Chapter 1 - The Stages of Cultivation - Govern By The Codex

So for Foundation Establishment, we have a structured progression:

Qi Gathering: Levels 1–3 – the cultivator begins to sense, absorb, and harmonize with the world's spiritual energy (Qi).

Qi Refining: Levels 1–3 – the cultivator refines that Qi, purifying it and integrating it into their body to strengthen physical and spiritual foundations.

Qi Condensing: Peak level – all the Qi the cultivator has absorbed and refined is condensed into a solid foundation, stabilizing their body and laying the groundwork for the next stage.

So the Core Formation stage builds on the Foundation Establishment stage, marking a shift from stabilizing the body to creating a true powerhouse of cultivation. Here's a structured breakdown:

Shattered Core (Levels 1–3):

The cultivator forms their initial core, a crystallized reservoir of refined Qi inside the dantian.

Qi starts circulating more efficiently, and their attacks gain both power and precision.

Physical signs may include glowing veins, faint energy aura, or subtle changes in appearance.

Mentally, the cultivator becomes sharper and more aware of spiritual fluctuations around them.

Comet Core (Levels 1–3):

The core begins to stabilize and condense further, taking the shape of a blazing comet of energy.

At this point, the cultivator can store much more Qi and project it explosively for battle techniques.

Their presence can start affecting the surrounding environment—plants may wilt or stones crack under their aura.

Core stability allows for controlled power output without exhausting the body.

Meteor (Peak Level):

The core reaches its final peak in this stage, resembling a solid meteor of condensed spiritual energy.

The cultivator achieves immense internal power and becomes capable of techniques that can rival low-level sect leaders.

Physically, their aura radiates like a storm, and their spiritual perception may allow them to sense other cultivators' strength accurately.

Third Stage: Planetary

The realm where one's power becomes self-sustaining, vast, and authoritative. Cultivators at this stage are no longer defined solely by personal strength but by the weight of their presence.

Dwarf Planet (Levels 1–3)

The core expands beyond a single mass, forming a dense, orbiting system of Qi within the dantian.

Qi circulation becomes constant, even without conscious effort.

Cultivators gain immense stamina and can fight for days without exhaustion.

Their spiritual pressure is strong enough to suppress Foundation and Core Formation cultivators outright.

This is the baseline strength of a clan elder, trusted with guarding territory and enforcing clan law.

Luna Phase (Levels 1–3)

The internal planetary system stabilizes, forming a dominant "planet" with one or more Qi satellites orbiting it.

Techniques gain layered effects—attacks may carry delayed explosions, gravitational pull, or crushing pressure.

The cultivator begins influencing the environment passively: weather shifts, terrain fractures, and beasts retreat instinctively.

Their spiritual sense expands outward, allowing them to oversee entire cities or regions.

Senior elders and elite enforcers often reside at this level.

Planetary (Peak Level)

The cultivator's inner world fully manifests as a true planetary core, complete and perfectly balanced.

Power output becomes overwhelming yet refined; a single strike can decide the fate of armies.

Their aura carries natural authority—lower cultivators instinctively bow or find it difficult to resist commands.

This level represents the average strength of a Clan Leader, capable of protecting a clan's legacy and standing against rival powers.

Fourth Stage: Gas Giant

A realm of overwhelming mass and authority. Power here is no longer compact—it is vast, layered, and crushing, like the gravity of a true giant.

Neptune Realm (Levels 1–3)

The cultivator's planetary core expands into a swirling gaseous domain, dense with rotating Qi currents.

Power becomes deep and enduring rather than explosive; their Qi reserves are nearly bottomless.

Techniques gain tremendous range and persistence, capable of reshaping battlefields.

Lifespan increases drastically, allowing these cultivators to exist for eras.

This is the average level of clan ancestors who survived long enough to break past Planetary limits.

Uranus Realm (Levels 1–3)

Qi rotation accelerates and stabilizes, forming layered atmospheric bands of power.

Spiritual pressure alone can crush Planetary cultivators into submission.

Their presence distorts space slightly—movements feel sluggish to enemies, as if trapped in heavy gravity.

These cultivators often serve as elders of Super Clans, acting as strategic weapons rather than front-line fighters.

Saturn Realm (Levels 1–3)

Rings of condensed Qi form around the core, each acting as a secondary reservoir or defensive layer.

