Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Time Travel

At a Vought Group underground laboratory, alarms blared continuously. Red warning lights flickered, creating a tense and solemn atmosphere. Armed personnel rushed about, carrying out urgent tasks. In front of an incinerator, two people in white coats were arguing fiercely.

"Frank, what exactly is going on with you?" one of them asked sternly.

"I was just following the original plan to increase the temperature and test John's heat resistance," Frank replied calmly.

"But John is gone now! He's the only naturally born superhuman; if we don't find him, we're all screwed!" the other person shouted anxiously.

Meanwhile, on another Earth, a person was on their way to work when they suddenly fell into a wormhole. Inside the wormhole, the unlucky person collided with John, like being churned in a washing machine.

Two bodies and two souls, under the influence of something unknown, merged, eventually forming a newborn baby, just one month old.

A wormhole appeared on a farm in Texas, United States, causing a small earthquake.

Thud!

The pickup truck sped along the bumpy dirt road. The radio in the truck was broadcasting news of a small earthquake that had occurred somewhere in Texas. Lucas Starr, who had pulled over, wrinkled his chubby face.

He saw that his barn had been destroyed by this sudden natural disaster. His wife, Dominique, seeing her husband's furrowed brow, softly comforted him, "It's okay, Lucas. Even though our barn is gone, the chickens, sheep, and cows are all fine."

"I'm just worried..." But Lucas's words were cut short by a crying sound. Both of them looked towards the sound and saw a baby wrapped in a tattered blanket.

"Ah! Oh my god?"

Dominique shrieked, her face full of disbelief.

Lucas quickly scanned the surroundings, then walked to the baby and carefully picked him up.

On the other side, his wife Dominique took the baby from the blanket and said to Lucas, "This is a gift from God, Lucas. This must be a gift from God to us."

But Lucas didn't agree. He said, "Maybe he was just lost by his clumsy parents." After saying this, he seemed to be amused by his own foolishness and shook his head with a bitter smile.

Because after the earthquake, finding a child, the only possibility was that this child had been abandoned by his parents.

The one being held, of course, was our transmigrator. He was on the verge of collapse, overwhelmed by the memories carried by John's soul. The memories were filled with the pain of being put into the incinerator, begging Frank to let him out, while Frank seemed not to hear, engrossed in a game of throwing paper balls into the trash can.

There were also the psychological suggestions made to John by the top Doctor hired by Vought Company, the psychological trauma caused by Marty mocking him for the adolescent problems that came with his rapid physical growth, and the bad room and a tattered blanket in his memory.

"I want to call him John," Lucas said to his wife. "That's a good name," Dominique agreed.

So, this baby was named John.

Time flies like an arrow.

John was already 5 years old, but his body was like that of a 9-year-old boy.

John and Lucas were anxiously waiting outside the delivery room.

"Will Mom give birth to a younger sister for me?" John asked Lucas. He didn't want anyone to share his parents' love.

Lucas came back to his senses, hesitated, and swallowed, a hint of eagerness in his voice as he said, "A younger brother isn't so bad, is it?" But this wasn't the answer John wanted.

John muttered softly, "But a younger brother will..." John stopped short. "A younger brother will what?" Lucas asked casually.

"No, Dad, it's nothing," John quickly prevaricated, but Lucas didn't pay attention, because he was about to have a true child of his own tonight.

A Doctor wearing a mask came out and said to Lucas, "It's a boy. The mother is fine."

Lucas excitedly jumped up and fiercely punched the air.

This scene was incredibly jarring in John's eyes. His eyes turned red, blood rushed to his head, and he said to Lucas, "I'm going to the restroom." Lucas just waved his hand casually, not paying attention, deeply immersed in the joy of having a biological son.

John decided to go to the restroom to see if his other selves had any other opinions. He wanted to talk to someone now.

In the restroom, John splashed some Water on his face, then punched the mirror. The mirror instantly shattered into pieces. John looked at the mirror, and on the largest fragments, there were several versions of himself with different expressions.

One John, with a very evil and charming expression, said to John, "You're crying like a weakling." A timid John said, "You're about to have a younger brother, you must take responsibility." This made John feel very helpless.

He really didn't want to bother with them, but he had no one else to confide in.

Suddenly, the John on the largest fragment said, "It's time to overcome this need for love, to cure it once and for all. Unless you transcend humanity, you will never become your true self."

"Then how should I do that?" John asked. The John at the very top said, "Overcome the psychological barriers Vought set for us."

