Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Within the depths of Naruto's subconscious, the sealed space rippled like disturbed water. The walls, lined with shadows and mist, stretched toward infinity, ending only at the towering iron gate where the Nine-Tails had been imprisoned for so long.

Naruto stood at the threshold, where silence pressed in like a weight. His golden hair was still damp from the illusionary waters that pooled around his feet. The air thrummed with power—raw, ancient, and violent.

On the other side of the gate, the Nine-Tails sat calmly, one massive paw lazily crossing the other. Its eyes—burning red slits—locked onto Naruto's with an unreadable expression.

Then, strangely… the beast smiled.

And Naruto smiled back.

It was surreal—like looking into a mirror that distorted time and nature—two beings, bound by chakra, by fate, by blood and soul. Yet now, both shared something even deeper.

One body. Two spirits.

One man. One beast.

And they were both him.

The sensation was still bizarre, even for someone with the memories of a previous life. The Nine-Tails no longer felt entirely foreign, nor adversarial. It was like flexing a second set of limbs… monstrous limbs.

Naruto raised a hand, golden chakra dancing across his skin like threads of sunlight.

"Time to test this power," he murmured.

The Kyuubi's chakra responded instantly, surging forward like a tidal wave and wrapping around Naruto's body. It didn't claw or burn—it flowed into him as naturally as breath. The oppressive red mist turned golden, radiant, alive.

Symbols formed along his skin in intricate patterns of glowing script. The atmosphere shimmered with divine heat.

This was not the unstable four-tailed state. Not the incomplete cloak.

This was Nine Tails Baryon Mode—in its full glory.

A golden mantle of chakra wrapped his body, flickering with life and power. He could feel it surging through his muscles, rushing through his mind, and pooling in his core like a sun. His feet barely touched the water below.

Naruto breathed in deeply.

"So this is what it feels like..."

The sensation was addictive. Power radiated from every pore in his body. Even the seal no longer felt like a prison—it felt like an extension of his will.

But he wasn't done.

This was only the beginning.

The golden glow faded as he exhaled, drawing back the chakra. His eyes, once glowing, returned to a calm blue.

He had studied every scene from the original Naruto timeline in his past life. He knew—beyond Nine Lamas Mode—there existed another form. A power far more unstable… and far more devastating.

It was time to test that.

He raised his hands and focused.

"Condense."

At his command, the space trembled.

A deep rumble echoed through the sealed dimension. Ripples spread from his feet as dense chakra began to compress around him—not golden, but darker, heavier, deeper. A storm of atomic pressure began to build.

Kyuubi, now fully fused with his spirit, responded with an instinctual roar.

The air grew thick. Cracks appeared in the walls of the seal. The very fabric of the space began to tear.

"Impossible," Naruto muttered. "This shouldn't be happening… not so soon."

But it was. The moment Jiraiya had tampered with the seal earlier to help Naruto access the Nine-Tails' power, it had weakened the structure just enough. And now, with Naruto pushing into Nine-Tailed Chakra Mode, the entire realm threatened to collapse.

Outside, Jiraiya's expression turned from worry to terror.

He could feel the Nine-Tails' chakra spiking again ar beyond the seven-tails state, far beyond anything he had ever encountered.

"No… this is wrong. This isn't the same power as before!" he gasped.

"This… this isn't just chakra. This is destruction incarnate!"

He struggled to his feet, clutching his injured side. "Minato, forgive me. If I don't make it through this… I'll see you in the afterlife."

Inside the seal, Naruto stood at the heart of the storm.

Red marks now glowed along his skin, overlapping the golden patterns like sigils of divine wrath. Massive tails of chakra flared behind him, twisting, roaring, alive. Each one carried the weight of extinction.

This wasn't just power.

It was a weaponized catastrophe.

With a single thought, he gathered the dense energy into his fists. The sealed cage groaned under the pressure. Then he stepped forward.

He pulled his arm back.

And punched.

BOOM.

The impact shattered the center of the iron gate. The spiral seal at its core exploded in a vortex of raw chakra. The vibration echoed through the dimension like a bell tolling the end of an era.

Cracks spread outward. The floor split. The walls wept light.

And then—collapse.

The entire sealed space ruptured.

Naruto stepped through the debris of the shattered gate, calm and collected. His body shimmered, switching from Heavy Particle Mode back into Nine-Tail Baryon Mode. His golden aura pulsed like a steady heartbeat.

But he didn't celebrate.

Because something else stirred in the void.

Two forms began to materialize—flickering, ethereal chakra bodies. Familiar figures.

A man and a woman.

Naruto's eyes narrowed. He recognized them immediately.

Namikaze Minato.

Uzumaki Kushina.

His—Naruto's—parents.

"...I completely forgot about them," he muttered.

They were just beginning to regain coherence, memories forming behind confused eyes. Chakra remnants programmed into the seal by Minato himself meant to protect and guide the real Naruto when the time came.

But the time had changed. The person had changed.

And he had no intention of letting them interfere.

Before their voices could even form, before Kushina could offer her tearful apology or Minato could smile warmly—two massive golden claws lashed forward and seized their bodies.

Crack.

Their incomplete chakra constructs shattered instantly.

They never even had a chance to speak.

What remained of their chakra hovered as two glowing orbs—weak, unstable, flickering with the memories they had carried.

Naruto stepped forward, no remorse in his eyes.

He reached out and absorbed them.

Light flowed into his chest—two streams of knowledge and bloodline.

He saw glimpses of Kushina's life: her sealing techniques, her temper, the legacy of the Uzumaki clan. And then Minato—genius, sacrifice, the Flying Thunder God, the Rasengan, the burden of a father who had no choice.

Naruto's breath hitched slightly, not with guilt… but with awe.

"These memories… These techniques…"

He could feel the strain of his bloodline rejecting some of the information—he wasn't a pure-blooded Uzumaki, not truly. But enough was accepted.

He now held the fragments of two of the most powerful shinobi in Konoha's history.

And he wasn't done yet.

He turned back toward the exit of the hall. The world outside trembled with dread. Jiraiya waited—injured, desperate.

Naruto's eyes glowed gold.

"So this is what it means to rewrite fate."

He stepped forward.

And the cage behind him crumbled into nothing.
