Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- My Playboy System

The afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the bustling streets of Jinan. Cars honked in the distance, pedestrians walked past shops and tea stalls, and the air buzzed with the energy of a city in motion.

In the middle of a busy road, a young man knelt down on one knee, clutching a bouquet of fresh roses in trembling hands. He wore a simple shirt and pants, his hair slightly messy from the breeze.

His name was Yang Kai, a final-year university student—average in grades, average in looks, and invisible to most people in the world. But today, he had gathered all his courage.

Standing in front of him was Sen Ren, a beautiful girl with a fashionable outfit and sharp eyes. She was his classmate, his girlfriend… and the one he had fallen deeply in love with.

"Sen Ren," Yang Kai said, offering her the bouquet with a hopeful smile, "Will you marry me?"

Sen Ren stared at the flowers for a long moment. Then suddenly, she burst out laughing. Without warning, she slapped the bouquet out of his hands, sending petals fluttering across the road like wounded butterflies.

"Do you really think I could spend my life with a loser like you?" she said coldly. "Let's break up."

Before Yang Kai could respond, she turned around and walked away without hesitation, her heels clicking sharply on the pavement. A luxurious car was parked a short distance away. She opened the door and slid in without looking back.

On the street, the crowd that had gathered began to whisper and laugh.

"Did you see that? His girlfriend just dumped him."

"Yeah, he's just some broke loser."

"Haha, what a joke."

Yang Kai remained on his knees, numb and humiliated. His heart felt like it had been stabbed a thousand times. He didn't look at the people around him. He didn't care about their words.

In the car, a young man sat beside Sen Ren and chuckled.

"So, you really dumped that pathetic loser?" he asked.

It was Luo Hang, another student from their class—wealthy, arrogant, and always looking down on others.

Sen Ren smiled and nodded. "Yeah."

Luo Hang started the engine, and the car sped off, leaving dust and disappointment in its wake.

Back on the street, Yang Kai clenched his fists. His mind was a storm of thoughts.

So… she dumped me, huh.

Suddenly, a strange voice echoed in his mind. At the same time, a transparent yellow screen appeared in front of his eyes.

Yang Kai's eyes widened. He stared at the floating screen in disbelief.

What the hell is this? Am I hallucinating?

He reached out to touch the screen, but his fingers passed right through it. It was like light, like mist—there, but not really there.

No… this must be a dream. I've gone crazy.

He shoved his hands into his pockets and turned to walk back toward the university hostel, trying to ignore the screen that hovered stubbornly in front of his face.

But no matter how he moved, the screen followed him.

He walked faster. Then he jogged. Then he sprinted down the street, weaving between surprised pedestrians and honking cars.

Yet the system screen stayed right in front of him, floating as if it were glued to his vision.

After five minutes of running, Yang Kai came to a stop in a quiet alley, panting for breath. Sweat dripped from his forehead as he glared at the still-hovering screen.

"I… I think it's real," he muttered. "It's been following me all this time…"

Just then, the screen flickered and changed.

Yang Kai blinked.

"…What the hell is this system?"

Just as Yang Kai was catching his breath, the system screen flickered once more in front of him.

---

[Host, from now on, whenever you spend money on women, you will receive 1% amount back into your original account. Additionally, if a woman's favorability reaches 90%, you will receive 20% of the total money spent on her so far as a reward.]

---

Yang Kai's eyes widened.

Is this really happening? Or am I hallucinating from the breakup?

Before he could even question further, the screen changed again.

---

[Host, we will now grant you the Infinity Black Card. This card is linked to your mobile number. It has no spending limit and does not require repayment. However, it can only be used on women. If the host attempts to use the card for personal purposes, the card—and this system—will disappear permanently.]

---

Yang Kai stared blankly at the glowing screen.

What?! I'm going to be rich…

Suddenly, another message appeared.

---

[Host, the card is inside your right pocket.]

---

The screen vanished instantly after that.

Yang Kai blinked and quickly reached into his right pocket. Sure enough, something was there. He slowly pulled it out and stared.

A sleek, pitch-black card glinted under the sunlight. A golden Bitcoin symbol was embossed in the center, giving it a luxurious and mysterious feel. It looked nothing like any card he had ever seen before.

He jumped in joy, barely holding back a cheer.

With a grin spreading across his face, Yang Kai turned and began walking toward his university hostel. He felt as though he was floating on air.

Minutes later, he arrived at the old building, climbed up to the third floor, and reached his shared room. He pushed the door open.

Inside, his three roommates were sprawled across their beds, glued to their phones. They weren't watching sports or gaming streams—but live streaming on a popular platform called Girly App.

Girly App was famous on campus. It was exclusively for female streamers—no male creators, just thousands of girls live streaming, singing, chatting, playing instruments, and sometimes even doing nothing but talking about their lives. For broke students, it was a fantasy land they could never truly enter.

The room was modest: two bunk beds placed on opposite corners, messy sheets, instant noodle cups, and a pile of laundry in one corner.

Yang Kai climbed onto the upper bunk on his side and lay down, still feeling the weight of the black card in his pocket.

Maybe… I should test this thing out. Let's try it on the Girly App.

He took out his phone and downloaded the app.

He created a new account under the alias Xuan Yan—a fresh start, a new identity.

As he scrolled through the live streams, dozens of beautiful girls filled the screen: some were painting, some were talking to viewers, others were dancing or just showing off their rooms.

But Yang Kai couldn't decide which one to spend on.

Just then, his roommates' chatter caught his attention.

"Hey, Chu Chu is live!" said Hang Chen, adjusting his glasses and sitting up.

"What? Really? Wait, I'm joining too!" said Chen Zu, grabbing his earphones in excitement.

"Is she beautiful?" asked Bon Min, his eyes lighting up with curiosity.

The three of them huddled over their screens, giggling like schoolboys.

Intrigued, Yang Kai searched for Chu Chu's stream and tapped on it.

The screen loaded, and then he saw her.

A girl with flowing white hair sat gracefully in a well-lit room. She wore a simple white dress, looking like someone from a fairy tale. Her skin was porcelain smooth, her eyes calm and focused. A guitar rested in her arms as she gently strummed its strings and sang a soft, melancholic tune.

Her voice was like crystal water flowing over stones—clear, pure, and beautiful.

For a moment, Yang Kai forgot everything—the breakup, the card, the crowd mocking him. He simply stared at the girl on screen.

Suddenly, the peaceful air was shattered.

A user named Mr. Han sent thirty Small Rocket super chats—an expensive gift on the platform. Each one lit up the chat window like fireworks.

The message attached read:

"Hey girl, dance for me and I'll send you another 30 Small Rockets."

Yang Kai narrowed his eyes.

On screen, Chu Chu paused her song. She glanced at the comment and smiled politely.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Han," she said softly, "but I don't know how to dance."

There was no arrogance in her tone, no fear either. Just honest sincerity.

Yang Kai sat up slightly in his bed, one hand reaching into his pocket.

The black card was warm against his fingers.

Let's see what this card can really do.
