Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1:THE BEGGINNING OF EVERYTHING

This world is very vast. Within it, many wonders, mysteries, and magical things are hidden. What the universe thinks, what will happen next—none of us can say or predict. Just like people often say, "The world is unpredictable," the same thing happened in the lives of these two people.

This is the story of unexpected miracles that took place in their lives. Now, let us see this story.

The story begins in Kashmir, where heavy snowfall was happening. In Gulmarg, a place famous for snow skiing, lived a young boy named Raghavan. His father's name was Vikram, an army officer, and his mother Priya was a professor. At that time, Raghavan was only five years old.

Skiing was very popular in Gulmarg, and Raghavan spent most of his time skiing. Days passed by, and the person who taught him skiing was Vihaan, who was then a college student. Raghavan was very fond of Vihaan, and Vihaan also cared deeply for Raghavan. Their bonding was very strong, like brothers.

Raghavan's life was very joyful. But after some time, Vikram got transferred, and Raghavan had to leave Gulmarg. He would miss Vihaan, the neighbors, and the snow. Soon after, Vikram got transferred to his hometown, Ooty, and the family moved there.

After landing at the airport, Raghavan, his parents, and many security guards and bouncers came out. Around ten cars arrived to pick them up. Raghavan didn't understand anything—he had lived only in Gulmarg since birth and had never seen anyone apart from his parents.

They got into a car, which passed through a huge gate into a palace-like mansion. Luxury cars like Rolls Royce, Bentley, and Lamborghini were parked in front, and armed guards surrounded the place.

That was when Raghavan met his grandfather, Mahadevan, Vikram's father. Mahadevan was one of the richest men in India, the head of Mahadevan Group of Industries. He was the sole person protecting that massive empire.

Seeing Raghavan, Mahadevan became extremely happy. He lifted him and said,

"Don't you recognize me? I'm your grandfather."

Raghavan was confused.

Everyone rested that day. The next morning, Mahadevan personally helped Raghavan brush his teeth, bathe, bought him many clothes, dressed him in his favorite outfit, and even tied his shoelaces. When he asked which car Raghavan wanted to go in, Raghavan pointed to the Ferrari, and Mahadevan happily took him in it, showing him the entire estate.

Since Raghavan loved horse riding, Mahadevan arranged that too and stayed with him the entire time. Slowly, a strong bond formed between grandfather and grandson. Raghavan adapted to the place and lived happily.

Raghavan's birthday was approaching, so Mahadevan made grand arrangements. Seeing the happiness between them, Vikram and Priya were also very happy. However, Vikram told his father,

"You could have given this happiness to my son earlier. Keeping him away all these years was wrong."

Mahadevan questioned Vikram back, asking if he didn't know what had happened in the past, and walked away.

Soon, Raghavan's birthday arrived. The house was decorated with lights. Horses, elephants, businessmen, politicians—many guests were present. The cake was ready to be cut, but Vikram and Priya had gone out to buy Raghavan a gift and hadn't returned yet.

Suddenly, a security guard whispered something to Mahadevan. Shocked, Mahadevan ran outside. Raghavan followed him.

There, they saw Vikram and Priya had died in a car accident. Their bodies were brought and placed in front of the house. Mahadevan was so shocked that he couldn't even cry—he stood frozen. Raghavan cried uncontrollably, begging his parents to get up and cut the cake with him.

Gathering strength, Mahadevan comforted Raghavan and completed the final rites for his son and daughter-in-law.

Years passed. Only Raghavan and Mahadevan lived in that house. Mahadevan raised Raghavan with immense love and care. Raghavan grew up, and at the age of seventeen, he was admitted to a new, bigger school.

Since it was a new school, Raghavan had no friends. On his first day, he couldn't even find his classroom. After searching, he finally entered. No one offered him a seat, except one boy who called him over. That boy introduced himself as Adhithya. Raghavan introduced himself too, and they became friends.

After school, Raghavan asked his grandfather for a bicycle so he could go to school. Mahadevan bought him a brand-new cycle.

One day, while cycling to school, a car suddenly hit him, and he fell down. A girl rushed out of the car, apologized repeatedly, helped him up, and handed him his bag. Raghavan said it was okay and continued to school.

Later in class, a girl asked, "May I come in, ma'am?"

Raghavan realized it was the same girl who had helped him earlier. She was in his class—a new admission. Though she tried to focus, she couldn't stop looking at him.

During the break, Raghavan sat alone under a tree, cleaning the wound on his hand. The girl saw him, felt bad, brought medicine and a band-aid, treated his wound, and apologized again. They introduced themselves—her name was Pallavi.

They started talking. Pallavi noticed Raghavan was always alone, and he explained that he had no friends except Adhithya. Pallavi then offered to be his friend, and Raghavan happily accepted.

From then on, they spent every break together. One day, while in the canteen, Pallavi accidentally spilled juice on a boy. Though she apologized, the boy got angry and tried to pour juice on her in return. At that moment, Raghavan intervened and hit him with a glass bottle. The boy fell down, and his friends attacked Raghavan.

Raghavan fought them off, even using a hockey stick, knocking everyone down. Pallavi rushed to inform the principal.

All students were questioned. Though Raghavan's reason was justified, violence was still wrong. The principal punished everyone with extra assignments and warned suspension. Raghavan was additionally punished to run 100 rounds around the ground.

As Raghavan kept running, exhausted, Pallavi stood there crying, unable to watch him suffer. Even after school ended, Raghavan continued running. Rain started pouring, yet he didn't stop.

The P.T. teacher came to check on him. Seeing the teacher, Raghavan continued running, shocked and drenched in the rain.
