Chapter 1 - THE FALL OF THE HOUSE HOLD

Years ago, in a land far from the sight of men, lived a woman named Lucy. She lived with her brothers, sister, and father. She fell in love with a man named Griffin—a man known for his life of deception, destruction, and greed for power. But Lucy saw something pure in Griffin. She followed her heart, and in time, changed Griffin from his former life.

Years passed, and Lucy had just given birth—her fourth child for Griffin. Their children's names were Jessica, Derek, Lawrence, and Steven. Unlike other children of the world, these ones possessed supernatural abilities. Some considered these abilities curses; others saw them as blessings.

One fateful day, Lawrence was celebrating his 5th birthday. The household was alive with joy. But on that same day, tragedy struck. Griffin's household was attacked. The battle that followed lasted hours, a brutal bloodbath with no mercy. By the end of it, Lucy lay dead... and Griffin's past self returned in full force.

Amidst the chaos, Lawrence was buried alive.

He fell into the unknown...

And now—he knows the Unknown.

Chapter 1.1 — Eleven Years Later

Eleven years had passed since that traumatizing day. Lawrence woke up suddenly from sleep. He remembered he had to go to school.

He got out of bed and rushed into the next room to wake his friend, Juice. Minutes passed. The two were seen preparing, chatting as they dressed. Juice opened his black Lamborghini. Lawrence jumped in, ready to go.

Suddenly, Juice's mother called out from the doorway, warning them not to drive roughly or crash the car.

They both nodded, pretending to agree. The moment she turned away, Juice started the engine and fired the car forward—breaking all traffic rules. Sirens flared behind them as local heroes and cops gave chase.

Laughing wildly, the boys managed to outrun everyone. They burst into laughter and celebrated their successful escape as they pulled into school.

Chapter 1.2 — The Arrival at School

They drove into the school compound. Students turned to look as the black Lamborghini parked. New students were amazed. Older students barely reacted—they already knew how wild Lawrence and Juice could be.

The boys stepped out and made their way to the assembly hall.

Inside, the hall was filled with students, all with different supernatural abilities. The school principal soon stepped on stage and began his speech.

The speech dragged...

Forty-five minutes passed. Then nearly an hour.

Some students grew bored. Others annoyed.

Finally, the student president, a girl named Keithly, stepped on stage. She humbly requested the principal to cut the speech short, explaining that it was taking time away from their lectures.

The principal, realizing his error, left the stage. Keithly took over and gave a short, warm-hearted speech. Her words brought joy and encouragement to the students, who cheered her on.

Lawrence and Juice joined in the applause—until Lawrence suddenly stopped. His gaze fixed on Keithly.

> "She's hiding behind a mask," he muttered, glaring. "Acting sweet, pretending to care... she's two-faced."

Keithly caught Lawrence's eyes across the room. His expression didn't sit right with her. She looked annoyed, but quickly looked away.

Chapter 1.3 — Class Tension

Hours later, the students sat in their respective classrooms. Lawrence and Juice leaned back lazily as the teacher explained how people should use their powers responsibly, so they don't hurt themselves—or worse, others.

A student named Tom raised his hand and asked:

> "What about people who use their powers for evil?"

The teacher replied calmly,

> "That's why heroes exist—to stop and control such people."

Tom pressed further.

> "What if the heroes are late?"

Before the teacher could answer, Juice cut her off.

> "Then learn how to fight back, idiot. Stop asking dumb questions," Juice barked. "What, you scared? You don't know how to f***ing survive?"

The whole class burst into laughter.

The teacher clapped her hands, silencing everyone. She turned to Juice.

> "You wouldn't understand. You got your powers early. Plus, you have money."

Juice scoffed.

> "Not my fault Tom's still powerless."

> "Apologize," the teacher ordered.

Juice rolled his eyes.

> "Nah."

Before she could issue detention, Lawrence stepped in.

> "Please," he said softly, "let it slide."

She sighed.

> "Fine. But Juice—leave the classroom."

Juice smirked and walked out. Lawrence followed.

Chapter 1.4 — Conflict with Keithly

In the hallway, the two stood quietly.

Keithly appeared, walking toward them.

> "You guys okay?"

Lawrence turned to her, annoyed.

> "We're fine. We don't need your help."

Keithly frowned.

> "What's your problem?"

> "My problem is you," Lawrence growled. "Acting all warm and innocent when you're nothing but a two-faced devil."

Keithly flared up, speaking in Mexican as she pulled out her claws.

> "Say that again!"

Lawrence grinned, his eyes glowing red. A low growl rumbled from his throat.

Juice laughed, breaking the tension.

> "Damn, Keithly's scary."

Keithly calmed herself and walked away, muttering harshly in Mexican.

Lawrence sighed, grabbing Juice by the collar.

> "This is your fault."

Just then, they noticed someone examining their car.

It was 30th, a well-known hero.

Chapter 1.5 — Lying to 30th

30th approached them.

> "You two students here?"

They nodded.

> "Is this your car?"

They hesitated.

> "Nope."

> "Do you know who owns it?"

Before Juice could speak, Lawrence cut in.

> "I saw the school president step out of it... yeah—Keithly."

Juice's eyes widened in shock. He wanted to laugh but held it in.

30th believed every word.

> "Thanks," he said, and walked into the school.

He soon found Keithly and started interrogating her.

> "I've never driven a Lamborghini!" she snapped.

They both walked to the parking lot.

30th pointed.

> "Then whose car is—"

The spot was empty. Only a tire mark remained.

Miles away, Juice and Lawrence were laughing.

The Lamborghini roared down the highway.

Chapter 1.6 — Tournament Tease

As they drove, a billboard caught their attention:

Global School Tournament – Coming Soon

It displayed the reigning champions—Ascender High—known for their advanced tech, powerful students, and strategic brilliance.

Juice turned to Lawrence.

> "You think our school—Swinder High—can qualify?"

Lawrence stayed quiet.

> "Not interested."

Juice teased,

> "Come on... your demons aren't hungry for some action?"

Lawrence kept his eyes on the road, silent.

Chapter 1.7 — Elsewhere

Tokyo, Japan.

A black Range Rover stopped in front of a luxury hotel. A young girl stepped out, waving at the driver.

Hotel staff bowed as she walked in.

The elevator recognized her:

Jessica Griffin.

At the top floor, she entered her suite and spotted a figure in the corner.

She lunged, knife in hand—until she recognized him.

> "Big brother Derek!" she beamed.

Derek smiled.

> "Coming for the family reunion?"

---

London, England.

Inside a royal estate, a princess poured tea for her suitor.

> "My father's approved of us," she said softly. "We can go public now."

She smiled.

> "Steven..."

Steven looked up, smiled gently.

> "How lovely," he said.
