occasionally peeked up at the car's blind spot mirror, seeing that her daughter was fast asleep.
At that moment lightning struck right infront of them, causing the woman to slightly panic and swerve to the side, almost crashing into another car but slowing down enough that both cars were mere inches away from eachother,
at that moment a giant sharp claw pierced out of the ground, piercing right through the middle of their car.
"What…??!!!" She panicked, after all she had just bought this car 2 months ago. The woman looked back in panic to see her daughter was fine, but the giant claw started to move.
The car started to rise up in the air, hanging onto the claw until they stopped about 30 meters up in the air, but by then the mother and daughter had managed to get out of the car. They fell on the concrete sidewalk, with a few scratches, the woman's leg cramped and almost broke from the 4 meter fall.
A giant black head started to rise up infront of them, and then, hundreds of spots around the head opened to reveal pure red marbles- it's eyes.
It started to climb out, as it's 8 massive claws pierced through the ground, helping it out of the ground, it's claws dragging against the streets like moving pillars stuck through the ground, as it crashed through cars, turning people into broken shells.
People started to run before hundreds of other sinkholes appeared all around the city, each one popping out massive spiders which spewed out webs which could melt through whole buildings easily, and just as easily slice through dozens of walls of steel like paper.
They trapped and pierced through people, eating them alive or dead, it didnt matter to them.
As carnage erupted everywhere, the woman and the child were hiding behind a piece of a building which had fallen out, holding their breath's.
The child was trying not to cry in fear, and the mother tried not to pass out, holding on to hope that there was still salvation for them,
"Shh.. honey.. it's going to be okay.."
"W-will spiderman come save us..?"
"Y-yeah.. he will" but as soon as they thought so, the building infront of them collapsed right on top of them, crushing their bodies into meat paste instantly.
The city was slowly getting destroyed, and the military made their way towards the city only to see whole skyscrapers crumbling to the floor, and buildings getting torn to pieces instantly.
The soldiers held fear in their heart, making their way to the city at full speed, but instantly another sinkhole appeared infront of them.
The driver swerved, trying to dodge the sinkhole, which they did, but in exchange the whole armored car was flipped, as they rolled down the hill before hitting multiple trees, stopping their descent.
A few soldiers were crushed by the car as they were on the cargo carrier. The driver slowly got out of the car, but as soon as they did, they marked their death because a spider was right infront of them.
They were never a match to begin with, as the driver was ripped apart, more and more sinkholes appeared, until the spiders measured in the tens of thousands, and the city was fully destroyed.
Meanwhile, about 30 kilometers west of the city, in a bar named "SFD" or "Sex, Fun, Drinks", sat the main character, and just like most, he was incredibly handsome.
Black long hair waved down his shoulders, his pale white skin shined like perfection, a chiseled jaw gifted from the gods, sharp crimson red eyes looking like they would kill without mercy, thick eyebrows, perfect pink lips, a perfect muscularly toned body, making him look like he was 17 instead of 35.
These were the features of what women would sometimes imagine as incredibly beautiful, sexy, and hot in a manly way, and yet, he was sad.
Why?
Because his girlfriend broke up with him because "she found someone better"
"Damn it… why the fuck did i ever believe she wanted me for my looks and not.. my personality?.." he sobbed, as he drank down another bottle of cold beer. The bar was loud, people walking everywhere as they danced or drank themselves to unconsciousness.
The television at the top corner of the wall changed chanels, showing the news; Asdrif City Destroyed?.. "Giant monsters that seem to look like spiders almost flattened the whole city"
"It's terrifying to think, but has the apocalypse really came?"
More channels also showed that even more cities were getting flattened around the world by monsters that looked like snakes, wolves, spiders, even humanoid giant beings with green skin and.. massive terrifying-looking dragons
"RedFront City has been destroyed"
"Minzu City flattened to the ground"
"Winged monsters turning Lixo City to Ash"
"What the fuck is going on?" Thought our Mc, or, Axel, before reminding himself that his daughter's birthday was today, and yet his ex didn't let him come, which was in Asdrif city.
Instantly, Axel instantly got up before rushing out of the bar, getting onto his motorcyle; a Ducati Panigale V4 R.
He drove off, but deep down, he knew it was too late, he didnt care much if his ex died, it was pretty obvious he hated her now, but his daughter was also with her.
23 minutes later..
He finally arrived 590 meters away from the city, on top of a hill only to see everything destroyed, and there were even a few explosions here and there. Hundreds of giant spiders roamed the city ranging from 20 to 50 meters in height, but it seemed like most of the spiders had went away, roaming the earth for more prey.
He finally reached the city, he checked a locator app which he had conveniently but secretly put on his daughter's phone just in case of a emergency, but not an emergency of this extent.
He drove through the streets, and just a minute after, a few giant spiders blew through the remains of buildings behind him, before rushing at him.
