Synopsis
I'm writing a fanfic about another jinchuriki for Konoha. I'm trying to be as coherent as possible without offending Kishimoto-sensei, since he left many gaps in his work. So, I'll be relying on wikis, the fandom, and comments. Feel free to comment; I'd love to build this story with you all.

Chapter 1 - Uzumaki

Third Shinobi War

Near the end of the Third Shinobi World War, the Yellow Flash of Konoha faced off against Kumogakure's brothers, A and Killer B. The battle unfolded almost the same as in the original timeline, with one key difference: in this universe, Killer B wasn't fast enough

Using the Flying Thunder God Technique, Minato instantly positioned himself behind the Eight-Tails' jinchūriki and, in a single motion, severed his head with a kunai.

A was consumed by rage. He charged at Minato, and the battle reignited. However, driven by anger, he was no match for the Yellow Flash of Konoha. Unable to keep up, A was forced to retreat, badly wounded and assisted by Kumo shinobi. Minato chose not to pursue and instead withdrew with his team.

Not long after, the Third Raikage fell due to Iwa's betrayal. A assumed the position of Fourth Raikage, and faced with mounting losses, he had no choice but to withdraw Kumogakure from the war.

Near the border between the Land of Grass and the Land of Fire, the cries of a baby echoed from within an abandoned house.

His parents had been killed by Iwa shinobi, who were later driven off by Konoha forces.

A squad of Konoha ninja entered the house, drawn by the sound of the infant's cries.

From the outside, it looked like the home of a farming family—once warm and loving. Now, they were nothing more than casualties of war… "acceptable losses," reduced to numbers.

The father lay inside, his throat cut—he had likely choked on his own blood. The mother's body was found just outside the room where the baby cried, lying in a pool of her own blood. Upon closer inspection, she had multiple stab wounds across her abdomen and chest. She had bled to death.

"What kind of sick bastard…?" muttered the medical ninja after a brief examination, disgusted by the brutality inflicted on simple civilians.

The captain knew why this had been done. It was a tactic—to break morale, especially among shinobi who came from civilian families.

Even so, he couldn't suppress the disgust he felt toward those who had carried it out.

When they entered the room where the crying came from, it appeared to be a nursery. But the sound wasn't coming from the crib—it was coming from beneath the floorboards.

After removing them, they found the baby, lightly covered in dust and wrapped in a blanket.

Like his parents, the child had red hair.

The baby stopped crying for a moment when the light reached him, only to cry again when he failed to recognize any familiar faces.

The medical ninja gently picked him up and examined him.

"It's a boy… he seems healthy. Should we… take him back to Konoha?"

The captain, who had been staring silently at the child, suddenly turned toward him, irritation clear in his voice.

"Did you really just ask that?"

Feeling the weight of everyone's gaze, the medic quickly lowered his head.

"My apologies, Captain."

Even while holding the crying child, he attempted a bow, but the captain stopped him. Instead, he ordered him to take two squad members and return to Konoha immediately, reporting to the Third Hokage that Iwa shinobi were operating near the border between the Land of Grass and the Land of Fire.

As the medic prepared to leave, adjusting the blanket around the baby, he noticed something dark on the child's foot.

Looking closer, he realized it was a name.

The baby already had a name.

Arashi.

So, what do you think?

I've had this fanfic idea for a few months now, but I always wondered if it would actually work—or if I should even write it at all. In the end, I said screw it and decided to go for it.

If this works out, I'll keep going. And if it doesn't… I'll probably keep going anyway. At the very least, nothing's tying me down, so I can stop whenever I want.

See you in the next update.
