Synopsis
Credit of the book's cover is @bm_tol, Absolute goated artist, all their works are absolutely pleasing to the eyes. --- Inside Kivotos, thousands of schools exist, each unique to their own themes. Inside these schools, there are factions that are otherwise referred to as ‘Clubs’. Inside these clubs exist important ‘Characters’, each having their very own personalities and struggles… Gehenna Prefect Team, Abydos Foreclosure Task Force, Tea Party, Pandemonium Society, and many others that are more obscure than the last. Atsuko, the Hime of Arius District, would no longer speak using her voice after the person who had once loved her voice the most left this world. (Sign Language) ‘It was our mistake, Sat-chan. There’s no need for you to blame yourself for everything. We also take responsibility for the things that have happened in the past.’ Hoshino, the sole member of Abydos Student Council, would listlessly go through her high school life after the death of her senior. “Uehe~? Where’d you find that glove, Shiroko? I thought she burnt it herself…” Hina, the Chairman of Gehenna’s Prefect Team, never placed down her pen in fear of falling asleep, reminding herself of past memories. “I am not a workaholic. If there’s nothing to do, I would inevitably reminisce about the past. I fear the thoughts of living those nightmares again.” Nagisa, member of the Tea Party, Leader of the Fillius Faction, became paranoid of dangers after the betrayal of her previous faction, causing the death of her friend. “It’s not that I think you’re wrong, Sensei. But I’ve already experienced what would happen if these kinds of precautions aren't taken. It’s better to regret after failing to fight for something than regret losing it pointlessly.” Many other students across Kivotos have experienced it themselves, yet none had ever prevented them. Meanwhile… “Ahahaha! I knew it! High school students are so easy to manipulate!” As it turns out, all she needed to do was orchestrate some scenarios, speak of a few one-liners and then boom! Points come rushing back into her System! “I’m sorry, students! But you’re all my source of power now! Muahahaha!” There was almost no guilt present inside her heart as she mercilessly cut off a connection built upon love with the others. And the cause of it was... the Theatrical System! Using points, she could upgrade her specs! Using points, she could increase her knowledge! All in this world requires points! For that… -Don’t blame her for trying to extract the most amount of points from each of you! — Inspired by Vixen's Gambit Alternative Titles that I had in mind: 'Inside Kivotos, Traumatizing the Students!' 'Blue Archive: Students are Prone to Manipulation' 'Monetizing My Deaths in Kivotos' 'Blue Archive: Orchestrated Tragedy' 'Blue Archive: I Turned it into Red Archive?' For one reason or another, I scrapped those names. Some due to the fact that I don't like the name or it doesn't sound appealing enough.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Where All Tragedy Began

Crash!

He felt it, the impact of a hundred ton truck hitting him across the roadway. As he flew across the air, blood escaped his lips and his head swirled with unorganized thoughts.

The headaches kept on coming but the pain he felt coursing through his torso wasn't anything to be scoffed at.

And then,

Boom!

Dust cloud puddled the air as his back met the hard concrete, causing it to cave into itself.

With nothing to hold his body back, he fell forward face-first into the ground, his hand limping by his sides.

The sound of footsteps were barely audible as his mind was trying to regain focus. In the end, it failed and he closed his eyes in regret...

"...I'm not dead? Huh? This voice...?" The girl cupped her neck, as if the voice that had escaped her lips doesn't belong to her.

"What... Where am I?" Her eyes darted from the ceiling towards her her hands, free of bruises and soft as a jelly, something she's not used to seeing.

Pushing her arm down, she supported her body to sit. As she does, a lock of black hair entered her vision. Moving it away using her free hand, she realized that it was attached to her own head.

"My hair... isn't this long. What the hell?" Twirling it using her finger, she could feel a part of her hair being pulled as she kept twiddling with the lock of hair.

It was obvious that she's still not used to having such long hair on her person. But that wasn't all, while twirling the hair, she also saw the blue transparent panel that was floating in front of her face.

Pressing a finger towards the floating interface, it disappeared with a touch of a finger.

Now this, is obviously not natural.

She gently slicked her hair back to its original position and stood up. At this height, it was obviously much shorter than what she's used to.

