In a certain universe, there was a world called earthland.
In that world was a kingdom called Fiore.
In that kingdom was a town called Magnolia.
In that town was a guild called Fairy tail.
And in that guild, a young teenager just appeared to register as a new member.
"May I have your name miss?"
"Katherine Bishop."
"Age?"
"16."
"And what magic do you specialize in if I may ask?"
"....I can take over different abilities."
The white haired receptionist stopped to look at the teenager in surprise and interest.
"So you specialize in take over magic? That's amazing." She clapped her hands like a child who just witnessed the greatest magic trick.
Although take over magic is common, it's not that easy to practice like the rest because of it high risk. Therefore for that person to actually master it means that he or she is quite the prodigy.
"Actually, my magic is not technically take over as it's quite different from the actual take over! In fact, I don't get them the same way as you guys get the monsters, and demons,! You see, there are certain conditions I have to fulfill and limit that has to be set before I have the chance to take..."
"You know what? You're right. It's take over magic. The details doesn't matter. It's the same thing. My bad." Katherine rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment after realizing how useless her explanation was while the receptionist just giggled at her, finding it cute.
"By the way, what's your name?" Katherine asked in order to change the subject.
"Mirajane Strauss. But you can call me Mira." Luckily, the receptionist didn't mind as she concluded the registry. She then put the book down before bringing out a stamp shaped like their guild emblem. "Alright! Registration is complete. Now to make it official, on where would you like your guild mark and in which color?"
Normally, Katherine didn't understand what Mira meant. But after seeing the guild tattoo on the others, she believed got a gist of the process.
"Right shoulder. White. And call me Kate." She answered as she exposed her shoulder. Unfortunately, she was wearing a white sleeveless loose top, lavender long skirt that extended her knees and pink short heels shoes. That and her smooth delicate skin prove that she had an easy pampered life.
Which is why Mira wasn't surprised when Kate held her arm tight and tightly shut her eyes, as if expecting some kind of torture.
She giggled a little bit more before gently placing the stamp on the shoulder, letting it do it magic. A white fairy tail guild mark was all that was left on the shoulder when she was done.
By then, Mira started playing with Kate like a mother congratulating her daughter in surviving the dentist."There, there. See? It wasn't that hard. You're a big girl to survive that scary mark. Who's a big girl? Yes you are. Yes you are."
Kate was surprised that she didn't felt anything, but soon got flustered under Mira tease. "Could you please stop it?" She asked, embarrassed.
"Hey Mira, can I get a drink?" One member called from across the room.
"Coming!" Mira answered. But before she left, she turned to Kate one last time. "Let me take care of them first, then I'll be right back to give you a tour. Until then make yourself at home. Welcome to fairy tail."
Kate waited till Mira was gone, then checked around to see if anyone was paying attention, before she looked at the floating translucent panel only visible to her.

The more Kate looked at the panel and the surrounding, the more she feels that everything is real, even though she wanted to deny it.
She looked at the tattooed emblem on her shoulder, a symbol of her first identity on this world. 'I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around all this... being in another world. I mean, what am I supposed to do now?' She thought to herself.
Yes, she was a transmigrator. But she wasn't like those protagonists with background isues. Her family were still alive, had good relationship with each other, and have a simple business, not too well known nor too declining either.
She did her homework and had average, but still good notes.
And her roommate Hinata, despite being a hardcore otaku, was easy to live with.
In fact, his mastery in cooking and science surprisingly came from some anime series, in which the Bishop family approved them after he explained some few episodes. So every Friday night was considered family anime night.
Overall, she lived a pretty ordinary life.

She was walking home with Hinata when a man cosplaying as Zeref Dragneel of fairy tail crossed her path.
She just turned around to look at him, wondering who he was. And when she turned back, she was in a completely different street.
She was trying to figure out what was happening when a panel appeared out of knowhere then asked her to join a guild in order to to gain a reward.
Though she didn't understand anything, she decided to at least do as the panel asked, believing that she might at least know where she is once there.
She was once again, shocked when she was facing not just any familiar guild, but the greatest guild in overall anime history,
The one and only Fairy tail.
She was even even surprised when she saw the mirajane Strauss standing right next to her, asking if there was anything she needed.
Then went some few embarrassing conversations and here she is.
The system still haven't revealed anything else apart from the draw. Making it look like it's not useful for anything else. And for the girl who doesn't know anything? that left her with more questions than answers.
But she knew only one thing, the only person who might know what is happening is Zeref. And right now, she can't face him in this weak state. She'll have to get stronger and right now, that draw is her only way.
'Guess I don't have a choice.' she looked at the panel one more time, as if expecting a last minute change. Then, with a defeated sigh, answered "Draw."
As soon as that word left her lips, the panel was replaced by a plain card with the guild emblem on the center which started changing colors.
'Whatever it takes, I'll get stronger till I can face him, and get back home. Just wait for me everyone.' she mentally promised as she waited for the card still swapping colors.
Soon, the color settled on gold, and the card flipped to reveal what ability she'll take over.
Except it wasn't any ability, but a person.
A youthful middle aged woman with slender build, silver hair tied to a ponytail with a clump resting on her forehead, and round, lavender eyes framed by long eyelashes.
If it wasn't for her adult look, her armor being metal instead of water, and the name, Kate would have thought it was Noelle Silva of the black bulls.
But it was actually the mother herself, the steel war princess,
Acier Silva.