They were faster than the bike which was going at almost 70 miles a hour, which made him terrified; "There's no fucking way… how are they so fast?!?" He sped up, but he didn't want to speed up too much for if he crashed because he was still only a human.
Soon, there was a whole wave of giant spiders chasing after him, as they crawled on eachother and leaped towards him, crashing into the ground like meteors and creating explosions which sunk the ground below them.
Axel barely dodged each one, until one of the spiders managed to touch the bike and him, causing a deep cut on his back and slicing the back of his bike in half, he hesitated before getting near a alleyway and jumping off.
He started to run, as the walls containing him collapsed behind him as spiders went over him, chasing the motorcycle. He finally slid behind a half-broken wall, taking a rest;
"Damn it… this was a dumb decision.. a really dumb decision.."
He gasped, as he took off his shirt, it was only rubbing against the injury, making it hurt more. His endurance was pretty high, so he could take this type of injury without much trouble, after all he did go to the military for almost 10 years.
He checked his daughter's location again, he was about 200ft away. He started making his way, making sure not to make any noise or get spotted at all, knowing those spiders could each obliterate him without a sweat, if spiders could even sweat.
15 minutes passed,
Axel arrived at what seemed like a crumbled building, and at the corner, a phone was sticking out along with a hand which was completely severed off the body "no way.. my daughter…!"
He rushed over, grabbed the phone to make sure it was theirs, and it was, infact, the phone he was tracking.
He checked over and over again, only for the same results to show every time. Axel trembled in rage and sadness
"F-fuck… you fucking spiders…!"
He screamed out in rage, as he sobbed on the ground, holding onto his daughter's hand.
One of the spiders were already above him, inspecting him, but axel didn't care, he only kept sobbing.
He raised this girl for 7 years, and gave it his all to be a good parent, and yet this was how it ended.
The spider's head hovered over him, before axel finally decided to try and survive; he rolled over as one of the spider's legs pierced into the ground next to him.
He trembled in rage as he stared at the spider, knowing he couldn't do anything, so he ran.
He ran as far as he could, and yet the distance was so miniscule that it wouldn't even be counted as a yard.
his chest was pierced through by the spider's leg, before he started to rise up only to get slammed into a wall of a destroyed building.
Axel felt like he was being skinned alive, while also getting pierced by bullets made of rocks, He instantly passed out.
Finally, the spider took its leg out of the building, as it was about to eat axel whole, the sky lit up, as the clouds filled with anger exploded into light and seperated, revealing the sun.
The sun shone down onto the city, before a humanoid made out of pure light appeared, shining brighter than the sun, and another one made out of pure darkness appeared right beside the one made of light.
"I see the apocalypse has arrived" said the one made out of light
"That's good, after all, the god's have been quite bored lately, so this universe should put on a show for them" said the one made out of darkness.
Both of their elements clashed against eachother,
instantly splitting the city in half as a giant canyon measuring hundreds of miles in length, 3 miles in depth and 15 miles in width was created, engulfing dozens of city blocks.
Buildings toppled and fell into the canyon like unstable jenga towers, falling into the depths of a void.
"I feel quite a few amount of lifeforms in the city" said the one in darkness.
"Oh really? I feel quite bad, after all we were ordered to not interfere with this world personally" said the one in light
"But.. his Holy Majesty did give me a fragment of his soul, ordering me to choose a random lifeform on this world, but i wonder why he would do that?" Said the one in light
"I too wonder, why would a being of absolute command wish to hand over unimaginable power to a lowly lifeform such as these.." said the one in darkness.
They released the fragment which looked like a black vortex shrinked to the size of a pinkie finger.
And coincidentally, it rushed towards the direction of Axel, before entering his body.
Instantly, Axel's soul was desintegrated, and instead, the fragment took over, absorbing the particles of Axel's soul.
Above in the air
The being's saw a flying machine fly towards them, before dropping a giant metal object, or, a nuclear bomb.
They planned to wipe out the whole city, no matter the costs, after all, the government of korea deducted that everyone was already dead
But before the bomb could descend further than 10 inches, the being of light flicked his finger, and both the bomb and jet exploded.
The wave of nuclear energy reached the beings, but before it could touch them, time stopped, and all the energy was focused into a ball, which the being of darkness carried in his hand and played with.
"This world.. seems pretty boring though. Let's go, we've already done our work"
Said the one in darkness.
The one in light disagreed, but either way they didn't have time to argue, as Their Holy Majesty had given them many more tasks.

Axel's body exploded into light, as the spider instantly desintegrated, being consumed by light, and in a thousand mile radius, everything was consumed by light, before collapsing and exploding, including the landscape.
It was a show of pure destruction, as whole mountain ranges were instantly flattened, and many people were turned into shadows on the ground.
