Synopsis
Harive Spencer died once, watching Eastbridge crumble under the unstoppable tide of the zombies. But death was not the end. He awakens three days before the apocalypse begins, back in a life he thought was lost forever. Alive, aware, and armed with his memories of the world’s collapse, Harive finds himself linked to a mysterious system that tracks his stats, talents, and survival opportunities. Strength, agility, perception—they are all laid bare before him, and every choice he makes could tip the balance between life and death. But survival is not just about fighting the Hollows. Eastbridge is a city on the brink, and danger lurks in the streets, in the shadows of abandoned buildings, and even within the hearts of other survivors. Harive’s knowledge of the future gives him an edge, but it also paints a target on his back. Every move he makes must be calculated, every resource scavenged with precision, and every encounter scrutinized for threat or opportunity. And then there’s the system itself, quirky and sometimes annoyingly literal. It nags, hints, and occasionally drops hints in sarcastic tones: “Really? You’re running into a horde with a stick? Genius.” It is both a guide and a companion, providing tactical advantage while forcing Harive to confront just how dangerous—and absurd—the world has become. With only fourty-two hours until the apocalypse erupts, Harive must prepare his defenses, unlock talents, and gather allies. The Hollows are coming, relentless and insatiable, driven by hunger alone, and the city will not wait for him. In a race against fate, with a sassy system at his side and death always looming, Harive Spencer will either reshape the future or become just another memory lost in the ashes of Eastbridge.

Chapter 1 - Regressed!

It has been two hours since Harvie woke up- his thought coherent. Confusion flickering in his eyes unable to belive the reality he land onto.

On 2 October 2025 the whole world has been plunged into chaos. A deadly virus spreading infection from a bite or a scratch from the fallen one's. And the one who gets infected has no chances of survival.

The infection starts from small bite which spreads in the bloodstream, slowly reaching the mind. That is where the thing starts getting out of hand. The virus hijacks host cells and forces them into uncontrollable mitosis. All of infected cells lives as a parasite in the body quickly consuming the power of the body and making them a slave of virus.

Being lived in such world where danger can be on every footstep Harvie was still horrified when he was about to die- but when he opened his eyes he find himself in the same apartment which he had been living during his college time.

Now sitting one the same old bed the nostalgic feeling filled him. Unknown to him his eyes teared up, small streaks of tears falling down his face.

The time where he had been Constantly hunted by the infected, living in cramped spaces whole night, lone surviver running from here to there to save himself from falling into the jaws of death.

"A-Am I really back in time!?" He muttered more to himself than anybody else. It all sounded like a dream for him.

There were thoughts of commiting suicide in his mind, not wanting to live those hell of years again. He had already witnessed the worst- he knew that there is no point of living anymore when there is a big virus just some days away from him now.

"Aroud 40 hours... that's all I have before everything comes crashing down." The clock hanging on the wall gave sent instant chills in his body, knowing that in next dozens of hours his life was going to become hell. There will be no going back from there.

His thoughts were divided in two choices. First choice was simple- to end this before facing it again. He had lived for a long time on that infected world, no human touch and any such thing. There was only one thing that follows him- death.

Second choice was something he can't bring himself to go with once again- to try once again- to survive in this cruel world once again. Sure, there are going to be constant threats but this time he can be prepar--

[Gift packs opening-

Rewards- 5m² inter-dimensional space

2 metal axes]

The rewards were certainly something good. The inter dimensional space is self explanatory- a space which is accessible to harvie himself but nobody else.

And the metal axes were something which can help in the confrontations with the infected in near future.

With the uncertainty of future every small advantage can play a huge role in survival helping any dire situation.

The chances of survival in the future world in less but that does not mean that he should surrender.

In the last lifetime he had spend years in solitary, hunting wild animals for food. His courage slowly getting chipped away with each passing days. There is no way that he will surrender with such powers.

There is nothing special right now, but there can be some better goods waiting for him.

With the knowledge of what is going to happen in the future there are high chances of survival- or perhaps restabilizing the whole humanity again.

Harvie knew he was thinking of something out of his league but there is no problem in thinking, Is there.

It is not completely unknown for him thus time- this time he will make himself the beacon of strenght facing the dead.

They are not just mindless corpses. Each Hollow moves with a single, consuming drive: hunger. It is a hunger that transcends thought, memory, and fear— a compulsion etched into every fiber of their corrupted flesh.

Their eyes, blank yet focused, lock onto warmth and movement, as if some ancient instinct whispers, consume or be consumed. They do not plan, they do not hesitate; the slightest scent of life is a call they cannot ignore. In that endless craving, there is no pain, no fatigue— only purpose.

Some say they seek the living to feed the virus within, to propagate the plague, but in truth, they are simpler, purer: they move, they hunt, they devour. And if you hesitate for a second, even for thought or prayer, they will reach you. Hunger is all they know— and it will not stop.
