This is Planet Sadala.

Not Planet Vegeta — no, this is the Saiyans' true homeworld, their first planet, long before Planet Vegeta even existed.

At this time, Planet Plant still exists. The Tuffles haven't even been invaded yet, and the Saiyans haven't taken it over. The Saiyan race is only just beginning to make a name for itself in the universe. Their power is starting to spread, and other races are starting to notice.

They are called… The Warrior Race, the Saiyans!

And all because of one man.

Because of him, the Saiyans of this era rise to glory unlike anything before.

But no one knows the truth—

This man doesn't belong to this time… or even this world!

At the heart of Planet Sadala's capital city, inside a towering golden palace, sits the King's Throne.

This is the Saiyan King's palace—

A place of honor, strength, and absolute power. To step inside is the highest privilege for any Saiyan.

For decades, this place has stood as the symbol of Saiyan pride—

ever since the rise of the King of Battle.

In the throne room, high on the royal seat, sits a man with a fierce look and spiked hair that resembles a flame.

The King of the Saiyans.

The leader who carried their race to greatness.

If someone who knew the Dragon Ball story stood here now, they would be stunned—

because this King looks exactly like Son Goku.

No—more than that.

It is Goku who looks like him.

This man is none other than Bardock!

The father of Kakarot!

But this is no ordinary Bardock…

This Bardock is different.

He carries the soul of a man from another world—

a time traveler who replaced the Bardock of this era.

Decades have passed since then.

Sitting alone in his palace, Bardock mutters to himself:

"Hard to believe… it's been nearly fifty years since I came to this world. Now I stand at the very peak… not just of this planet, but of the whole universe."

When he's alone, Bardock lets himself think back. He remembers his past life, a life where he was just a man named Imo, who died during a mountain climb. His soul somehow crossed into this world, and when he awoke… he was Bardock.

At first, he was thrilled. With his knowledge of Dragon Ball's story, he became stronger than ever. He even unlocked the power of Super Saiyan and crushed Chilled, the space pirate.

But over the years, the excitement faded.

This palace, this empire, this glory—it all feels empty now.

"Even after all this time, I still wish I had a system… If I did, I wouldn't have had to work so hard all these years. With a system, the future would've been clear."

He laughs to himself. He knows the truth.

He never had a system, no cheat codes—

just the body of a Saiyan, a race with limitless potential.

And he used that power well.

For fifty long years, Bardock fought and bled, rising again and again, until he became the King of Saiyans.

But deep down, he still feels it.

The hunger.

The emptiness.

The question of what lies beyond this era.

And as always, the thought returns to him—

"Still… who wouldn't want a system?"

Bardock closed his eyes, remembering the day it all began—

the day he first crossed into this world.

Back then, he had just arrived.

When he realized he had taken Bardock's place, he didn't panic. Instead, he stayed calm. With his sharp mind and natural control, he quickly adapted to Bardock's body and power.

Because of his discipline, he didn't just settle in—he found his own path as a Saiyan.

Bit by bit, his power soared. Before long, he had done the impossible…

he became a Super Saiyan ahead of time!

If not for that, he could never have defeated the space pirate, Chilled.

With overwhelming power, Bardock crushed Chilled and took his ship to explore the universe.

It was thanks to Chilled that he learned of Planet Sadala, the Saiyans' true homeworld, long before Planet Vegeta even existed. That's why Chilled, in the original history, warned his descendants:

"Beware of the Saiyans… the ones who can turn their hair gold!"

From that, Bardock also gained the coordinates to Planet Sadala.

In his second year of traveling, Bardock reached Planet Sadala. By then, he had already mastered the Full Power Super Saiyan state, the peak of the first transformation.

His rapid growth came from endless battles across the stars. Planet after planet fell before him, and his hands were stained with the blood of countless foes. Each fight pushed his strength higher.

But what shocked him most were the Saiyans of this era.

They were nothing more than wild tribesmen. They had no technology, no real society, and no presence in the universe. Brutal, savage, and strong—but nothing more.

Bardock couldn't stand to see them like this. Maybe it was his will as an outsider, or maybe it was destiny—but he made his choice.

He would unite Planet Sadala.

He would become King of the Saiyans!

It took him years.

By the sixth year, Bardock had finally done it—he unified the planet under his rule.

Those years were spent training himself, teaching the Saiyans, and developing Sadala.

The Saiyans learned discipline and control over their strength. They learned technology they had never seen before. They grew from mere barbarians into a real fighting race.

And for the first time, the Saiyans left their world and stepped into the universe.

All for one reason—

to make Saiyans rise as the strongest warriors in existence!

With Bardock's guidance, progress came fast. Within just two years, Planet Sadala exploded into a second-level civilization—capable of interstellar travel, planet development, and exploration.

By the tenth year, the Saiyans had gone from primitives to a modern people.

They had cities, technology, and growing power. Under Bardock's lead, the entire race advanced faster than anyone in the surrounding star systems. Out of thousands of alien races across hundreds of planets, none could match their speed of growth.

But the universe is merciless.

Only the strong survive.

And so the Saiyans entered an endless war for survival!

During these years, Bardock led his people into countless battles—even against the feared Frieza Clan.

This race, claiming dominion over the cosmos, ruled through terror—burning, killing, and enslaving anyone who resisted.

The Saiyans clashed with them again and again—over twenty battles across the stars!

It wasn't until Bardock's 18th year in this world that two of his most loyal warriors broke through…

they too became Super Saiyans!

With three Super Saiyans leading the way, the Frieza Clan's grip was finally broken. The Saiyans crushed their forces and conquered galaxy after galaxy.

Without Bardock, the entire system would've been swallowed long ago by the Frieza Clan. But because of him, a legend was born.

The Legendary Super Saiyan.

By his 20th year, Bardock had redefined Saiyan society.

He laid down strict laws, trained the worthy, and built a culture where strength wasn't just about cruelty. The old ways of blind savagery had no place in his empire.

Now, the Saiyans needed not only strength and ferocity, but discipline and heart.

And they followed him.

To the Saiyans, Bardock wasn't just a king.

He was a living god.

The true legend of their race!

Thirty years after his arrival, the Saiyan race had transformed completely.

Their population boomed. Children were now born with power levels in the tens of thousands—something unthinkable in the original timeline.

Super Saiyans were no longer rare. From the original two, the number grew to eight in just a decade. Two of Bardock's disciples even reached Full Power Super Saiyan, making them terrors across the galaxy.

By this point, the Saiyans stood as one of the most powerful races in the universe.

All because of one man.

Bardock—the King of the Saiyans.
