...Is this a dream?

Hinata stood still, staring at her grown arms, her long legs, her now adult-like body. She reached up and touched her cheek.

Her face... her body—how had they matured like this?

She wasn't just taller. Her once-short hair now flowed down to her waist.

When she looked down, she couldn't even see her feet anymore. Her chest was heavy. Her shoulders ached.

It was... a strange dream.

And this place—wasn't this the Hyuga clan's training ground?

Wooden dummies, open dirt practice fields—she instinctively slid into the Eight Trigrams Gentle Fist and began training.

Until—

*Knock knock.*

A voice called softly from outside the wooden gate.

——

"Is that... baby Hinata?"

Uchiha Ying pushed the courtyard gate open and saw her—Hinata, quietly striking a wooden post with perfect form.

But this wasn't the girl from class.

No—this Hinata was grown. Physically. Completely.

Fresh-faced youth, mature curves, innocent grace—it was all there, layered in one absurdly beautiful form.

Compared to Tsunade's overly bold beauty, the girl before him felt... honest. Real.

"She's getting more beautiful the older she gets... especially those crystal-clear eyes."

He swallowed. And just for a moment, he wondered—could this NPC become real?

Could the system... be populating new locations? Was the Hyuga district next?

If more Leaf Village people started appearing... was it possible to revive the Uchiha clan here?

He shook off the thought and walked toward her.

Better to check first—whether she was just another NPC hanger... or something else.

——

*Sh-Shadow... Shadow-kun?!*

Hinata's brain short-circuited. He was in her dream. Looking at her. Calling her...

"Baby?!"

And then—he complimented her eyes.

Even if it was just a dream—wasn't this way too shameless?

*But… maybe… I did want this...*

To be called baby.

To have her eyes praised—the very ones so many looked at with fear or pity.

She blushed violently, her fingers curling inward.

She wanted to cover her face—but she couldn't even control her body properly.

"This is the Hyuga training grounds. Wanna spar?"

What was supposed to be a simple "hello" ended up as a challenge.

Her mouth moved without her.

Her body flowed forward into a stance. Gentle Fist form. Byakugan: activated.

——

*Oh? I got a prompt?*

Ying narrowed his eyes.

That confirmed it—another hanger NPC.

But one who could hold conversation. Display full Hyuga technique. Show complex emotional expressions.

He smirked and selected "Yes."

"So this is the result of absorbing her fragments… guess I picked up Gentle Fist after all."

Byakugan: active.

No change to appearance—but a ripple of chakra stirred around his form, invisible but palpable.

Hinata's breath caught.

*This really is just a dream.*

She'd spent the day hoping he would notice her.

She'd imagined him overpowering her. Taking the lead. Holding her down.

And now she was dreaming it... already.

Her body lunged into motion before her mind could process it.

——

*She's fast.*

Much faster than the shy Hinata he used to spar with.

But he was different now, too.

Even without mastering her clan's style, he kept up. Matched her.

Though her strikes were swift, they were hesitant—held back, soft.

She was too gentle.

*Too soft.*

He adapted. Each movement, each angle—he mirrored her perfectly.

Until—

*Eight Trigrams: Thirty-Two Palms!*

The strikes rained down—sharper, cleaner, faster than hers.

She tried to defend, but after just a few hits, she staggered.

Her arms flung open.

Her chest, exposed. Her core unguarded.

*Pak pak pak pak—*

Each palm strike slammed against her.

Her soft, elastic body shook and trembled under the impact, until finally—

She collapsed.

——

*Too weak.*

In her haze, Hinata saw his silhouette.

Not Ying. Her father.

That same cold, disappointed stare.

It stabbed through her chest like a needle.

But this time... it hurt more.

*I… I don't want Shadow-kun to see me like this.*

*No matter what… I won't show this side of myself in front of him.*

She gritted her teeth, trembling, and forced herself to her feet.

She still remembered her father's techniques.

And now, with this stronger body... she could mimic them.

*I'll use them. I'll prove myself to him.*

If he used her clan's techniques, then she'd use her father's.

——

Ying took a step forward.

He was planning to help her up, maybe even inspect her for damage—after all, he'd hit some delicate places quite a few times just now.

But—

She got up on her own.

Byakugan still open. Gentle Fist reset.

Covered in sweat. Chest heaving. But ready.

"…Even if she's an NPC, her willpower is real."

Ying exhaled slowly.

*This dream. This hanger... is too good.*

Not only for gathering fragments, but also for refining techniques.

And even... for testing true compatibility.

He smiled again.

*Interesting.*

——

*Huh? She changed styles?*

The tempo had shifted.

No longer was she attacking first.

Now he was the aggressor, and she was countering. Smartly. Sharply.

Suddenly—

*Thwack!*

Her palm landed.

He stumbled back.

His eyes narrowed.

"This NPC evolves... really fast."

Even more fun.

He adjusted. Changed rhythm. Matched her counters.

It didn't take long.

One by one, he broke down her movements. Picked apart her mimicry of her father's techniques.

Eventually—

Hinata froze.

She stood, trembling, soaked in sweat. Byakugan fading.

Her fists fell to her sides.

Her breathing was ragged.

She just stood there, staring at him. Those pale eyes reflecting his figure as he stepped closer.

And then—

He reached out.

Pulled open her outer robe.

Slid off the tight mesh fabric underneath.
