Chapter 1 - Chapter 3: The Birth of the Firmament

Among all primordial "existence," when the concept of "Heaven" appeared, what followed was the formless and intangible yet omnipresent space and air, which sundered the chaos and extended the world's very concept of existence.

In that very instant of creation, the initial concept of the "gaseous state" was born—ethereal yet real.

The concept of space appeared!

The real material world appeared!

The concepts of cosmos and world appeared!

After the concepts of spirituality and self were kindled like nascent sparks within the endless chaos, the four primordial deities of the law-concepts each gave birth to their own self-awareness.

Apart from Tartarus, who represents absolute nothingness—He needed no guidance from spirituality or consciousness.

The root of His existence was only the primordial instinct to oppose "existence," eternally entwining with and devouring "existence."

However, Gaia, the lord of real matter; and Erebus and Nyx, the rulers of darkness and night—at the instant they were touched by the light of spirituality, each awakened to complete self-awareness.

And Uranus, lord of the heavenly firmament—at the very moment of His birth, with an indisputable and supreme bearing, became the absolute controller within the world of "existence," and was indisputably crowned the absolute sovereign of "existence."

He did not appear ex nihilo from the void; rather, He was born from the earliest real matter—by real matter's swallowing of the love and desire that permeated the cosmos, He condensed and came into being.

Thus, though He could not transcend beyond the category of "existence," in the very moment of His advent He was exalted above all "existence," both formed and formless.

For it was precisely with Him that the cosmos truly "had" "existence."

The firmament was destined to look down upon all beings and all things!

He was destined to stand above all that is formed and formless, destined to be the absolute controller within the world of "existence."

For He is the lord of spirituality!

He is the master of consciousness!

He is the embodiment of all selves!

At this moment, those primordial gods who had only just gained self-awareness had not yet perceived what a terrifying authority this signified.

Still less could they comprehend what unimaginable, vast might this great god of the firmament, this lord of spirituality, wisdom, and consciousness, truly possessed.

Within the boundless realm of Chaos, once Uranus—the supremely exalted being—descended, the pace of the cosmos's evolution surged forward in a great leap, with every instant containing changes beyond mortal comprehension.

The birth of consciousness meant the establishment of order.

This meant that the evolution of the cosmos would become more exquisite and orderly than ever before.

Every collision of laws would no longer be blind happenstance, but precise remolding.

The three primordial gods rejoiced in having consciousness; for the first time they perceived the existence of "self," and the independence of "others."

This entirely new change prompted them, with subjective initiative, to seek contact with other existences.

Each proactive contact they made set off a cosmic big-bang, triggering incomparably violent upheavals in the universe.

In their contact, the formless, intangible laws clashed and surged, and began to evolve the cosmos at an unprecedented speed, continually perfecting this world that had only just been born.

Within the profound embryonic membrane of chaos, matter began to evolve astonishingly quickly into more complex structures, while dark matter, in its mysterious fashion, evolved into more profound forms.

All manner of new existences appeared amid this rapid evolution.

Then, within that eternal curtain of darkness and night, a light of unprecedented brilliance was the first to tear open the womb of the cosmic night, announcing its own birth!

Within the deep cosmic structure interwoven by dark matter and dark energy, corresponding to matter and antimatter, there was conceived—Aether! \[Ancient Greek: Αθρ; English: Aether. Transliterated as Yitai (English: Luminiferous aether) or rendered as Light Ether]

It is the essence of the boundless "outer space," the primordial breath that fills the cosmos, the pure element formed by the perfect union of dark matter and dark energy.

In the known universe, Aether is everywhere, suffusing every corner; it is the invisible medium in which dark matter and dark energy manifest within the material world, the absolute medium by which light propagates through the material world, bearing all transmission of light and elements.

It has no measurable mass within the material world, yet in a mysterious and inconceivable way, it pervades all things.

It is at once absolutely still and absolutely active, containing infinite kinetic potential and transformation.

At the very moment Aether appeared, its twin concept, "day," was born together with it; thus Hemera (μερη/ Hemera), the pure goddess of daylight, clearly descended into the world.

At this point, the binary cosmos evolved a series of binary laws that are mutually dependent, mutually nourishing, and mutually fulfilling.

Matter, gestating on its own within Taiji-chaos, differentiated in essence into Heaven and Earth, yin and yang.

The eternal darkness and night, within the new order, evolved into air and light, day and brightness.

Together they constituted the indispensable foundational laws of the already existing world, supporting the manifestation of all things.

Meanwhile, the pure particles of matter—Heaven and Earth—still pressed together in a primitive, intimate posture (merged), not yet separated.

Gaia, who had awakened to a powerful self-awareness—the great Mother of All—felt the power of darkness and night begin to attempt to suppress and control the material world.

Sensing the threat instinctively, and relying on her absolute mastery of matter, she too instinctively accelerated the evolution of material existence to counter that formless oppression.

Thus the originally diffuse, wandering particles of matter, under her will, as if drawn by an invisible hand, began to coalesce slowly yet steadfastly.

A more concrete form of the world's matter—water, that most pure and pristine element, the moistness that is the source of life—appeared for the first time.

After the gaseous state, the concepts of the liquid state and of water emerged; the world began to "flow."

Thereupon, endless waters gathered together, and solid earth and mountain ranges were born.

Thus the concepts of the solid state and of earth also announced their arrival.

With the appearance of the gaseous, liquid, and solid states—and of the aether element—the entire world began to take on its initial shape, like a colossal embryo just molded into form.

The basic existences of the world had by now become relatively stable, possessing the foundation to resist external erosion.

Amid order being established at an astonishing pace, the newborn existences and concepts finally succeeded in escaping the disorderly and ravenous pursuit and devouring of Tartarus.

At this very moment, although the world still faced a hazy threat from the abyss of Tartarus, it was no longer in a state of peril in which it might be destroyed at any time.
