Synopsis
Synopsis Uchiha Kenzo transmigrates one year before the night of the Uchiha Clan massacre, armed with knowledge of the future and a mysterious system that grants him strength whenever he kills. What will he do? Of course, he will kill — not out of hatred or petty revenge. No, far from it. Because the greatest sin in this world is not greed, lust, sloth, pride, wrath, envy, or gluttony. It is weakness. Weakness is the greatest sin anyone can possess in this universe. The strong prey on the weak. The wise deceive the foolish. This is the law of heaven and earth — and also the true beauty of reality. ⸻ Author’s Note I have a few things to say before this novel begins. First, this is my first time writing, so please expect some minor mistakes, as English is not my first language. Second, this is an original story, not a translation. ⸻ What to Expect (and What Not to Expect) This story will not contain any form of romance or mercy. I plan to focus heavily on killing, so yes, it will include gore and various forms of violence. Many original characters may die, so please bear with me. If you notice any mistakes, feel free to point them out in the comments — I will do my best to correct them. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the story.

Chapter 1 - Chapter-1 “Blessed by Slaughter”

Chapter 1 – Blessed by Slaughter

Konoha, in the Uchiha clan compound

One year before the Uchiha clan massacre, a young boy who looked to be around 16 years old, with black hair and pitch-black eyes, was calmly and somewhat amusingly looking up at the night sky, where a full moon displayed its bright radiance to the fullest extent.

This boy's name was Uchiha Kenzo, a 16-year-old who died accidentally while training with an advanced kunai technique. His death was ultimately caused by his own arrogance and pride. Now inhabiting his body was a soul from another world, "Earth," which had just transmigrated to this world.

Well! Well! Well! Who would have thought that I, Zhang Wei, would transmigrate here after dying in my previous life?

Zhang Wei—or now Uchiha Kenzo—thought with a slight smirk on his face. After all, who wouldn't be happy to transmigrate after dying, especially into a world where eternal life is possible?

In his previous life, Kenzo had died due to old age and chronic injuries. But in this life, armed with his experiences and memories, he would carve out a path for himself and himself alone. After all, in this unforgiving and utterly pragmatic universe, where all lives can be defined as prey and predator, he was one of the lucky few who had survived death itself.

Now, all he had to do was survive the Uchiha massacre night and gain some benefits if possible.

First of all, Uchiha Kenzo calmly spoke within his mind and said a simple word: "System."

Ding!!

In that instant, a blood-red system panel materialized in front of him, displaying his profile:

Name: Uchiha Kenzo

Age: 16

Uchiha clan bloodline: High grade

Kekkei Genkai: Three Tomoe Sharingan

Ninjutsu: 3 basic techniques, Body Flicker Technique, Fire Release mastery…

Genjutsu: Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique, Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique…

Current understanding of the Path of Killing: Beginner

Overall evaluation: Elite Jonin

Uchiha Kenzo pondered deeply as he looked expressionlessly at the system panel in front of him. Though his strength was quite decent, if he wanted to escape, it would still be very difficult for him to gain any benefits during the upcoming Uchiha massacre with his current strength. This wasn't baseless speculation; it was based on the experience of his new body.

His face remained completely expressionless as his gaze unconsciously drifted toward the blood-red words "System Functions" below his profile. The words read:

System Functions:

Upon killing a living individual, the host can gain their memories, talents, abilities, soul, etc.

Note: The corresponding rewards will depend on the host's understanding of the Path of Killing.

In Uchiha Kenzo's deep, dark eyes, there was not even a ripple at the mention of killing. In his previous life, he had witnessed many deaths and gone through countless ups and downs. He had been sad. He had been happy. He had shed tears. What else hadn't he experienced?

Killing—ever since he arrived here, he already knew he would kill. Even this body's soul, which he had devoured, had killed before. So why would he hesitate? He wasn't someone with a high moral standard, nor was he a villain. He was simply himself—a person who would do anything to achieve his goals. Nothing more. Nothing less.

After absorbing all the information, Uchiha Kenzo quietly began reorganizing the discarded kunai on the ground. Bloodstains remained due to the previous owner's injury, and he carefully removed all traces of blood from the ground and his clothes. Fortunately, his previous body had spare clothes and other necessities stored in a sealing scroll. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to explain the bloodstains or the scent of blood on him.

After removing all traces of himself from the training ground, Uchiha Kenzo left. He was certain no one had watched him—unless a secret technique had been used.

As he walked toward the Uchiha clan residence, he felt as though someone was watching him. However, despite this sensation, he did not make the slightest movement. In his previous life, he had stood above thousands of people; he could easily recognize the feeling of being observed. The reason he did not stop was simple—he was still in a disoriented state after possessing this body. Although he had obtained the previous owner's memories, they were still disorganized and messy. He needed a peaceful environment to reorganize them properly.

After finally reaching the residential area of the Uchiha compound, the sensation disappeared. Kenzo remained calm and relaxed, as if he had never noticed it, and leisurely walked toward his home. It was midnight, and the compound was extremely quiet. There were no guards or patrols in sight. Of course, only in sight. Ninjas would not appear publicly without reason. Konoha was as large as a small city from his previous life. How many ninjas could there really be to monitor everything at all times? Reality was very different from an anime. It had far more depth—and far more cruelty.

With no one stopping him, Kenzo effortlessly reached his home, removed his ninja gear, and sat cross-legged. Calmly, he began reorganizing both his memories and the previous owner's.

After an hour passed, Uchiha Kenzo finally opened his eyes. He had successfully reorganized everything. However, a wave of exhaustion soon followed. His body was already tired from training, and his mind had endured intense mental strain for an entire hour.

His body demanded rest.

Though he still had many things to do, he could not ignore it.

Without hesitation, he folded his futon, rested his head on his pillow, and allowed sleep to finally take him.
