|COMING SOON AFTER I PLAY THROUGH SHADOWS AGAIN!| A chance encounter with Top Ranger Kellyn whisks Ash and his friends away on a new adventure to the Almia Region, where they must uncover the mystery of the Rainbow Birds and protect them from nefarious outside forces. *** Sixteen-year-old Kellyn, still a new Top Pokémon Ranger, has been stationed in the Sinnoh Region for a while, clearing mission after mission. However, when he’s unexpectedly called back to Almia with concerns about the Rainbow Bird Pokémon, Parity and Blue-Bird, he never expects to run into Ash, Brock, and Dawn again, who ask to go with him. Although reluctant, Kellyn agrees they can come, as long as they keep their distance and let him complete his mission himself, but that proves difficult with Ash’s clumsiness, curiosity, and love for Pokémon—and when the mission turns out to be more dangerous than Kellyn thought. When nefarious forces rise, the Pokémon team must work together before it’s too late for not only them, but also all of Almia and Sinnoh. Chapter 1 - Capture On! | Author's Note

 If I could describe Pokémon Rangers in one word: badass.

 I grew up in the early 2000s, so I'm very familiar with Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, as well as Pokémon Rangers. A story like this was bound to happen eventually, especially since I've always wanted the Diamond and Pearl anime crew to travel to Almia with Top Ranger Kellyn from Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. What's funny is that I wrote a story like this back in 5th or 6th grade. Therefore, it's time for a revamp!

 I guess you could call this story a crossover of Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia and the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: Battle Dimension anime; however, this story is based more on Shadows than Battle Dimension and includes two Fakemon I created and played with when I was a kid, Parity and Blue-Bird!

 If y'all don't know what Shadows of Almia is, it's the second Pokémon Ranger game for the Nintendo DS—and one of my all-time favorite Pokémon games! It has one of the best stories I have ever seen in a video game, which I doubt I can top, but I can always try and have fun with it.

 What I'm most excited about is blending the Pokémon Ranger elements into the mainstream Pokémon anime series, like they did a few times in the early 2000s, and bringing back my favorite ranger, Kellyn. I'm going to attempt to give him a whole character arc, almost like an evolution of his role in Shadows and the anime, and have him learn from Ash and co. that he can't do everything by himself, even if he is a Top Pokémon Ranger. The cherry on top will be Parity and Blue-Bird!

 I'm not expecting this story to be as dark as Infrared, but I tend to add darker twists to the franchise in my fanfics, so I wanted to mention that.

 That said, that's enough babbling from me. It's time to jump into the world of Pokémon Ranger and the Mystery of Parity and Blue-Bird!
