Sea Circle Calendar, Year 1484.
The once-every-three-years "Nation Extermination Game" began right on schedule.
The Celestial Dragons chose a kingdom that hadn't paid the "Heavenly Tribute" and designated it as their hunting ground—known as "God's Valley."
In this brutal hunt, the more people you killed, the higher your score—and the greater your reward.
This time, the prize was unimaginably tempting: six god-tier Devil Fruits seized from the Rocks Pirates, along with mountains of treasure.
But would the Rocks Pirates—the strongest crew in the seas—just sit back and watch their treasures fall into someone else's hands?
Of course not. Under Captain Rocks himself, his fearsome crew stormed God Valley, determined to take back what belonged to them.
At the same time, the legendary Roger Pirates were drawn into the conflict.
And so was Garp and Sengoku, representing the Navy's absolute peak of power.
All the great powers of the world gathered at God Valley.
To call it "a clash of heroes beyond counting" was no exaggeration.
Yet beneath the clash of these titans, the common people of God Valley were nothing but collateral damage.
The Celestial Dragons slaughtered without mercy. Corpses filled the streets, cries of agony faded away, and the island turned into a living hell. Civilians and slaves alike were wiped out.
In the middle of that carnage, hidden among the piles of corpses, a tiny figure stirred weakly.
A four-year-old boy. His name was Shiro Jabal—golden-haired, round-faced, and seemingly ordinary.
But this boy was no ordinary child. He was a transmigrator.
The body's original owner had already been slain by the Celestial Dragons.
The new soul inside—Shiro—came from a different world altogether: Earth.
Back then, he'd been walking down a street when a fortune-teller suddenly stopped him and muttered cryptically, "You're about to hit the jackpot."
Skeptical but curious, Shiro decided to test his luck by buying a lottery ticket.
But fate had other plans.
Before he even reached the lottery shop, a speeding truck slammed into him.
"You call this hitting the jackpot, you bastard?!"
As darkness closed in, Shiro's last thoughts were nothing but curses at his so-called "fate."
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself reborn in God Valley.
For an ordinary person, this place was certain death.
And worse—he was trapped in the body of a four-year-old child.
"Damn it, the heavens are trying to screw me over!"
Despair nearly swallowed him whole. But then, being a veteran of transmigration stories, he immediately thought of the obvious.
System!
"System bro, system daddy, system grandpa—please come out! If you don't, I'm dead meat!"
He pleaded shamelessly, but no matter how he begged, silence was the only answer.
No system.
For a powerless kid in the middle of the deadliest battlefield on the seas, this was hell mode.
What could he do to survive?
Play dead?
He quickly dismissed the idea.
With monsters like Rocks, Whitebeard, and Garp unleashing power capable of destroying worlds, even their Conqueror's Haki alone was enough to crush him.
After much frantic thinking, Shiro made a desperate gamble: he would steal a Devil Fruit.
Thanks to his knowledge of the "original timeline," he knew exactly which fruit to target—the Paw-Paw Fruit.
If he could find Ivankov and Bartholomew Kuma, there'd be a chance.
At that moment, Ivankov was rallying the last desperate survivors of God Valley, urging them to snatch a Devil Fruit to at least secure a sliver of hope.
With intel-gatherer Ginny guiding them, Ivankov and Kuma managed to track down the Devil Fruits, seizing all the treasure chests and hiding in a remote shack.
But just as Ivankov eagerly opened the Fish-Fish Fruit chest, the door exploded open—
And Big Mom, Charlotte Linlin in.
Her massive arms clamped down on Ivankov's throat, and she snatched away the precious Azure Dragon fruit.
Then her greedy eyes locked onto Kuma's Paw-Paw Fruit.
At that critical moment, Ivankov threw his life on the line. He clung desperately to Big Mom's leg and roared:
"Kuma! Eat the fruit, now!"
Trembling with fear, Kuma tore open the chest and fumbled to swallow the Paw-Paw Fruit.
But just before he could—
Shiro appeared.
"Brother Kuma! Give me the Fruit! You distract them—I'll eat it!"
Naïve and kindhearted, Kuma didn't hesitate. Without a second thought, he thrust the fruit into Shiro's hands and bolted in another direction to draw their pursuers away.
With shaking hands, Shiro shoved the fruit into his mouth.
Instantly, an indescribable taste exploded on his tongue—a revolting mix of rotten socks, spoiled meat, and plastic. His stomach churned, nearly making him vomit.
But for the sake of survival, he forced it down.
A surge of violent energy erupted inside him. On his palms, two round paw pads slowly formed.
"So this… is the power of a Devil Fruit? I feel unstoppable!"
Eyes shining with excitement, Shiro clenched his fists, eager to test his newfound strength.
But then—
An overwhelming pressure loomed behind him.
Turning around, he saw one of the Five Elders: Saturn.
The old man approached with slow, heavy steps. He didn't attack right away, instead sneering down at the boy.
"Little brat. Do you understand? Bloodline rules over all. You were born a slave, and so you'll always be a slave."
But Shiro wasn't the type to grovel. He jabbed a finger at Saturn's face and spat back without fear:
"Listen here, you dumb bastard. Do you know who you're talking to? Celestial Dragons aren't even as good as dogs! Keep running your mouth, and I'll smack you back to your grandma's house!"
Saturn froze, dumbstruck.
Who the hell is this kid? Where did he come from, to dare insult me like this?
Before he could recover, Shiro pressed his paw to his own body and activated his power—vanishing in an instant and reappearing behind Saturn.
Then, with all the strength he could muster, he struck Saturn square in the back.
