The demon god possessed demonic energy that was fierce and violent, while the celestial goddess wielded divine power that was soft and gentle.
Initially, they sought to govern together, but their opposing natures led to an apocalyptic war. Their absolute powers collided with such force that the impossible happened: primordial chaos was briefly reignited. The resulting explosion—the Big Bang—shattered the reality they had known, scattering the essence of existence across the vacuum to form the countless lesser galaxies and mortal worlds of the universe.
For eons, the two deities fought among the ruins in a bitter stalemate, neither able to overcome the other. Eventually, weary of their fruitless conflict, they reached a dark compromise. Together, they painstakingly reconstructed their original home, stitching the floating shards of the First Realm back together.
They did not rebuild it for peace, but for entertainment. They initiated the Game, reaching into the mortal galaxies they had accidentally created to summon "Players" from thousands of different worlds. For five hundred years, these summons have lived, cultivated, and died for the amusement of the siblings. Earth is merely the latest world to be harvested.
Now, in the year 2026, the Game has finally reached humanity.
