Synopsis
"You smell different," he breathed, his growling voice low, while inching closer with his fingers closing tighter around her neck. Gilly's heart raced out of her chest as fear fought a strange thrill. "You've got to be very brave to come into my room like that." He moved in closer, his grip tightening around her while catching her so hard and slamming her back into the cold stone wall. She winced as pain shot down her back, which were still injured and sore from her last beating "I will ask you once more, slave," he growled, pressing his claws deeper into her skin Gilly of Ashmere was one of twelve lupines destined to be cast aside as slaves, just another offering to the throne of Thornmere. Chapter 1 - Author's Thought

When I began writing Crown of Claws. I wanted to do more than just tell a story about werewolves and royalty. I aimed to explore what it means to survive in a world that decides who you can be.

Gilly's journey embodies that feeling of being meant for more, even when no one else believes it. This story is for anyone who has ever felt unseen, silenced, or afraid to embrace their truth.

It's a reminder that the parts of us we hide, the ones others call strange, too much, or unworthy, are often what make us extraordinary.

Thank you for stepping into Thornmere with me. I hope that in Gilly's courage and Caelen's darkness, you find reflections of your own strength, and maybe a little magic, too.😜