It was also then that she noticed the unnatural lighting that seemed to come from above her head. She looked up, but she couldn't see anything, merely the ceiling.

But due to her head movement, the source of light also moved along. This caused her to come up with a theory that perhaps the source of light was attached to her head.

But as she flailed her hand above her head, she failed to grasp anything, merely air.

Perhaps, it wasn't attached to her head?

But then, how did it follow her head movement?

"...Is there a mirror nearby?" She looked around and noticed the small hand-sized mirror placed a top a small shelf.

Picking it up, she immediately looked inside the mirror. The previously rough male face was no longer present. Instead, a small and soft looking expression appeared in the reflection.

"This... isn't me? Wait, is it?" As the girl pondered, she began to pull on her own cheek. Feeling the pain, a quiet 'Ow' escaped her lips and she tilted the mirror upwards, towards the top of her head.

What she saw shocked her.

"A Ha-halo!? What in gods' name...!? Did I die and became and angel!?" It was no wonder she couldn't get a hold of the source of light floating above her head.

It was a fucking halo!?

Using the mirror as a reference, she tried to once again grab a hold onto the halo...

But her hand passed through the floating ring of white light above her head.

"It's intangible? What's the point?"

The halo was extremely plain, merely a single streak of white light in the shape of a circle with the core empty.

"Can other people see this? Well, since I'm dead, the other angels could probably see it..."

As the girl was scrutinizing the appearance of her new found aesthetic, the previously present blue panel reappeared, this time with new sentences written inside the holographic panel.

[Constitution has been changed to adapt to the brand new environment. It was found that the previous body of the host of the 'Theatrical System' isn't suited to be used inside this new world. For further inquiries, tap the panel twice. Tap the panel once to move to the next page.]

"..." The girl was speechless. But since she didn't understand the predicament she's in, the tapped her finger on the blue panel twice.

Immediately, the panel changed, forming new sentences.

[You have now arrived inside Kivotos, the place where firearms and public shooting is a daily occurrence. Due to the fact that no 'Male' could possess the defensive capability of a 'Halo', host's body has been changed to fit the criteria of a 'Student'. Tap twice for further inquires. Tap once to move to the next page.]

"Ah, Kivotos? Really?" As she was about to question her reality, she noticed that there's a 'Back' button written underneath the blue panel.

Curious, she tapped it, and the previous panel, featuring a sentence with an underlined word, 'Theatrical System'.

"Oh, this thing is... pretty user friendly." Almost instinctively, she pressed the underlined words.

[Theatrical System: The owner of this System can extract emotions from nearby 'Actors' in the form of positive or negative emotion. Emotions extracted will be converted into 'Points' which can be exchanged for physical or mental attributes which can be seen inside 'Shop'.]

Noticing more and more underlined words, she pressed each of them out of curiosity.

[Actors: Characters which held a significant impact on the storyline of 'Blue Archive'.]

[Points: Emotions that are extracted from 'Actors'. All emotions extracted will be interchanged into Points. The amount of points received depends on the weight of the emotions that are being extracted.]

[Shop: The place to use 'Points', everything you need can be found here.]

"Ah... They're not really that complicated, I think?" As the girl scratched her head using her index finger, she tapped the panel twice.

[Functions that are currently available to the host includes 'Simulation', 'Shop', 'Halo Upgrade'.]

[Simulation: Host can use this panel to simulate a life. More than simulating, the host can choose to enter the body of said simulation in order to control everything more vividly when compared to the regular plain simulation. Controlling the body is highly recommended as the normal simulation wouldn't take into account other 'Actors' emotion!]

[Halo Upgrade: As stated, Host's Halo could be upgraded. The specifics can be referred to in the 'Halo Upgrade' panel.]

Taking a few minutes to absorb everything she had just read, the girl tilted her head slightly and looked at the ceiling while pondering about everything.

'So... I'm in Kivotos and I have to start acting to get points?'

TLDR: Yup.

"...I'm in! You've found the perfect individual, Mister system!"

[Correction, the 'Theatrical System' doesn't contain a 'Gender'. It is merely a system used to guide the Host in their endeavor.]

"Whatever you say, Mister System!" With a big smile, the girl, gave the holographic panel an invisible hug and pat to the back.
