Chapter 1 - It's So Tiring For Me!

In this world, cultivation was at its all time high. Spirit buses, gathering arrays, spirit powered trees... it was the future! However, who would've knew that a blessed child was about to descend upon them...

...

In the modest apartment in the outskirts of Yunhai City, lived parents who were especially caring for their child. They were rocking the baby crib with loving smiles etched on their faces.

"Wow, I can't believe it's been only a week... Look at our baby boy Luo! Grown so much! He really got his dad's genes!" Li Hua said with a chuckle.

"I just realised... isn't our Luoluo's birthday?"

"Right! You prepared a gift right?"

"Of course I did!"

Saying that, the middle aged man with a silver monocle brought out a jade sword, and the blade glowed with reminiscent gleam. This gleam, caught Li Hua's eye as she gasped.

"That's... there's no way!"

"Hehe, get enough yet?" Father Jin said with a mischievous smile. He brought it out fully and wielded it confidently with a laugh.

It was the future. Cultivation and science knowledge had combined into one, and that had resulted into this system. In this age, status wasn't just determined by education, but also by realm! Around the world, everyone was cultivating, attempting to reach great heights.

"This, my love, is the Jade Golden Dragon Sword! I have been saving just for this moment!"

"Ah!? You shouldn't have!"

This Jade Golden Sword, which was classified at Nascent Soul, was an artifact namely found in the General Cultivation Antique Sight which was held every two-hundred years. Father Jin had especially gotten there in time, which explained how he got the last one.

Not to mention, it cost half a fortune! If this was other artifacts like "See Through Glasses," or "Extraversion Boots..." all those, wouldn't compare to how much this sword actually costed!

However, Baby Luo, who was relaxing on his back whilst sucking on his pacifier, only gave the sword an annoyed look before turning over.

This sword, was just too damn ugly! It practically hurt his eyes. From the shape to the hilt... Ew!

Moreover, Baby Luo could tell that the sword was actually a fake... with his extraordinary vision given to him from birth, he could very easily tell. The main thing that gave it away was the label which Father Jin forgot to remove...

An artifact doesn't have a damn label asshole!

Seriously, offering a newborn baby a fake sword? The nerve! The fact that he was still muttering on how it could protect the house from evil spirits, and all the other bullshit he was spewing!

This was the age of where cultivation peaked! Where the hell had this shitty sword come from?!

Baby Luo just wanted to get rid of the sword at that point.

And so, Baby Luo raised up a hand and leisurely pinched the tip of the blade in which it shattered into bits almost instantly.

"I don't like it..." He muttered his first words.

...

...

Father Jin and Mother Jin were immediately petrified as they shouted in unison!

"He talked!?"

And that... is how Baby Luo said his first words.

---

Father Jin looked at the remnants of the blade on the ground and gritted his teeth in shame.

"It... It broke... How the hell am I supposed to refund that!"

"So it was a fake huh?" Mother Jin rolled her eyes.

"Yeah it was a fake, but, the material was real! It was jade stone; do you know how hard that material is?! How the hell did he..." He trailed off, still astonished.

Mother Jin sighed and patted his back. "It's alright. The thing that's concerning me is... how did he talk?! He's only a week old!"

"Uh... yeah that is kind of strange..." Father Jin rubbed his head in confusion.

The Jin couple just thought that their son talking was just a one time thing, but then after that day, it was frequent...

Moreover, after that dazzling display of a baby destroying a jade sword, the couple immediately filed a complaint to the Artifact Management, accusing them of selling a fake antique.

There was no way in hell a baby could destroy jade stone material that easily!

It was when the couple witnessed their son walking on the air around his room did they realise...

It's not just a sword they bought...

But they apparently raised a fake son!

Seriously, what was with him?!

As normies who had stayed dormant in the Body Formation Stage, Father Jin himself couldn't even come to a conclusion on how this mage son had came out of his balls, especially out of Mother Jin!

Genetic mutation?

Mother Jin would never cheat on me...

Maybe there were some swappings in the hospital room?

Oh god, let that not be true...

No one knew exactly.

But the Jin Family was especially harmonic during this event, as they thought their son was blessed! The Annoited One!

Actually, this was the first son that had access to spirit energy. This was a miracle in its self! Perhaps he was the protagonist in this sense~

But to Jin Luo, this was nothing more than a nuisance.

Thanks to the strong thinking of the Jin couple, Jin Luo was able to lead a peaceful life from 0 to 7 years old, which was when he was at his weakest.

Otherwise, Jin Luo had no doubt that the government would kidnap him and use his energy for research...

By the time he was still exploring his abilities, the bottomless pit of dimensional spirit energy in his mederians were being accumulated— being circulated throughout his form.

In fact, the moment Jin Luo was born, Father Jin had already been working on his new novel, and ideas flowed into his brain! Why don't I take advantage of the abnormality of my son!

What a brilliant idea indeed!

If it was a rough estimate, Jin Luo could eradicate humanity in a few days if he really focused on it.

To prevent any aura leaks, Jin Luo had been researching online. Forums, blogs... hell, even articles! Based on his findings, he prepared a spirit-sealing talisman and stuck it to his left arm.

In doing this, Jin Luo led a peaceful life throughout his years...

...

Years had passed, Jin Luo was now sixteen!

High school life was coming faster than he had thought. To disguise himself as a normal person, Jin Luo refrained from stepping into the spotlight.

He had chosen a school in the area of Shuyuan district.

No. 72 Phoenix Ridge Cultivation High School—a school that had been run for three-hundred-years. It was relatively popular.

When Jin Luo had gotten to the gate. He realised that this school was more ordinary that he had previously thought.

The gates, the structure... there was even a large statue in the middle representing a cultivator, given that, a spirit gathering array hadn't even been present.

However, he was satisfied with it. This could do.

The school, at least, would help him conceal his real identity.

As he made his way to into the gate in a plain collared white shirt and blue jeans. He saw a large holographic projection imagery of the lists and class names.

Since today was the meet and greet for new students, many people had submitted their application and had come for their interview—Jin Luo was one of them.

Apparently, there were different classes one could be streamed to.

Commoner, Apprentice, Adept, and the best of the best, Prodigy.

Given his style, there was no way he was going to enter such a prodigy class...

Adept seemed as though as a fuck you in the face.

As he was thinking about possible classes he could enter, he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder as a sweet voice sounded behind him.

He froze for a second. Jin Luo took a quick cursory glance and could tell that the girl was relatively good looking.

Perhaps she was a prodigy student?

But, why had she come to me?

This was Jin Luo's thoughts. Yes, he didn't know how to act with a girl hence his quiet demeanor!

"Excuse me, do you happen to know where the Year One, Class Five room is? I'm lost..." She said, as she softly gripped her paper.

Jin Luo was silent.

What would you guys do in his situation!?

"Are you enrolling here aswell?"

Seeing that Jin Luo didn't answer, the unfamiliar maiden kept on asking questions as if they knew eachother. She was strikingly beautiful, with a tight fitting but loose blouse; striped skirt, topped off with black shoes.

At first, Jin Luo thought maybe she could be a model.

But given his circumstances, he just kept quiet as habit.

But when she raised the question of inquired class, Jin Luo suddenly came to a realisation as he found his interview room on the holographic screen.

The same class she previously mentioned, Year One of Class Five, was the same room Jin Luo would be doing his interview.

Jin Luo gestured at her to follow him and walked away, hands tucked in his pockets.
