At the center of it all stood a single towering tree, reaching toward the heavens like it was holding up the sky itself.
Suspended in the air above were three figures in white coats, floating silently. All of them looked... strange.
One woman held a tin staff, a black sphere drifting behind her back. Another had two long rabbit ears atop her head, a third eye shining on her forehead, and snow-colored hair that flowed longer than her entire body.
Where... is this?
Who are they?
Uchiha ying only remembered getting home from class at the Leaf Ninja Academy, taking a quick nap—
And then somehow ending up here.

A line of text popped into his mind without warning. ying instinctively tensed.

The three floating figures hadn't moved an inch. Even the wind had stopped, like time itself had hit pause.

"I don't know," ying replied, blinking. "But it might really be a dream."

He glanced at Naruto and Sasuke. In class, they were always trouble—loud, messy, unpredictable. Not much different from now.

Just one casual exchange between the three and the beast left the battlefield riddled with fresh craters.
Naruto, halfway into his heroic charge, stopped dead and collapsed to the ground.
"H-Holy crap... monsters... they're monsters... this is definitely a dream!"
"Don't run around like an idiot!" Ying barked. "Find cover!"
He wanted to scream at Naruto: "You'll be able to fight them in the future!" But held his tongue.
Then a massive shadow darkened the sky.
A meteor?
No... Planetary Devastation.
The signature technique of the Six Paths Sage himself.
And then—
*Shing!*
Black orbs, glowing with lethal power, shot past ying's ear.
Truth-Seeking Balls!
BOOM!!!
A blinding explosion consumed everything.
ying didn't even get the chance to say his last words before darkness swallowed him.
Naruto. Sasuke. All of them—reduced to dust in the blink of an eye.

It's really starting to feel like a game...

He stared at them. The fragments seemed to represent Naruto and Sasuke.
