Aarav was an ordinary college student who loved reading web novels late at night. One evening he was reading a popular BL novel called "Crimson Crown."
The story was about two main characters:
Prince Adrian – a cold and powerful crown prince.
Knight Lucian – a brave and loyal knight who always protected him.
Aarav sighed while reading the last chapters.
"Why is the villain so stupid? If I were him, I would definitely avoid dying."
The villain of the novel was Duke Kael, a proud noble who constantly tried to interfere with the prince. In the original story, his fate was terrible—Prince Adrian personally executed him.
Aarav closed the book and fell asleep.
But suddenly…
A bright light flashed in front of his eyes.
When he opened them again, he was no longer in his room.
Instead, he was lying on a huge bed inside a luxurious palace room. The ceiling was high, the walls were decorated with gold patterns, and sunlight poured through tall windows.
"What… where am I?" Aarav whispered.
He quickly stood up and ran to a mirror nearby.
The moment he saw his reflection, his heart almost stopped.
"This… this face…!"
The person in the mirror was Duke Kael.
The exact same villain from the novel he had just read.
"No way… Did I get transported into the novel?!"
Panic filled his mind.
"If I'm Duke Kael… then that means… my execution is coming!"
In the story, Duke Kael's death happened after he provoked the crown prince.
Aarav grabbed his head.
"No. I'm not dying like that. I just need to stay away from the main characters."
Just then—
Knock! Knock!
The door suddenly opened and a servant rushed inside.
"My lord! The Crown Prince has arrived at the palace."
Aarav froze.
"Already?!"
According to the original novel, the prince shouldn't arrive for several more days.
"That means… the story has already started changing."
Before he could react, the door slowly opened again.
A tall figure stepped inside the room.
He had dark hair, sharp features, and cold blue eyes that seemed to see through everything.
It was Prince Adrian.
The most dangerous man in the entire novel.
His gaze locked directly onto Aarav.
For a moment, the room became completely silent.
Then the prince spoke in a calm but intimidating voice.
"Duke Kael… you seem different today."
A chill ran down Aarav's spine.
Inside his head he screamed,
"That's the man who kills me in the original story!"
But what Aarav didn't know yet was this—
In this new version of the story…
Prince Adrian wasn't going to kill him.
He was going to fall in love with him.
Aarav didn't sleep at all that night.
Every time he closed his eyes, he saw Prince Adrian's intense gaze and heard his words
"Now you've caught my attention."
"This is bad… this is really bad," Aarav muttered, pacing around the room.
In the original story, Adrian's attention only meant one thing—
danger.
"I need a plan," he whispered. "Step one: stay away from the main characters. Step two: don't interfere with the plot. Step three: survive."