Attacks carry both destructive force and suppression, making resistance nearly impossible.

A single Saturn-level cultivator can decide the outcome of a regional war.

This level represents the strength of Super Clan Leaders, beings whose names alone deter conflict.

Jupiter Realm (Peak Levels 1–3)

The core reaches colossal scale, radiating gravity-like pressure that dominates everything nearby.

Qi circulation becomes absolute; the cultivator can suppress entire armies without lifting a hand.

Their techniques resemble natural disasters—storms, crushing force, and unstoppable momentum.

These figures stand at the summit of the mortal world: Leaders of Super Clans and elite generals of empires.

Only those with extraordinary foundations, bloodlines, or destinies can endure this level without self-destruction.

By the Gas Giant Stage, cultivation is no longer just about strength—it's about rule, deterrence, and balance of power across continents and empires.

Fifth Stage: Stellar

A realm where one's core ignites into a true star, radiating power, authority, and destiny across the void.

Dwarf Star Realm (Levels 1–3)

The cultivator's core collapses and reignites, forming a dense stellar furnace.

Qi output becomes continuous and self-sustaining, requiring no external absorption.

Their spiritual sense can span entire planets, sometimes even neighboring worlds.

Techniques gain permanence—barriers, formations, or seals may last decades.

These cultivators commonly serve as Imperial Court pillars, Realm Watchers, or cosmic wardens tasked with monitoring threats between worlds.

Star Phase Realm (Levels 1–3)

The stellar core stabilizes and begins emitting rhythmic stellar pulses, greatly amplifying control and influence.

Power projection extends across space; they can intervene in planetary affairs from orbit or afar.

Imperial Heirs who reach this realm are formally anointed as Crown Prince or Crown Princess, as their strength is now sufficient to safeguard dynastic continuity.

Non-royal cultivators at this level may:

Establish their own Super Clan, or

Elevate an existing clan to Super Clan status.

Such cultivators are granted governance over one or more planets, becoming sovereign powers beneath the empire.

Solar Lord Realm (Peak Levels 1–3)

The core fully matures into a blazing sun, commanding vast stellar authority.

Their presence alone can stabilize or destabilize entire solar systems.

Techniques resemble acts of creation or annihilation—stellar flares, solar suppression, or absolute gravitational dominion.

According to the Ancient Codex, cultivators who reach this realm are granted the sacred title of King.

Kings are authorized to establish independent nations, each spanning one or more solar systems, recognized by imperial law and cosmic accords.

At the Stellar Stage, cultivation becomes inseparable from law, legacy, and civilization-building. These beings don't merely fight—they decide borders, futures, and the survival of countless worlds.

Sixth Stage: Cosmic Monarch

A realm where the cultivator no longer borrows power from the universe—they impose their will upon it.

Shattered Void Realm (Levels 1–3)

The Solar Core fractures, not in weakness, but to make space for boundless expansion.

The cultivator gains authority over the void itself, allowing movement, combat, and cultivation in absolute vacuum.

Space bends instinctively around them—distance shortens, attacks warp, and escape becomes nearly impossible for lesser beings.

Their spiritual sense spans entire star clusters.

At this level, Kings bow, and Stellar Lords dare not offend them.

Galactic Phase Realm (Levels 1–3)

The fractured void within stabilizes into a rotating galactic structure, complete with stars, worlds, and laws of motion.

The cultivator can influence or dominate entire galaxies, enforcing order through overwhelming cosmic pressure.

Techniques scale to galactic distances; wars are decided before armies ever meet.

Their inner universe begins producing self-sustaining energy, vastly increasing cultivation speed and longevity.

Only the most ancient Kings or hidden beings reach this realm.

Perfected Monarch (Peak Level)

The inner cosmos reaches perfection, becoming a complete, living universe under absolute control.

These beings are named Emperors, standing above Kings by decree of the Ancient Codex.

An Emperor commands multiple galaxies and shapes cosmic law with thought alone.

Within their bodies, they can create entire worlds, complete with skies, seas, and continents.

Mortals and cultivators may live inside these inner worlds, cultivating naturally.

Every breakthrough, prayer, or surge of faith within those worlds feeds power back to the Emperor, creating an eternal cycle of growth.

At this stage, conflict ceases to be personal. Wars are clashes of realities, and defeat often means erasure from existence.

