Chapter 1 - The beginning.

A fifteen-year-old boy was locked in a fierce battle against a tree-like monster deep within the jungle.

"You bastard! You didn't even let me sleep peacefully! I'm not letting you go this time!" he shouted in anger.

With a sharp thrust of his sword, he struck the glowing stone embedded in the monster's chest. The stone cracked, shattering with a blinding flash — and the creature let out a horrifying scream before turning into dust and vanishing into the air.

The boy let out a long breath, exhausted.

He dropped to the ground and lay there, staring at the sky.

"That was dangerous," he murmured, a small smile forming on his face. "But this feeling… this feeling of victory is something truly thrilling."

.....

My name is Robert.

I lived a little way from the jungle with my brother Argon — both of us orphans. Maybe my older brother had seen our parents once, but he never spoke of them. We were blacksmiths by trade; Argon taught me the forge .I had never seen a better smith than him.

One night, a group of unknown men came and kidnapped my brother. They took him away. I tried to fight them, but there were many of them and they were powerful. As they were leaving, my brother threw his sword to me and shouted, "Find me." I don't know who those people were. My brother and I tried to fight them, but we failed. It was strange — when they looked at me, it was as if they didn't even see me. They completely ignored my presence.

That same night I chased after them, but they suddenly disappeared, and I became trapped in this jungle.

I didn't know how I would find my brother, but I wouldn't give up. He'd given me his most precious sword — I didn't even know when it had been forged, only that it was far more special than any blade I'd ever seen. And he'd given it to me.

And why did he tell me to find him? He gave me his sword and said those words… but something about it just doesn't make sense.

.....

Then another tree-like monster stepped out of the undergrowth.

"Oh—fuck,"

He moved forward to fight, but his eyes went wide. The monster wasn't alone — there were four more beside it.

"What the fuck."

"Plan B — run!" He shouted, and bolted.

This bastard had brought his whole family with him.

He keeps running, dodging through the forest, trying to escape the monsters, but they refuse to give up the chase.

Then suddenly, he spots two figures ahead of him.

One of them — a girl, around twenty years old — shouts,

"Duck!"

"What?"

"I said duck, idiot!"

Robert watches in complete shock, his eyes wide and his mouth hanging open.

To be continue...
