The streets were empty, half the lights were busted or burnt out. It was definitely the area you didn't want to be in once the sun went down. There weren't any sounds not even the hum of the wind. Nothing except a drunken man sitting on a stoop drinking a bottle of pure vodka. Through the distant shadowed alley way he sat there pouring the last drops into his mouth, dropping the bottle into shattering pieces and falling backwards into a drunken state of dizziness. All was still quiet the man making no sounds no movements, he lay there knowing this was the only home he had the only place he could come and indulge in his self-pity and staggering life.
Rustles' behind him through a few bits a trash startled him as he popped up in a lazy manner almost falling back down " hey who's over there." no response came from the spot where the trash laid sprawled out as if someone flew right through it. The man slouched back down passing the disturbance off as possibly a cat or rat more than likely rummaging through the garbage.
As he sat there looking through the dark shadowed alley he began to see the shadows moving together in a Smokey type way. He rubbed his eyes trying to see clearer thinking that more than likely the alcohol was playing tricks with his mind. But as he opened them again after a good long rub he seen a woman forming from within the shadows. She was a beautiful woman. She had long blond flowing hair like strands of gold that whipped around her face and hips in the shadowy breeze, thick full hips, almond shaped eyes that were the clearest blue he'd ever seen. She was wearing a tube type top that barely covered her belly and some ragged jeans. Around her belly button was an enormous tattoo that engulfed her belly button and went from hip to hip. It appeared as though it was tribal design's that had spikes on just about every line of the tattoo.
"Holy jeeze miss where did you come from? You shouldn't be here in this area it's a dangerous area!" The women didn't reply only looked at him with a slightly tilted head as if she were lost in a daydream. The man stood up and stumbled over her barely able to walk with his blood fully intoxicated from the full bottle of vodka he'd devoured only a few minutes ago. " mam really you should get out of here, are you ok did something happen to you." the man placed his hands on her shoulders and gave her a slight shake to see if maybe he could snap her out of what every trance she might have been in. The woman smiled an ear to ear smile "I'm sorry but my master is hungry." The man let go and stepped back with a look of confusion "miss you really should go home I don't know what kind of drugs you've been using or if you're drunk but this isn't the area for you to be in at this hour and by yourself go on get out of here."
The man turned to go back to his stoop and was knocked down to the ground so fast he lost his breath. "Oh my god, what are you, wha- what do you want. Please I don't have any money I don't have anything. Is this about the girl I was only trying to get her out of here for her safety I wasn't hitting on her or anything." "Didn't you hear her you drunken bum, she said her master is hungry." Their was a gust of wind and then a muffling dying scream.
