Chapter 1 - Factory reset

From the country of Bulgaria - Svetislav was a fairly fit guy, got his life together just now, 18 years old, full with ambition of revolutionary industrialization, cause the industrial revolution was too underwhelming.

He was a brown haired man with variegated eyes, and the very slight hint of facial hair.

He won a random prize from one of the more popular metallurgy factories, a one 1 in a 1000000 chance of gaining access to come and see the factory with his own two eyes. He wasn't really that excited, but purpose driven search for knowledge made him lean more towards taking up the offer, otherwise he would have sold the ticket for as much as he could get.

A special car came to pick him up, the people inside that were going to walk him around the factory unimportant.

After a long drive throughout, plains, mountains and forests the car reached the outer gate of the factory, which was, of course, guarded by a person, who opened the door once he recognized the car.

They drove in, parked and from there the long walk and explanation began... Quite underwhelming, most of the processes were done by people, inefficient, and also poor condition of work...

The hydraulic press made plates just a few moments before, but now it made suspicious noised and then - snap, suddenly all went blank for him.

All until he woke up in a void, which for some reason had checkered floor, before him a blonde woman in a pink... He squinted his eyes trying to figure what that is... Night gown???

Whatever she had big white wings.

She suddenly spoke up with a serene smile to her face.

- He asked in his own language. (He is saying, "What?" Also we are switching back to English. Had to show off my language skills)

"Oh... My apologies, i have mistaken you for Japanese and was trying to offer you the opportunity to go help another world, but since you are not..."

"Another world you say, you got me curious. Go on."

"But that's for Japanese people only."

"Aw, come on. I'm just a little curious. Besides sending only Japanese people? Sure, i have heard about the suicidal rate, but come on."

Her smile twitched for a second. With a sigh she began explaining against her better judgement.

"The world isn't as fun as you might be imagining. It's a natural world, not like... Your own. There are monsters, rough conditions, the weather, the enemy's forces, the mortality rate is at all time high. BUT if one succeeds in killing the Devil king, then they would gain a wish, one that the heavens can match."

"Cool, cool." - Svetislav said, looking unbothered.

"How am i going to talk to people? Is there a language i need to learn, or?"

"Not in the conventional sense. We use magic to help the new additions learn the language quickly, though it does have the tiny chance of destroying your mind."

"MMM lovely, i'm already dead, what's the difference?"

"I meant when you go to the other world."

"You said 'when', that means it's only a matter of time before i go there."

"But~"

"Sh-sh-sh-sh."

Svetislav went to her and put his finger against her lips to shut her up.

"Don't worry."

He didn't even allow her to speak, instead he just gave her the cheekiest look imaginable and pressured her into allowing him to go there.

She finally gave in, raising her hands and saying with an annoyed tone. "Alright, FINE! Make a wish and i will send you on your way..." She summoned many old looking sheets of paper and gave them to him. Then she sat back on the chair that waited in the background from the very start. "Besides, far too many before you refused..."

He smirked before beginning to read through the stuff, counting the pros and cons and making himself and list in his mind.

Nearly twenty minutes later of reading, he was nearly done, but then something unusual occurred.

Another sheet of paper seemed to be falling down from somewhere above, slowly gliding next to Svetislav, who looked at it and immediately grabbed it with a quick hand movement.

He read into it and murmured.

"The ability to create any ability if you have good theory or inspiration. Sounds OP. Gonna rediscover the golden rectangle..."

He stood up and went to the angel, showing her what it shows and pointing at it, as if he is showing a bounty.

She looked at him wide eyed as he made the aggressive gesture.

"I want this one."

She read the wish and looked very confused... But whatever...

She stood up and made a teleportation circle under Svetislav.

"Your wish has been granted. Farewell, oh great warrior."

Her voice serene once more.

"The fate of the world is in your hands, Svetislav, good luck."

"Thanks, but also good luck to you, with the people after me." - He grinned as he floated up and into a vortex that sent him into the fantasy world.

Before she could reply he was already too far into the process.

Soon enough, he appeared on his feet on unrecognized land; people were going on about their day.

Streets laid with stones, brick houses, wooden stands with veggies, meats and all other goods. The occasional patch of greenery stood out from the otherwise humanized town.

So he had no money, no power, and frankly, no clue what he was supposed to do.
