Chapter 1 - System's Late Arrival

Kitazawa's ninja school grades weren't ideal.

Uchiha Itachi graduated at seven, while he barely graduated at thirteen.

Uzumaki Naruto became a savior at seventeen, while he fought tooth and nail to become a chunin at seventeen.

In this ruthless ninja world, Kitazawa was a ninja with no talent, no bloodline, and no backing.

To survive until the end, he chose to teach at the ninja school, a position he held for five years.

"Today is another peaceful day in Konoha,"

Kitazawa stood up and walked to the window.

It was the annual first day of school, and the playground was bustling with activity.

Kitazawa looked down at the new student information in his hand, and familiar names came into view.

Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, Hyuga Hinata, Yamanaka Ino, Haruno Sakura, Akimichi Chouji, Nara Shikamaru, Inuzuka Kiba, and so on.

"Five years, five whole years, I've finally waited for these protagonists,"

Kitazawa sighed.

From then on, his life was filled with only two more disasters.

One was Orochimaru's plan to collapse Konoha, and the other was Nagato's invasion of Pain.

The former didn't involve the ninja school, so it wasn't a big deal.

The latter was more problematic; Shinra Tensei destroyed most of Konoha Village.

Kitazawa's plan was to flee early, requesting leave from the village.

As for the specific time, he could calculate it based on the time Uzumaki Naruto and his classmates enrolled.

Just as he was calculating the time, he heard a sudden "ding."

[Host has turned six years old, successfully enrolled. The strongest Hokage training system has been activated.]

Kitazawa froze in his tracks.

After twenty-one years of waiting, at the moment when he least expected it, the door finally opened.

Wait! Where the hell are you? I'm only six years old?

"System, is there something wrong?"

Kitazawa couldn't help but ask.

[Host, please complete the first stage of the main quest, dominate the ninja school, and become the strongest graduate.]

No, man, are you really that stupid?

I'm glad you're here, but I'm not happy you got the time wrong.

How the hell am I supposed to be a graduate now? Answer me!

Kitazawa now understood that the system was fifteen years late.

Did that mean... his wait was in vain?

[If you want to dominate the ninja academy, you must first conquer your classmates.]

[Current Task: Gain initial approval from your classmate Uzumaki Naruto.]

[Task Reward: Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu.]

[Accept?]

Kitazawa was speechless.

He wasn't Uzumaki Naruto's classmate, so how could he complete the task?

If he applied to return to the ninja academy as a student, Sarutobi Hiruzen would probably say, "Your family needs a specialist—no, a medical ninja—to see if your brain has been eaten by zombies."

"Who designed this system? The legendary i-Team?"

Kitazawa rubbed his brow, feeling a headache.

He had no choice but to make the best of it.

If he couldn't complete the task, he... couldn't do anything. He would just get angry, and at most, let out a few curse words.

But what if this idiotic system could actually complete its mission?

Thankfully, there were no penalties for not completing or accepting the mission.

"I can't always be this unlucky, can I?"

Kitazawa chose to accept the mission.

He dropped off the student information and left the office.

Arriving at the school playground, he was met with a barrage of vulgar language.

"Don't go! That guy's a monster."

"Don't play with him! Stay away from him!"

"I don't understand why the Hokage allowed him to come to school."

Kitazawa looked at a small, blond boy sitting on a swing.

He lowered his head, silent and reserved, a pathetically thick barrier separating him from the bustle of the surroundings.

"You're incredible! You dare to breathe on a little boy with a nuclear bomb, and you're afraid of becoming acquaintances?"

Kitazawa ignored the strange looks and stepped forward.

Uzumaki Naruto heard footsteps and instinctively looked up, meeting a pair of dark eyes.

He was stunned, because the other person's attitude was so gentle, and there was no hint of malice.

"What's your name?"

Kitazawa sighed inwardly and asked patiently.

Gaining Uzumaki Naruto's initial recognition was actually a very simple task.

Because in his world, only two people recognized him: Sarutobi Hiruzen and Teuchi (Ichiraku Ramen).

"My name is Uzumaki Naruto."

Uzumaki Naruto felt a hint of warmth, and he perked up and asked, "What about you?"

"Kitazawa." Kitazawa replied.

"Hello, Kitazawa-san!" Uzumaki

Naruto said, his tone slightly excited.

"Don't call me 'big brother,'"

Kitazawa said, his lips twitching. "Call me teacher."

"Teacher?"

Uzumaki Naruto's eyes lit up, and he asked, "Is that the teacher of First Grade Class A?"

"Yes,"

Kitazawa nodded.

"Great!"

Uzumaki Naruto said happily, "I'm in First Grade Class A, too."

"I'll take you to register,"

Kitazawa said, reaching out and patting him on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Teacher Kitazawa!"

Uzumaki Naruto jumped off the swing excitedly, but after two steps, his expression suddenly froze and he lowered his head.

He sensed the disgusted glances from those around him, and this time, even Kitazawa was affected.

"Teacher Kitazawa, I can register myself. Don't worry about me,"

Uzumaki Naruto said, pausing.

"If you care too much about what others think, you'll only become their prisoner,"

Kitazawa said calmly, without turning back.

Uzumaki Naruto stared blankly at his back.

He understood a little, yet also didn't.

"Follow me,"

Kitazawa said, raising his hand and moving his fingers.

Uzumaki Naruto came to his senses and instinctively quickened his pace, catching up.

First Grade Class A.

When Uzumaki Naruto appeared, the entire classroom fell silent, all eyes on him.

That included the registration teacher, Umino Iruka.

Uzumaki Naruto instinctively wanted to lower his head, but for some reason, he remembered Kitazawa's words.

He mustered his courage and faced those gazes.

"Iruka,"

Kitazawa said, his usual smile.

"Kitazawa-senpai,"

Umino Iruka said, suppressing his emotions.

In the original story, his parents died in the Nine-Tails Rebellion.

Now, Uzumaki Naruto was considered a monster, so Umino Iruka initially resented him.

"He's Uzumaki Naruto, a new student in First Grade Class A,"

Kitazawa said calmly. "Register him."

Umino Iruka took out the roster, registered the students, and then gave Uzumaki Naruto the textbooks and schedule for the first semester.

After registration concluded, the two left the classroom and arrived at the school gate.

"Tomorrow is the first day of school, remember not to be late,"

Kitazawa reminded.

"Yes!"

Uzumaki Naruto nodded emphatically and said, "Thank you, Teacher Kitazawa!"

"See you tomorrow,"

Kitazawa said with a wave of his hand.

Uzumaki Naruto was the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, under the surveillance of Sarutobi Hiruzen and the Anbu, and he couldn't act too deliberately.

Fortunately, he was a teacher, not a ninja from the Uchiha clan, otherwise he would have committed suicide by piercing his back with eight kunai the next day.

"Goodbye, Mr. Kitazawa!"

Uzumaki Naruto turned and skipped away, seemingly in high spirits.

[Host completes mission, rewards issued.]

Countless information suddenly flooded Kitazawa's mind.

In an instant, he had completely mastered the Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu, going from beginner to master.

Kitazawa immediately put on a heroic face.

This was truly a system of wisdom... a system of conscience.

Although the Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique is jokingly said to have never killed anyone, it is already a killer move for an ordinary Chunin like Kitazawa.

"What are you laughing at? So happy?"

A sudden voice sounded.

Kitazawa looked over subconsciously.

Not far away, stood a long-haired lady with a beautiful figure.

She had a smile on her face, and under the sunlight, her ruby-like eyes sparkled.
