Opening his eyes, sunlight hit his pupils, instantly blinding him and making him unable to see anything for a few moments as he closed his eyes in pain once more.
'Agh… what the hell, I thought I closed the blinds before I fell asleep.' He thought to himself as his eyes slowly adapted, whilst he brought a hand over his eyes.
Finally being able to see, he removed his arm, and the sight before him froze him.
'What the fuck, where am I? This… this isn't my room.' He thought as he slowly got up from the unfamiliar bed, as soon as he stood up, directly in front of him, he saw it. A mirror.
The sight gave him another wave of shock, what stood before him wasn't his own body, wasn't himself.
It was a male figure, looking around sixteen years old, his face completely blurred, and not just that, right over his face was a black circle, and in the middle of it was a large blue question mark.
'What the fuck?' The boy thought as he lifted his hand to touch his face, he could touch it, it felt like soft skin, and there was a mouth, a nose, and eyes. However, the reflection in the mirror showed nothing of it.
It was at this moment, whilst he was still in shock from the overall situation, that something else appeared before him.

[ System Activation has begun! ]
'System activation…. No… no.. no no no no…. This can't be happening, just when I got my life back in order, I get fucking reincarnated!?' The boy thought to himself as he frantically shook his head in denial.
The boy's past name had been Adam. Adam had been a twenty-year-old who had just recently started going back to college after taking two gap years. He had started going to the gym, and after a few months, he had finally been able to, for the first time in his life, gain a healthy, regular body. He had even started earning money on the side from hustling, everything looked bright, the future finally clear. And now… now this.
'Fuuuckk!!' He screamed inside his own mind, however, he wasn't left to his own thoughts for long as another notification bell-like sound rang inside his mind.

Looking at the holographic blue panel in front of him, Adam didn't hesitate for long, he was simply too long gone to care anymore at this point. The shock was still coursing through his veins as he pressed the name part and thought of his own name and gender.

Looking at the options before him, Adam simply shook his head as he felt dread course through his body now, mixing together with the still lingering shock.
'Damn, fuck fuck, Pokémon. This is hell, so you're going to tell me I live in a world where Pokémon that can just randomly decide to crash out and destroy the entire planet exist? Just perfect.' Adam thought to himself as he pressed the Pokémon Master option.

Looking at the eighteen options before him, Adam felt a headache coming as he released a sigh and moved his hand towards his forehead. At that moment, however, his hand accidentally brushed past one option.

'No fuck! Wait, stop!' Adam thought, however, that the decision had already been made, and the screens in front of him quickly disappeared, only for a different one to appear.

Looking at the screens before him, Adam felt his headache grow even more as he released a soft sigh and gathered his breath, before looking at the large lottery wheel before him.
From what he could see, he noticed a lot of Pokémon with varying chances. It was clear that the better the Pokémon was, the rarer it was.
He could see that the chance of him getting something like Xerneas was a mere one in one hundred thousand.
'Fuck, what are the common ones? Thankfully, fairy types are overall good.' Adam thought as he looked at the more common chances.
As soon as he saw them, he felt a major headache forming.
