Golden light spilled over the horizon, heralding the dawn of a new day. Birds took to the skies, their melodies intertwining with the gentle rustle of leaves in the morning breeze. It was a morning of peaceful serenity,one that was shattered by the sound of a loud explosion . Two students were locked in battle, exchanging blow after blow as they fought. One of these students was Thadeus, a pyrokenetic user( fire user)with the power to manipulate fire and the other one was Alexa , a girl whose brute strength was rivaled only by the gods.
Thadeus leapt back , trying to gain some distance between them . He whispered a spell , casting a yellow glow around the area ,and flames erupted around his body. But Alexa was relentless ,she disrupted his spell by throwing a barrage of punches his way , disrupting his concentration.
He dodged and weaved , avoiding her attacks with ease ,but his attention was momentarily diverted by a new presence.
He saw a transfer student, pale and grim looking, watching the their battle unfold with an unreadable expression. Thadeus's distraction proved costly as Alexa landed a solid punch to his gut , sending him stumbling back. The sound of laughter and gasps filled the air as Thadeus vomited Infront of the entire school.
Alexa offered him a hand ,a smile playing on her lips.Thadeus grabbed it ,rising to his feet. He wiped off the vomit with a handkerchief and rubbed his belly, saying ' oh man ,now I'm hungry again '
'serves you right ,'she said, pinching his ear.'You weren't focusing on our sparring match '
Thadeus yelled in protest, rubbing his ear ' I was distracted '
' nothing should distract you! ' Alexa replied, ' look at me ,I can't be distracted by anything !'
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of the principal,who tapped Alexa on the shoulder. Her face lit up as she turned to face the transfer student,and began to bombard him with questions.
-' where are you from ?'
-' what's your name?'
-' do you have a girlfriend?'
Thadeus rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath.' can't be distracted,huh?'
The principal smiled , introducing the transfer student Aries. ' Thadeus, I would like you to show him around the premises.make sure that he's familiar with our environment.'
Thadeus jumped with excitement. ' oh yeah!!' ,' I'll show him around. '
The principal warmed up to a smile , knowing that Aries was in good hands' very well carry on.' he said before walking away
As they walked the halls , Aries remained silent , his eyes scanning the surroundings with a mixture of curiosity and distain. Thadeus, undeterred, continued to chatter , pointing out various classrooms and explaining the schools history and reputation.
While they were walking across the hallway, students from various classrooms glued their faces to the windows; they were charmed by Aries's appearance.
Aries Powers is a young black kid with a light complexion, short white hair ,dark purple eyes . And wore a black leather jacket,cargo pants,black boots and a white glove on his right hand.
Thadeus Blaze on the other hand, was completely different. he had dark colored skin , yellow hair and bright golden eyes. He wore red pants , and a white t-shirt that was beautifully engraved with red sigils.
Their destination was Thadeus's classroom,a room filled with students who looked like they had stepped out of a fairytale. Unicorns, dwarfs, and talking animals mingled and chatted , creating a lively atmosphere. As for fire breathing Dragons they were nowhere to be seen.
' Welcome to Fairytale high ' Thadeus said with a bright smile on his face .Aries,with his one dimensional personally didn't bother to get excited.
Their teacher ,an elf named Cipher, stood at the front of the room ,a superhero cape wrapped around his shoulders ' settle down, everyone ' he said ,his voice commanding attention. ' my name is Cipher but that's Mr Cipher to you, and I'll be teaching you how to become a superhero in a fantasy world.get excited!'
the students erupted in cheers,their faces alight with excitement and determination.
During break time, Thadeus set beside Aries,eating his lunch. Girls swarmed around Aries, trying to get his attention,but he remained aloof ,his expression unreadable.
Alexa joined in ,and pushed Thadeus away and set beside Aries instead. Thadeus protested by jumping on her ; the two fought ,but Alexa was obviously the Victor.
' so I heard that your name is Aries ,like the Greek god of war'she said ,her voice flirting.' I was wondering if we could ---' before she could finish her sentence Aries stood up and walked away .
Thadeus followed him, a look of confusion on his face.
' Hey ,why did you blow her off ?she's literally the hottest girl in the school'
Aries's expression turned cold.
' her reputation means nothing to me . She can burn in hell for all I care ' Thadeus's anger flared ,and before he realized it ,he punched Aries on the face. Aries stumbled back , blood dripping from his nose
" You take that back !' Thadeus demanded ,his aura rising.
Aries's lips curved into a sinister grin ' oh how the mighty have fallen ! I won't take back what I said and I meant every last word I said '
Thadeus siphoned the heat in the environment, converting it into energy and focused it on a single point in his palm . Aries didn't take this assault lightly, he uttered ' Conjuration Lv3 Astro ' creating lightning around his index finger
' FIRE!'
They shouted in unison. their spells collided creating a whirlwind of fire and Ash...
