Chapter 1 - Transmigrated As a Cat

A black cat lay resting on a roadside wall.

It was a stray cat.

But since yesterday, something had changed.

A soul from Earth named Raj had possessed the six-month-old black cat, granting it human-level intelligence.

Raj had no idea how he'd transmigrated.

He only remembered seeing a bully black cat blocking the road and getting hit by a car that afternoon.

The next morning, he woke up as a cat himself.

Though he retained his memories and human consciousness, he couldn't speak.

Fortunately, he had a "cheat" that could change his feline life: The Bully System.

The shop was filled with goods, but their prices were so exorbitant that Raj didn't dare open it.

Even the cheapest Special Cat Food cost 100 points per serving.

Rumor had it that consuming Special Cat Food could enhance a cat's physical attributes.

With prolonged use, it could even transform a cat into a Ninja Cat.

While this sounded impressive, it paled in comparison to another item, earning its place at the bottom of the list.

The "Transformation Pill," priced at 1,000 points, could she'd a cat's mortal body and grant the ability to cultivate Chakra.

By consuming it, Raj could become a Ninja Cat.

Besides these, there were many other items, such as Sage Teachings and Senzu Beans, but their prices were terrifyingly high.

There was also a lottery feature, costing 100 points per draw, with a bonus draw for every ten consecutive attempts.

Looking at his meager 32 points, Raj deeply understood the meaning of "a long journey ahead."

He was just a penniless cat, unable to afford anything.

With no other choice, to escape his frail feline existence and earn more points, he would have to continue his "villainous" deeds.

Feeling guilty, Raj glanced at the sushi shop owner, who was nervously scanning his surroundings from a distance.

He decided to skip stealing fish from him today and find another target to fleece.

Just then, a young boy wearing goggles came sprinting frantically from afar.

'Obito Uchiha? Perfect, a soft target.'

Raj licked his paw, then leaped suddenly into the middle of the road.

"Meow~!"

A fierce, angry cry.

"Little kitty, don't block my way! I'm going to be late...," Obito pleaded, his heart pounding with anxiety.

Though being late to class had become almost routine for him, who would willingly stand in the corner as punishment if they could avoid it?

Yet, out of kindness, he couldn't bring himself to kick the cat aside.

"Meow!"

The black cat let out another "fierce roar."

Raj imagined himself radiating imposing authority, like a tiger's roar echoing through the mountains.

But he'd forgotten he was only six months old.

At that age, a cat had barely gained the ability to survive independently - still essentially a kitten.

His cries, no matter how forceful, sounded undeniably childish.

Thus, Obito felt no anger.

He was merely anxious and tried to sidestep the cat, but the agile creature kept blocking his path.

"Please let me pass! I'm going to be late and I don't want to stand in the corner!"

Obito was desperate.

Yet, even in this situation, he didn't resort to kicking Raj or anything violent.

Instead, he pleaded with a small cat.

Truly, he lived up to his reputation as the kindhearted Obito.

It was a pity that Madara would later manipulate him so ruthlessly...

Raj sighed inwardly, feeling a pang of regret.

Just then, the school bell rang, signaling the start of class.

Obito was already late.

Simultaneously, the System panel displayed:

Prank: "Roadblock Cat" completed. You have earned 150 Points.

Prank: "Roadblock Cat" completed. You have earned 150 Points.

'Sorry, Obito. For 150 Points, I had to inconvenience you!'

Feeling guilty, Raj silently moved aside, no longer blocking Obito's path.

But then a thought struck him.

'I'm still a stray cat. Wouldn't it be great to find a meal ticket and a place to live? Obito was so kind and good-tempered - the perfect candidate for both a Points-farming tool and the ideal Cat Slave. Hmm, worth considering.'

While Raj pondered, Obito rushed past, overjoyed.

After taking a few steps, he turned back.

"Little kitty, thank you! I'll treat you to fish snacks after school."

'You foolish human, you're already late.'

As a cat, his hearing was far superior to humans'.

He had heard the bell ring, yet Obito remained oblivious to his tardiness.

Seeing Obito about to run off, Raj quickly darted after him.

'Don't run away, Cat Slave!'

Cats are fast, but Raj was only six months old, so his speed was inevitably limited.

Fortunately, Obito wasn't exactly a prodigy either.

'Ugh, I can barely keep up.'

The gates of the Ninja Academy were about to close.

Obito squeezed through just in time and sprinted toward the classroom, while Raj leisurely leaped onto the wall, gracefully tracking Obito's movements.

'Lightness and agility - probably the only perks of being reincarnated as a cat.'

Moments later, Obito arrived outside the classroom.

He saw the students sitting rigidly at their desks, listening attentively to the lecture, and immediately realized he was about to face the miserable fate of "standing guard" again.

Still, Obito tried to explain himself:

"I'm sorry, I... I was blocked by a black cat, that's why I'm late."

A black cat blocked his way?

The classroom erupted in laughter.

Takuma Shiranui, the teacher at the podium, fell silent.

How big could a black cat possibly be to block the path of a grown person like you...?

He didn't know how to respond.

This was the most bizarre and outrageous lie Obito had ever told since starting school.

"I-I'm not lying!"

The next moment, a cat appeared, leaping from the windowsill onto his shoulder.

Raj glanced at the room full of students, licked his paw, and let out a "fierce" meow.

Raj had actually wanted to roar, but his throat could only produce this soft, gentle sound.

"Teacher, look! It's that cat!" Obito exclaimed, overjoyed as if he'd caught the culprit.

But no one believed him.

Or rather, the hecklers thought this made Obito look even more foolish, so...

"Hahahaha, I'm dying of laughter!"

"Obito's such an idiot! That cat can't even be a year old, right?"

"No wonder he's the dead last. If he can't even get past a kitten, how can he call himself a ninja? He's a disgrace to the Uchiha clan."

The room erupted in laughter, with the most venomous jeers coming from Obito's fellow Uchiha clansmen.

A half-year-old kitten had actually stopped an Uchiha clan member in his tracks?

If word got out, the entire Uchiha clan would become a laughingstock.

Having exhausted his explanations, Obito stood speechless, unsure what to say next.

Takuma sighed, his emotions conflicted.

So it really was a black cat blocking his path...

"Alright, everyone, stop laughing. Obito's just a bit too kind-hearted... Go back to your seat and pay attention. Put the cat outside for now."

"Yes, thank you, Teacher."

Obito's spirits immediately lifted.

He had thought he would have to stand for the entire lesson, but the fact that he could sit down was enough to make him happy.

It was the first time he had been late without being punished.

Raj was equally satisfied.

Although his prank had failed, his earlier "roadblocking cat" incident had still earned him over seventy Points, bringing his total to over two hundred and fifty.
