First of all, I am very sorry for not updating you guys about the novel and for stopping so suddenly.
There are multiple reasons for it, but I will talk about the main one, and that is me. Recently, I developed a mild skin condition that has made it difficult for me to focus properly. If that were the only issue, I probably could have still managed to write a chapter.
Unfortunately, my house is also currently undergoing construction, which has made things even worse. You all know those constant drilling noises, the "durr durr durr" sounds from construction machines. Yeah, those have been driving me absolutely insane. I literally cannot focus.
Not to mention that it usually takes me around 3 to 5 hours to complete a chapter, depending on its length. No, I am not joking. I usually write it all in one sitting because I do not like dragging things out over multiple days.
Even so, that is not really an excuse for disappearing without leaving even a simple note. I should have at least informed everyone that I would not be able to update. For that, I sincerely apologize.
Now, as for when I will start updating the novel again, honestly, I am not sure right now. Things have been very chaotic lately and I have been feeling exhausted. On top of that, I have also been struggling with a lack of motivation to write. Normally, even when life gets busy, I can force myself to sit down and work on a chapter. Lately, though, every time I open the document, my mind just feels blank and I end up staring at the screen more than actually writing.
Even when I try to relax and read a novel to clear my mind, it has been difficult.
The construction at my house will probably continue for another week or so. Because of that, I most likely will not be updating until things settle down a bit. I will see if I can manage to write a chapter or two before then, but I cannot make any promises.
