Chapter 1 - I, Mu Yang, Dimensional Merchant

Night. A cool breeze swept through the city, and raindrops fell at an angle.

The streetlights on the remote street were dim, struggling to dispel the darkness and illuminate the road for pedestrians in the drizzle. The tall buildings on both sides stood like silent giants in the darkness, with a few illuminated windows resembling the eyes of giants, quietly gazing into the distance. Occasionally, a car passed by, bringing a bit of noise, but after a moment, it returned to silence, with only the whistling wind and the sound of rain.

"What are you looking at?"

Ethan snapped back to reality at the question, withdrawing his gaze from the window and instead looking up at the young man who was placing a cup of tea in front of him.

"Nothing, just looking at the night view." Ethan took the teacup and took a sip, moistening his chapped lips.

"Night view?" Mu Yang tilted his head and looked at the glass window, a little puzzled by the darkness outside.

If it were a night view of a magnificent city of light, constructed with countless flashing lights, it wouldn't be strange to be attracted to it and gaze at it for a long time.

But the scene outside the window was just like the night in the small city where Mu Yang lived before he transmigrated. There were no dazzling lights, no bustling night market, only dim lights and quiet streets, nothing attractive at all.

"If you were locked in a damp, dark cave for several months, you would also have a pair of eyes that are good at finding beauty, just like me."

Ethan put the teacup on the table and shrugged.

Mu Yang pinched his chin, recalling that he used to stay home for months without going out. When he did go out...it seemed he hadn't found anything beautiful in those familiar streets, only a little more unfamiliarity.

Shaking his head, Mu Yang gave up on continuing to think. People are different, you can't understand the thoughts of others.

Just like others couldn't, like him, download a game cheat on the internet, but instead downloaded a Shop System.

The shop was divided into two parts. First, the regular shop, which was always available. Inside, all kinds of items were available, from instant noodles and sausages to battleships and Gundams... Naturally, the more valuable the item, the higher the value, and more 'Money' was needed to exchange it.

The so-called 'Money' was the currency of the Shop System. Anything of value could be exchanged for 'Money' in the Shop System, such as knowledge, lifespan, gold and silver...

Secondly, there's the Discount Shop. It refreshes at midnight every day, offering ten items each time. These include discounted goods, second-hand items, defective products, and inferior goods…

The crucial point is that discounted goods don't appear every time; it's entirely random.

Mu Yang, who had already been lucky enough to get the system, didn't expect his luck to continue. So, he decided to become a Dimensional Merchant, a middleman selling goods to make a profit, and travel around doing what he wanted.

Therefore, Mu Yang used the system's newbie benefits, which was the system's Money converted from his bank account at a 1:1 ratio. He first bought a doll, dripped a drop of his blood into it to make it his doppelganger, then instilled a bunch of knowledge, memories, and a mark to contact him into the doppelganger's mind. After instructing it to take care of his family, Mu Yang exchanged for a Dimensional Ticket and went to another world.

The next day, Mu Yang, now the owner of the Dimensional Shop, officially received his first customer.

Ethan, a cultured man who was currently hammering metal in a cave with Tony Stark.

"So… have your eyes, which are good at spotting beauty, chosen the items you want to buy?"

In response to Mu Yang's question, Ethan's left cheek twitched. He made a gesture in the air with his left hand, and a translucent screen drifted over from the corner.

Holographic projection. Mu Yang exchanged it from the Shop, and he imported some of the Shop's merchandise information, which he had slightly manipulated the prices of.

Pointing at the screen, Ethan looked pained. "This is too expensive... And I don't even know what to exchange for to help me escape this predicament."

Looking at the descriptions of many of the goods on the holographic projection screen, it was obvious that they could help him escape the danger, but when he saw the prices, he, being poor, immediately felt dizzy.

Looking at the cheaper goods, they also seemed quite powerful, but he didn't feel that Ethan could escape successfully.

Hearing Ethan's words, Mu Yang nodded slightly, the corners of his mouth curling up. "Then... let this shopkeeper give you some advice~~"

As a qualified merchant, it was necessary to solve problems for customers.

Mu Yang pushed his left hand forward, and the holographic projection screen first dissolved into blue light spots, then gradually dissipated into nothingness.

"Firstly..."

Mu Yang raised his right index finger. "You want to pay me to take action, but considering you're broke, you definitely can't afford it."

Ethan was speechless. Don't be so blunt! If you know, then don't say it!

"Secondly..."

Mu Yang dragged over a holographic projection screen, did a few simple operations to split it into several parts, and pushed it in front of Ethan, pointing at it.

"Experience Cards. Within a certain time limit, you gain all the power and combat experience of a certain strong individual."

"...War Machine. Equipped with a large number of weapon systems in its Iron Man suit, it can defend against a certain degree of firepower. It's also installed with an intelligent assist system to aid in combat. Even someone without experience can easily wipe out a bandit hideout with the help of the intelligent system."

"...Sengoku Driver. Used with Lockseed, you can transform into a Kamen Rider, a warrior with power far exceeding that of ordinary people..."

"...Parasite Creature. Symbiotic with the host..."

Mu Yang listed several options in one breath, then lowered his head to look at Ethan, waiting for his response. Ethan was currently focused on the screen, staring at the weapon-covered iron man. It looked vaguely familiar, as if he'd seen it somewhere before, especially the mask…

Noticing Ethan's expression, Mu Yang waved his hand, dismissing the other projection screens, leaving only the 'War Machine' display.

"You have good taste, customer. War Machine is indeed very suitable for your current situation. It's all-around, combining offense and defense, with an intelligent system to assist in combat. It can solve your inexperience issues, and the price isn't high, within your budget…"

Listening to Mu Yang, Ethan pondered for a few seconds, then followed his gut.

"…Then that one."

"Excellent." Mu Yang snapped his fingers. "Payment received. Please take your goods."

After copying a portion of the knowledge in Ethan's mind, Mu Yang handed him two cards, one black and one gray. The black card had a black background with silver edges, engraved with mysterious patterns. The gray card displayed an image of a battered robot, its scarred body seeming to have endured thousands of battles, exuding a fierce and heroic aura.

Ethan, taking the cards, was taken aback, staring at their surfaces.

Mu Yang coughed, bringing Ethan back to reality. "The black card is your identification. It's the key to re-entering the shop. The gray card is the War Machine you bought. To use it, say 'Unseal,' and the card will transform into its physical form, but it can't revert back into a card after that."