John nodded speechlessly, because this was a side effect of the transmigration. At the moment of transmigration, the transmigrator and Azu merged.

This made John constantly unable to distinguish whether he, the transmigrator, had occupied Azu's body, or if Azu had gained the transmigrator's memories.

Moreover, the original Azu had been subjected to numerous psychological barriers set by Vought's Doctors since childhood. Since he was now using Azu's body, some problems simply couldn't be avoided.

However, since he had taken over someone else's body, he had to accept the flaws of that body. After all, he wasn't the original Master.

Smallville High School.

As the dance approached, the restless teenage hormones of the high school students also became unruly.

This could be felt from the increasing number of couples at the school gate and the parked private cars.

John, with his backpack on, walked out of the school gate expressionlessly.

He hadn't found a dance partner yet, not because no girls invited him, but because he didn't like that type. As the saying goes, women are like fine wine; the longer they age, the more mellow they become.

Because he was influenced by Homelander, John naturally preferred slightly older women, but the mature and intellectual kind, not old grandmas.

(That is, between 20 and 35 years old, of course, if they are well-maintained, that's another matter.)

"Who should I take to the dance?" John thought. Suddenly, a young man's words next to him interrupted John's thoughts.

The young man quickly stepped forward and put his arm around John's shoulder, saying, "Hey, John, you're not still worrying about the dance, are you?"

"Aeg, I just don't have anyone in mind," John said to Aeg Yang.

As they spoke, a Chevrolet drove by. Aeg opened the door, got in, and said with a hint of mockery, "If you really can't find anyone, you can ask your mom to be your dance partner, haha." After he said that, the woman in the car drove Aeg away into the distance.

John silently deactivated his X-ray vision and stood still. John immediately decided on his dance partner.

He thought to himself, "That's really good. I didn't expect Aeg to have such a beautiful mother. She's so well-preserved, almost like a university student." He waited until the car was beyond the range of his super vision.

He silently opened his backpack, took out a carton of milk, and walked towards the school bus, drinking as he went.

"Hey! John! The school bus is about to leave, why are you still walking so slowly?"

On the school bus, John's classmate leaned out of the window and shouted at him.

"Sorry, I'm coming!"

John quickly rushed towards the school bus, and under the impatient gaze of the driver, he got on the school bus at the last minute.

The moment his feet stepped into the school bus, he was distracted by thoughts of Aeg's mother and didn't see someone stick out a foot.

This caused John to nearly trip, eliciting bursts of laughter from the other high school students on the bus.

The moment he heard the laughter, John's eyes suddenly turned red, then returned to blue, as if nothing had happened.

"Damn it, if this weren't Marvel and not The Boys, I would have killed you all with my Cyclops," John thought fiercely to himself.

Because this was Marvel, as Homelander, he couldn't make any waves in the deep waters of Marvel.

However, his mental symptoms were almost better, at least they weren't as aggressive, probably. John thought.

Just as John sat down, a harsh voice rang out beside him.

"Hey! John, can I ask you a question?"

Some ill-intentioned Black high school students sitting in front suddenly spoke to John.

"What is it?" John, who was looking at his phone, raised his head in confusion.

"Why do your clothes smell like chicken poop every day? Don't you wash your clothes?"

The Black high school student with dreadlocks, holding a piece of fried chicken in one hand, said to John with an ill-intentioned look on his face.

As soon as he finished speaking, most of the students in the bus burst into laughter.

"John's clothes are so rustic, and they smell like chicken poop, it's because he lives in a chicken coop. From now on, I'll call you Chicken Boy."

The surrounding students kept jeering, and their words became increasingly nasty.

Suddenly, John stood up and walked towards the Black high school student.

"Do you have the guts to say that again?" John said, staring into the Black student's eyes.

The Black student seemed to not take it seriously and said with a smile, "You country bumpkin, you..."

Suddenly, two lasers shot out from John's eyes, directly piercing through the Black student's head.

The sudden scene stunned everyone in the car, followed by deafening screams.

John, however, looked at the driver. He knew he had exposed his abilities.

"For my stable development, I can't leave any evidence. Let me send you on your way," John calculated silently in his mind.

In an instant, the driver, who was driving the school bus across the bridge, had his neck suddenly broken by something. Immediately after, the school bus, burning, crashed off the bridge.

With a bang, the school bus exploded in the air.

Then the school bus slammed violently into the Water.

John, however, flew above the Water, calmly searching with his X-ray vision. After ensuring that no one survived, he crossed his arms and flew away with a whoosh.
