Chapter 1 - 《Harry Potter- Ravenclaw》Chapter 1: The Obscurus and Ancient Magic

Brain Repository. (I solemnly swear I will keep it safe.)

"Where am I?"

Wyzett glanced around, taking in the utterly unfamiliar scene. Unease flickered through his mind.

Wasn't he just cramming for his final exams?

How did he end up here?

Rubble, shattered stone, and debris were strewn across the floor. The ceiling and walls gaped with jagged wounds, torn open as if by some monstrous force.

Nearby, a fireplace had been blown apart, its remains still spewing ash into the air.

This was clearly no longer his room. It was a ruin.

Suddenly, a torrent of foreign memories surged into Wyzett's mind, overwhelming him.

The body's previous owner had been a dark wizard's test subject, forced to endure unspeakable experiments in black magic.

Through this torment, the original boy had suffered unbearable pain, developing a deep-rooted terror of magic—and, paradoxically, awakening a formidable dark power.

That was exactly what the dark wizards wanted: to create a controllable Obscurus. But they'd forgotten that those who play with fire are bound to get burned.

The original's Obscurus had erupted without warning.

Not only did it obliterate this building, but it also tore the dark wizard to shreds...

As the memories settled, Wyzett realized one earth-shattering fact—

He had transmigrated!

He was now in the magical world of Harry Potter!

Unfortunately, he'd never read the original Harry Potter books. All he knew were scattered fragments from fan-made videos—names like Luna, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Voldemort, and Dumbledore, along with a handful of fleeting images.

As for the films, he'd only seen a single spin-off: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

That movie, at least, he remembered well.

It told the story of Newt Scamander's adventure in New York. In the end, the Thunderbird was set free and Gellert Grindelwald was captured. There were hints of sequels, but now, it seemed, he'd never get to see them.

What stuck with him most, though, was the depiction of the Obscurus: a force of immense power, terrifyingly uncontrollable.

Its form—ash-laden, swirling black mist. Was that what he had become?

As the realization dawned, his surroundings suddenly stirred with restless energy.

A jet of black mist burst forth before his eyes, tearing through the wall in front of him and sending dust billowing into the air.

"So much power!"

An overwhelming surge of rage suddenly swept through Wyzett's mind, dark and violent, filling him with a burning urge to destroy.

That was the curse of the Obscurus.

Those who harbored one were called Obscurials. The Obscurus would seize control, leaving its host with nothing but a desperate, all-consuming hunger for destruction.

Obscurials rarely lived long. Aside from Credence in the film, none were known to survive past the age of ten.

But this body had endured countless dark magical experiments, its magical resilience warped far beyond the ordinary.

Thanks to the dark wizard's twisted designs, the original had somehow made it to eleven—and still lived.

Yet Wyzett could feel it: this latest eruption was different. The Obscurus was gnawing at his mind, threatening to swallow him whole.

If he lost himself to it, he might become the fastest-dying transmigrator in history.

The dark wizard's notebook!

Every method for restraining the Obscurus had come from a single notebook, left behind by the dark wizard.

He had to find that notebook. Only by mastering its secrets could he hope to control the Obscurus—and survive.

He hovered in mid-air, dust swirling beneath him, barely able to make out the scattered wreckage below.

As he searched desperately for the notebook, a sharp "crack!" rang out in the air. Swirling vortexes began to appear, one after another.

Apparition!

The Obscurus's rampage had drawn attention—wizards were bound to arrive sooner or later. He just hadn't expected them to get here so quickly!

Edward Murphy once said: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

To wizards, an Obscurus was as deadly as a raging flood or rampaging beast.

In Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, when MACUSA discovered the Obscurus, they wasted no time attacking, determined to destroy Credence.

Four wizards materialized before Wyzett. Things were going from bad to worse.

They didn't care whether he could recover or not. All four raised their wands, readying for battle.

"It's an Obscurus! Get someone from the Auror Office—this is way beyond us!"

Another vortex spun open as one wizard vanished, off to summon the Aurors.

That left three, their faces tight with anxiety, sweat beading on their foreheads.

"Protego Totalum!"

All three chanted in unison. Layer upon layer of shimmering magical barriers sprang up, trapping Wyzett at their center.

"Merlin's beard! How many years has it been since an Obscurus last showed up?"

"So, are we just going to stand here? Shouldn't we do something?"

"Don't be reckless! Just keep the Obscurus contained! Wait for the Aurors—then we strike together. No need for any nasty surprises!"

The situation was spiraling out of control.

Their intentions were obvious.

They'd trapped Wyzett here, planning to wait for backup and then obliterate him in one fell swoop.

Wyzett tried to speak, but all that came out was a howling gale—raw, wild, and wordless.

If he unleashed the Obscurus's full power to break free, he'd almost certainly destroy the notebook in the process—and the Obscurus would only tighten its grip.

There was just one path left—

Find the notebook, regain control, and prove he wasn't a threat.

...

After a frantic search, perseverance finally paid off. An old, leather-bound notebook caught Wyzett's eye.

What truly startled him, though, was the silver-blue cyclone floating above it—a spiraling vortex, rising and spinning in the air.

The cyclone seemed to sense his gaze. In a flash, it shot straight toward him.

The moment it touched the notebook, the leather tome crumbled to dust and vanished.

Before Wyzett could react, the cyclone plunged into his mind.

The Wizard's Practical Combat Guide

The name of the vanished notebook blazed in his mind, its first page slowly unfolding.

A flood of knowledge poured into his consciousness, swirling and settling into mysterious words.

Custodis Meditatio (Guardian's Meditation): Enhance magical affinity... gather and restrain uncontrollable negative emotions... collect, store, and seal them... transform them into the power of Ancient Magic...

In an instant, Wyzett had mastered the meditation technique. He wasted no time—he began to meditate.

The world sharpened around him, every detail suddenly vivid.

He could sense the Obscurus more completely now, feel the raw, extraordinary force within...

His mind became a vast whirlpool, drawing in the Obscurus's power, refining and transforming it...

Everything seemed to be turning for the better.

But Edward Murphy had another saying: If something can go wrong—even if the chance is minuscule—it will.

A chorus of sharp "crack!" sounds filled the air as wizard after wizard emerged from swirling vortexes, surrounding Wyzett on all sides.

"It really is an Obscurus!"

"The Statute of Secrecy has been in force for ages—how can there still be an Obscurus?"

"Doesn't matter! The priority is to take it down before it causes any more damage. Let's move!"

Wands rose as one. Magical light blazed at their tips, power crackling through the air and sending dust swirling once again.

The attack was imminent. For Wyzett, this was the worst moment yet.

Amidst the swirling dust, a sudden burst of flame flared into existence—and from it, an elderly man stepped forth.

He wore a purple robe trimmed with gold, his silver hair and beard long enough to tuck into his belt. Behind his half-moon spectacles, his piercing blue eyes shone with wisdom and resolve.

Every wizard present turned in shock. "Professor Dumbledore? What are you doing here?"
