Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

A deafening crash echoed through the forest clearing.

Boom!

Naruto's body flew like a ragdoll, slamming into the rock wall with bone-jarring force. Dust exploded from the impact point, and debris scattered across the training ground like shrapnel.

Jiraiya clenched his teeth as he watched his student crumple to the ground. His white mane fluttered in the wind, sweat dripping down his temple, and blood seeped from the corners of his mouth.

"Damn it," he muttered, his voice rough with frustration and pain. "I pushed him too far... He wasn't ready for this."

Jiraiya had hoped Naruto could begin to draw on the Nine-Tails' chakra, master it, and control it. But the moment the fourth tail emerged, all control was lost. Naruto didn't just tap into the Kyuubi's power—he was swallowed by it.

Jiraiya glanced down at his injuries. Several ribs were shattered, his breathing shallow and painful. The red shroud cloaking Naruto had turned feral, primal—no longer a source of power, but of devastation.

"He's going berserk… If he sprouts another tail—"

His thought was cut short by a pulse of malevolent chakra that made the ground tremble. Jiraiya's eyes widened in alarm.

"Shit... He's not done yet."

But deep within Naruto, beyond the flesh and chakra, beyond the chaos of the battlefield, something else was happening.

Inside the Seal.

A dark corridor stretched into infinity, humid and echoing with the slow drip of water. Red mist swirled at ankle level. At the far end, the massive iron bars of a cage loomed like a prison gate. A talisman, etched with the kanji for "seal" (封), sat fixed at its center.

Naruto floated unconscious in the ankle-deep water, his body limp, eyes shut.

Beyond the bars, two burning red eyes watched him with feral anticipation.

"Yes… That's it," the Nine-Tails growled, its deep voice reverberating through the chamber like thunder. "Hate them. Hate everything. Let that hatred grow!"

The beast's chakra surged again, flooding into Naruto's body, eroding his consciousness with corrosive malice. Kyuubi's plan was simple: drown the boy's mind, and when his soul faded, seize control. Once the seal was weakened, escape would follow.

And yet—something went wrong.

A pulse rippled through the chamber, like a stone dropped in still water. The Kyuubi's eyes narrowed.

"…What?"

Naruto's limp body twitched, then stirred. But when his eyes opened, something was different.

They weren't Naruto's eyes anymore.

"What the hell is this…?"

The Kyuubi's snarl faltered as it felt a foreign presence. The soul before him was not Uzumaki Naruto.

"You... You're not him," the fox growled. "Who are you?!"

The boy blinked, glancing around in confusion.

"Where… am I?" he murmured aloud, voice echoing faintly. "Why am I... soaking wet?"

He stared down at his hands, then at the water beneath him. Panic gave way to realization as memories began to rush in—not Naruto's memories, but his own.

A life on another world.

A past that felt like a dream now—dead-end jobs, anime marathons, the frustrations of mediocrity, and a deep love for a certain fictional universe.

Naruto.

"Wait," he whispered. "No way… I—I'm inside Naruto?"

The rush of memories hit harder this time—Naruto's memories. Faces blurred with emotion: Iruka's gentle concern, Sasuke's cold eyes, Sakura's harsh words, the loneliness… the crushing loneliness.

And the pain. So much pain.

The boy clenched his fists, his breath ragged.

"…So this is what you went through," he whispered, voice tight. "Naruto…"

He wasn't sure how he had gotten here—only that this wasn't a dream. He had become Naruto. The real Uzumaki Naruto—his soul completely overwritten.

"But I'm not that Naruto anymore," he said aloud, voice growing stronger. "I'm someone else now. Someone who knows how this world works."

He grinned.

"And I'm going to change everything."

The Kyuubi, still watching warily, growled, "You dare take that boy's body? You think you can stand against me?"

But the boy didn't answer. Instead, he focused inward.

That chakra—Kyuubi's chakra—was still flowing into him. Not just chakra, but fragments of the fox's consciousness, the same that had been trying to consume Naruto's mind. But now, it was being drawn in reverse.

The reincarnated soul—stronger, unclouded, determined—was devouring the Kyuubi's influence instead.

"What… what are you doing?" the Kyuubi snarled. "Stop! That's my will! You—!"

The boy exhaled slowly. He felt the sensation like biting into a live wire—raw, burning power that surged through his spiritual core. He could see it now: the Nine-Tails' mind, vast and ancient, being absorbed piece by piece.

"I don't know how this is happening," he admitted, "but if it means survival—if it means strength—I'll take it."

"No! You wretched little—!"

The Kyuubi's voice became distorted, ragged with fear. Its will—its identity—was slipping.

In the physical world, the crimson shroud around Naruto thickened and twisted. The fourth tail became five… then six.

Jiraiya stared, aghast.

"Six… Six tails already?!"

He could barely believe what he was seeing. The chakra cloak hardened, forming jagged bones over the boy's body—an exoskeleton of death. The air sizzled with heat and hatred.

"This isn't just the Nine-Tails running wild anymore," Jiraiya said hoarsely. "Something's different."

As a seventh tail began to form, Jiraiya's hands flew into a rapid sequence of seals. He winced from the pain in his chest but didn't hesitate.

"Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld!"

The ground beneath Naruto liquefied, turning into a thick, sucking mire. The demonic figure sank into it, slowed, restrained.

It was a temporary fix—but it was all he had.

Back in the seal, the Nine-Tails let out one last roar.

"You will regret this, thief. I don't know who you are, but I swear… I will destroy you!"

The boy stared at the fading beast with a calm that masked the storm brewing inside him.

"I'm sure you'll try," he said coldly. "But next time, you'll know whose body you're in."

With that, the last remnants of the Kyuubi's consciousness were pulled into the void, devoured by the soul that now called itself Naruto Uzumaki.

And then… silence.

The reincarnated boy stood there, alone in the seal, power humming beneath his skin. For the first time, he felt it—the immense, almost terrifying weight of the Nine-Tails' chakra now completely under his control. Not sealed. Not borrowed. His.

He threw his head back and laughed—a wild, unrestrained laugh that echoed through the space.

"HAHAHAHA!"

"This world... this broken world of ninja and monsters… You're not ready for me."

He clenched his fists and looked up toward the surface, where Jiraiya still fought to restrain him.

"Let's see what happens when the rules are rewritten."
