Outside the Main Hall

After giving Aimo his orders, Bardock called in the veteran Saiyan leaders one by one and told them his plan.

For the whole Saiyan race, this was a huge deal.

The King of Saiyans leaving Planet Sadala? That was something no one ever expected. It was like dropping a bomb on the people.

Even after all these years, nobody dared to go against Bardock's rule. His power was just too overwhelming. Even a Super Saiyan was nothing compared to him at full strength.

If Bardock was leaving, then something big was about to happen. Something that could shake the very foundations of their world.

Above Planet Sadala

When everything was arranged, Bardock stood alone in the skies. He had seen Celia one last time before setting off.

This was his journey alone. His destination: Planet Namek.

He didn't bring guards. He didn't bring allies. Not even his wife or son could know where he was going.

The only one who knew anything was Rais, Bardock's most trusted man. And Rais would never spill a word, not even under pressure. That's why Bardock valued him so highly—not just a fighter, but a genius in support and strategy.

"It's been ten years… First time I've left the planet for real in that long." Bardock muttered to himself.

He thought back. He had spent fifty years wandering the stars before settling on Sadala. For the last decade, he hardly left at all—except short trips, like visiting his daughter in the Demon Realm, or taking Celia on small vacations.

But this was different. This was serious.

Bardock raised his hand, two fingers pressed against his forehead. His aura calmed, his focus sharp.

Anyone from Earth would've recognized it instantly.

Instant Transmission.

Bardock had mastered the technique on his own, through years of training his control over ki to the absolute limit. He didn't learn it from the Yardrats—he reinvented it by himself.

It wasn't easy. At first, it nearly drained him dry. But once he perfected it, it changed everything.

With Instant Transmission, he could lead Saiyans across light-years without ships. He could strike down enemies before they even saw him coming. It was one of the key reasons the Saiyans had risen so fast under his leadership.

Of course, these days he hardly needed to use it. The Saiyan race was strong enough to defend itself. But now, searching for Namekians, it was the only way.

A spaceship would take months and be too risky. Instant Transmission was faster.

In three days, Bardock had scanned the galaxy, narrowing down the search. He now had a list of one hundred possible planets in the Sisol System. Somewhere in that cluster, the Namekians lived.

"Alright then… Let's start from the edge."

With that, Bardock locked onto the first planet's energy signature. His body vanished in an instant.

Across the Galaxy

Space twisted. In the blink of an eye, Bardock appeared on the surface of a wild planet. He scanned the area, but after only a moment, he shook his head and vanished again.

First target: failure.

The planet was strong in raw life energy, but its civilization was primitive. Tribes and beasts, nothing more. The Namekians weren't here.

He knew from legend that millions of years ago, the Namekians were a mighty race, advanced in both power and technology. Unlike the small, scattered group Goku and the others would one day meet, this ancient Namek was still in its golden age.

That meant he needed to find a world of progress and strength—not one lost in savagery.

Bardock's search continued. One planet after another. By the thirty-fifth, he had seen countless strange worlds.

Worlds ruled by microscopic beings.

Gas planets filled with living clouds.

Barren rock worlds where stone giants walked.

Flame-covered planets crawling with fire elementals.

Each one stranger than the last.

The more Bardock traveled, the more he realized how vast and mysterious the universe was in this era. Before Majin Buu had destroyed most of the Supreme Kais, the cosmos had been overflowing with life. With four Kais and a Grand Supreme Kai creating planets endlessly, the universe was filled with wonders.

And Bardock was determined. Somewhere in this endless expanse… the Namekians were waiting.

Outside the endless stars…

Bardock kept warping across space, checking one living planet after another.

Boring ones? He just skipped them. No point wasting time.

But if a planet seemed even a little interesting, he'd stick around to take a look. After all, it wasn't just about searching for Namek—seeing all these different worlds gave him new insight.

From his point of view now, every strange lifeform, every unknown power, was worth noticing.

After reaching this level of strength, even small discoveries could shape new ideas.

Just like the dozens of planets he'd seen so far. Bardock had found countless bizarre species—each one shocking in its own way. Some even gave him inspiration, like energy-life forms who showed new ways of using pure Ki.

"Planet number fifty-five…"

Bardock sighed. "Looks like I won't be finding Namek today."

It had already been more than ten hours since he left Planet Sadala. Saiyans didn't really need rest, but even he felt the pull of habit—like the body itself remembered night and day.

"The next one better surprise me," Bardock muttered. "But please… don't let it be another primitive rock."

He placed two fingers on his forehead. Instant Transmission!

In an instant, he left behind the sand-covered wasteland and reappeared somewhere new.

A brilliant flash. Space folded.

He arrived above a blue world.

"Huh?!" Bardock's eyes widened. "This… this looks like Earth?!"

Impossible.

It couldn't be.

Even though the original records mentioned the distance from Earth to Namek, this wasn't anywhere close to the Solar System. And no matter how much time had passed, there shouldn't be two suns in one system!

No… it just looks the same.

Bardock shook his head. "Earth couldn't have warriors this strong."

He stretched out his senses. Instantly, thousands of powerful life forces flooded into his mind. Some were weak, like ants. Others burned bright—hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands in battle power. And a few… over a million.

"The strongest one's in the tens of millions," Bardock thought. "That makes this planet stronger than any I've seen so far. If a world like this has such rich elements, then of course life would evolve strong fighters."

That meant this world had a long history—maybe hundreds of thousands of years.

Still, it was strange. Too similar to Earth, yet far stronger than Earth ever should be.

With a thought, Bardock descended. His body blurred like a ghost, vanishing from the sky.

He reappeared above the mountains, only a few hundred meters up. From there, he could see the forests, rivers, and peaks below.

It didn't look exactly like Earth from Dragon Ball's world… but it felt familiar. The trees, the land… it even reminded him of his previous life's Earth.

"This planet's even stranger than I thought…" Bardock closed his eyes, reaching out with his Ki.

Then he felt it.

The planet itself was radiating energy. The very mountains were covered in a thick layer of natural power.

"This isn't man-made… this is the planet's own energy," Bardock realized. It reminded him of the "life energy" or "aura of nature" he'd heard about in myths. Anyone training here could grow stronger just by breathing in the air.

Even he felt refreshed absorbing it—though his power was already beyond measure. Compared to him, this planet was tiny. Like a pebble next to a star.

Then suddenly—

"?!…" Bardock's eyes snapped open. He sensed something.

A unique Ki.

Far away, on a cliff high above the mountains, stood a lone figure.