Seventh Stage: Dominion Lord

Those who stand at the apex of all cultivation. Not conquerors of reality—but its rightful sovereigns.

Only seven beings have ever reached this realm.

Each Dominion Lord is bound to the Ancient Codex, which recognizes them as absolute rulers beyond Emperor authority.

Upon ascension, the Codex creates a new infinite realm for that being alone, preventing direct conflict and preserving cosmic balance.

These realms are not territories—they are self-contained universes, born from law rather than creation.

The Seven Seals of Dominion

Progression at this stage is no longer cultivation of energy, but refinement of authority.

Each Seal represents the unlocking of deeper dominion over existence itself.

Seal I – Genesis Right

The Dominion Lord gains absolute authority over their newly formed realm.

Natural laws, time flow, space structure, and energy systems are dictated by their will.

Seal II to Seal VI – Domain Expansion

With each additional Seal, the Dominion Lord may create one Sub-Domain.

Sub-domains can function as:

Independent universes

Afterlife realms

Cultivation paradises

War dimensions

Sealed prisons for cosmic threats

Each sub-domain is permanently anchored to the parent realm and cannot exist without it.

Seal VII – Absolute Sovereignty

Marks the completion of Dominion authority.

The Dominion Lord's existence becomes synonymous with their realm.

Destruction of the realm would require erasing the Dominion Lord across all timelines—something believed to be impossible.

The Seven Dominions

There are currently six realms/universes in existence.

The Sixth Realm is uniquely co-owned by the Twin Dominion Lords:

Yin

Yang

Instead of claiming separate realms, they merged theirs at inception, forming a single infinite universe with fourteen sub-domains—seven each.

This unprecedented act reshaped Codex law and is believed to be the foundation of balance itself.

Together, these beings are known as The Seven Dominions—entities whose decisions ripple across every empire, galaxy, and inner world.

Beyond Dominion — Deity Transformation

A realm not of cultivation, but of truth.

The Deity Transformation Stage

This stage is named within the Ancient Codex, yet no being of the current eras has ever reached it.

Unlike all previous stages, Deity Transformation cannot be forced, inherited, or comprehended through technique alone.

To reach it is to step beyond authority and become a principle of existence.

According to the Codex:

"Those who attain Deity Transformation shall no longer cultivate the universe.

The universe shall cultivate them."

Novah Genesis — The First Deity

Titles:

The First Deity

The Born Supreme

The Great Planner

Novah Genesis was not a cultivator in the traditional sense.

He was born at the Deity Transformation stage during the Chaos Era, when the First Iteration of reality was collapsing under civil war and foreign invasion.

The universe itself responded by giving birth to him—an absolute correction to chaos.

Reality, time, law, and causality fed him directly, allowing him to ascend into the ultimate realm:

Perfected Deity

A state beyond Dominion, Emperor, or Monarch.

At this level, existence is no longer observed—it is understood completely.

The true nature of all things becomes visible: fate, cycles, creation, and annihilation as one continuous design.

It was at this stage that Novah Genesis:

Created the Ancient Codex, a timeless governing construct immune to era, realm, or corruption.

Established the cultivation hierarchy that now governs the Six Realms.

Embedded balance, limitation, and possibility into existence itself.

The Great Seal of Reality

To ensure eternal security:

Novah Genesis used his body and soul to seal off this reality from external invasion.

This act did not kill him—it transformed him into the living boundary of existence.

He became the wall between creation and the unknown beyond.

Because of this sacrifice:

No foreign deity or external reality may invade.

All conflicts must arise from within, preserving authentic evolution.

Hope Left Behind

Despite his absolute power, Novah did not lock existence into stagnation.

Within the Codex, Novah deliberately:

Allowed for an infinite number of realms to be generated.

Left the path open for others to reach Deity Transformation.

Declared that any being who achieves this stage will gain access to the Deity Realm.

The Deity Realm

A realm hidden from all Dominion Lords, Emperors, and Codex enforcers.

Only within it can one reach Perfected Deity.

Upon entry, the illusions of cultivation, power, and even self are stripped away.

This is where the truth of existence is revealed.

Legacy of the Codex

The Ancient Codex is revered because it is:

Timeless

Unbiased

Perfectly scalable for any era

Neither tyrannical nor benevolent—only correct

This is why Novah Genesis is remembered not just as a god, but as:

The Planner who trusted existence to grow on its own.
