Chapter 2 - chapter one

Loud music blared throughout the bedroom loud enough more than likely to be heard throughout the entire house. Amelia lay there staring at her ceiling trying to gather the energy to even reach over and shut off her alarm clock. A few startling knocks came at her bedroom door " Amelia get up you lazy ass just because you have to get up for work doesn't mean you need to wake up the whole god damn house hold." "Chris don't talk to your sister like that and second of all is it absolutely necessary to swear every other word! Watch your mouth."

Chris was twenty six tall and lanky, he had tattoos and piercings everywhere you could and couldn't see, he didn't have much muscle but was still yet defined in all the areas he should. His hair was a dark black and cut, shaved and molded into a mohawk every day. He had deep blue eyes like Ameila's father. He had glasses that suited him very well but scarcely wore them since he got his contacts and around his mouth was a thick gotee that almost hid his mouth.

Ameila's father had died in a car accident when she was only a baby and her brother who was only a few years older and as much as Chris was still immature in so many ways he did his best to be the male figure Ameila needed in her life as well as her brother.

Amelia rolled over and looked at her alarm clock "6am why does the day have to start sooo dang early." she crawled out of bed and headed to her bathroom to have a shower. When she was done she cleared the smog off of her mirror to get a better look at herself. Amelia was short, she had hair that landed just at the mid shaft of her back. It was colorful with blue streaks, chunks of black and little pieces that popped out in between of a bright bright red. Her eyes were green but not typical green, they were a very dark green with little hints of a goldish yellow that sprouted out from her pupils throughout the green. She had a thicker body, slender with a little bit of chubbiness to her that she loved to call her love chubs. Amelia was just fresh twenty two years old, only having celebrated her birthday the month before a very large party that she constantly avoided remembering for all the horrible embarrassing things that had happened that night.

She awoke at 6 am every morning giving her enough time to do her makeup, straighten her hair and go through the 10 outfits it would take her to go through every morning to find the right one. her make up always consisted of the exact same colors, 3 different shades of purple each one shade darker than the other, a nice thick coat of eyeliner and just a touch of mascara considering her eye lashes were so very long if she over did it, they would look almost fake. Amelia packed her bag, checked her cell phone to see if she had any messages and popped everything into her bag. "Extra pack of smokes, check! Cell phone, check! Wallet, check!" she continued scrimmaging through her purse double checking all she needed as she walked down stairs towards her kitchen.

The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the whole house "mm mom you read my mind coffee coffee coffee!" Ameila's mother Nadia Summerston stood over the stove cooking. "Amelia don't you think you should at least have some breakfast before you drink a cup of coffee. You drink at least 5 cups a day and do hardly any eating." Amelia's mom pointed to a plate of pancakes stacked up on the table with a pleading look. Amelia smiled and looked from the pancakes to the coffee and back and lastly at her mom. "honestly mom I'm not hungry and when I am I eat, it's not like I'm starving myself I do eat when I feel like it and right now I'm not hungry I just want my coffee before work." her mom sighed as she handed Amelia her coffee and watched her strut out the door.

Chris most definitely turned out looking like his father but Ameila looked just like her mother, they both had jet black hair that was lengthy and thick, a rare set of beautiful green eyes and thick full lips. They were both short and had thicker builds then the average women these days, which always seemed to consist of skinny anorrexic girls who tried deathly hard to fit in the lowest single digit clothing they could manage. But in Ameila's mind her and her mother had the right figure every woman should have, healthy full figured, hour glass shapes.

Amelia only worked a few blocks from home at reader's fantasy, one of the largest book stores in the small city of Brooksmore. It was actually quite a small town it really only had one of everything. But the book store was Amelia's favorite place growing up, as she would sit and hide in the book lanes reading the books she loved some over and over again. It was the perfect place to work, she could read when no one was in there and she knew more than her fair share of books and every inch of the store. she did have a fairly beaten up blue 1997 blazer, but she preferred to walk most places since the town was so small and it was easier than the roaring sound that came from her truck when she drove it.

On her walk today the weather was beautiful like every other day that week only the sun seemed to be shining its brightest. As Amelia came to the town square the entire area seemed to be in an up roar, there was fire trucks, ambulance, cops everywhere and 3 times the amount of people that would normally be in the square at this hour in the morning.
