Chapter 1 -  The Sage System, Binding the Sage Body

The New World, somewhere on the open sea.

The sun hung high above, its golden rays gleaming across the waves.

Splash!

A massive pirate ship cut through the ocean, churning up rippling waves in its wake.

On deck, a crowd of pirates drank and shouted, their laughter echoing across the sea.

"Hahaha! Captain, this time we struck gold! We plundered a merchant ship and even found a Devil Fruit! That'll fetch a fine price once we sell it!" one pirate bellowed.

"Yeah, but damn those merchants for hiring so many tough guards. We lost a few brothers, but for a haul of jewels and a Devil Fruit, I'd say it was worth it."

"Those fools didn't even know who they were dealing with! Our captain's bounty is three 100 Million Berries! In the New World, his name alone makes people tremble!"

As they spoke, all eyes turned toward the man sitting in the middle of the group—their captain, Anos, a ruthless pirate with a bounty of 300 million Berries.

"Enough talk," Anos said with a grin. "Once we sell this Devil Fruit, we'll take a break and let the boys enjoy a rich man's life."

"Captain mighty!"

"Captain mighty!!"

"Captain mighty!!!"

The pirates roared in excitement, cheering wildly.

At that moment, the helmsman shouted, "Captain! There's a small boat up ahead!"

"A small boat?"

Anos frowned. "You really need to report something that trivial to me?"

"Understood, Captain!" The helmsman nodded quickly, then shouted,

"Load the cannons! Sink that boat!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Several black cannonballs whistled through the air, screaming toward the tiny vessel.

Shing!

A lone figure leapt from the small boat, blade flashing—

and in an instant, every cannonball was sliced apart in midair.

Boom!

Explosions lit up the sky, smoke billowing in dark plumes.

A young man landed on the water, rubbing his temples.

"What a pain… I don't think I've had a decent night's sleep since I set sail," he muttered.

His name was El, a traveler not of this world—

but from a faraway place called Blue Star.

It had been half a year since he'd arrived in this world.

And through his observations, El realized something shocking—

this wasn't the current era of pirates.

Nor was it the Roger Era.

This was even earlier—

the age of Rocks D. Xebec.

The Rocks Era, when monsters roamed the seas and legends were born.

A time far more dangerous than any era to come.

So how could someone like him dare to sail these seas?

Because, like many protagonists before him—

he had a golden finger: a system.

And not just any system—

the Sage System.

System Interface:

Host: El

Abilities:

Armament Haki: 900 / 1000

Observation Haki: 900 / 1000

Conqueror's Haki: 700 / 1000

Special Ability:Sage Body (950 / 1000)

Current Level: Basic

Progression: Can be increased through training or combat.

Note:

When progress reaches 1000, the Sage Body upgrades to the next stage, greatly enhancing physical strength, endurance, and regeneration. The host will also receive a Special Reward Draw.

Locked Special Ability:Sage Eyes — Locked.

(Note: Unlocks when Sage Body reaches Advanced level.)

Bound Entity:Nine-Tails — Locked.

(Requires a Devil Fruit to unlock binding.)

The Haki abilities had been part of his starter gift from the system when he first crossed over.

The system had directly implanted the perfect training methods for all three forms of Haki into his mind.

After a year of intense training and countless battles, El had nearly reached the second stage in both Armament and Observation Haki—just a hundred points short.

As for Conqueror's Haki, that couldn't be trained directly. It could only grow with mental strength and willpower, hence why it was still at 700.

The Sage Body was another gift from the system—

something he'd had to choose when he first arrived.

He'd been given two options:

either the Sage Body or the Sage Eyes.

In the Naruto world, the Sage Body was a legendary constitution—

granting immense vitality, stamina, and near-limitless chakra.

But in this world, chakra had been translated into pure strength.

So the Sage Body amplified physical power, endurance, and recovery speed to terrifying levels.

Right now, El's body was as tough as Charlotte Linlin's when she was a child—

bullets and blades couldn't pierce his skin, and even cannonballs barely scratched him.

His regeneration was already comparable to that of a Zoan-type Ancient Beast user.

And when his Sage Body advanced further, all those traits would become even stronger.

As for Taijutsu—well, after a year of brawling with powerful foes across the seas, he'd yet to meet anyone who could exhaust him.

The Sage Eyes, on the other hand—

were none other than the Rinnegan, the all-powerful eyes of legend.

Their powers were incredible, capable of reshaping the very world.

But after weighing his options, El had chosen the Sage Body.

In the One Piece world, what mattered most was physical might.

Without it, even the strongest Haki was meaningless.

If he didn't have an unbreakable body, a sneak attack could end him instantly.

Now, his Sage Body progress was just 50 points from reaching the Intermediate stage.

He could hardly wait.

When that happened, not only would his strength, stamina, and recovery soar—

but the system would also grant him a special reward!

He didn't know what it was yet,

but he knew one thing: the system never gave out ordinary prizes.

As for the Nine-Tails, he hadn't bound it yet.

Because he lacked one critical item—

a Devil Fruit.

Finding one was his top priority.

But Devil Fruits were the greatest treasures of this ocean—rare and priceless.

Still, if he could obtain one and bind the Nine-Tails,

his strength would skyrocket.

After all, the Nine-Tails was one of the most destructive beings from the Naruto world.

El gripped his blade tightly, stepping to the prow of his small boat as it approached the pirate ship.

Step!

With a single leap, he landed on the enemy deck.

"Huh?"

The sound of boots hitting the deck caught the pirates' attention. They turned—and saw El standing there.

"Damn brat! You dare board our ship?!"

"What arrogance! Don't you know who you're facing? Our captain's a big-name pirate of the New World with a bounty of 300 million Berries!"

"Wait… that kid looks familiar… isn't he—

El! The lone pirate who's defeated multiple Marine fleets! The one with a 100 million Berries bounty!"
