Chapter 1 - Awakening

Awakening

The cracked battlefield lay silent, the only sound carried by the howling wind. Burnt banners fluttered. Ash drifted like snow. The scent of blood clung to the air.

At the heart of the ruined land stood a lone figure — Zafer.

His tank top was torn and bloodstained, his brown hair tied back. His red eyes, both blazing with quiet fury, stared through the dust. Two scars ran down his left eye, and the star tattoo on his shoulder pulsed like a symbol of his haunted past.

[Zafer]: "What have I done to deserve this? Why am I always struggling? There's no joy. No happiness. Just emptiness... Why is it always darkness in my life?"

Zafer stood alone — still, broken — his gaze fixed on the dead body of a white-haired boy lying near him. Blood pooled around the boy's remains, soaking into the dust.

Zafer didn't flinch. He didn't cry. He just stood there wondering that

Why am I still alive? What am I living for? Everyone has meaning. Everyone has a motive. So why don't I?

From all directions, four alien armies advanced.

Each force approached from a different direction, slowly surrounding him like predators. Their armor gleamed in crimson, violet, green, and black. Their ranks were sharp, disciplined — and endless. Though the distance was at least 700 meters, the crushing pressure in the air made it feel as if they were already upon him.

A buzzing speaker drone hovered above the red-armored army.

A distorted, cruel voice barked from it:

MAGI (via speaker): "You damn dog... Today, you will meet your end!"

The voice belonged to the Commander Magi. An alien

Before Magi's words could settle, another voice cut in .

This time, it came from the black-armored army. Their commander wore a full-body metal suit. His glowing blue eyes shined behind a sleek mask.

ZODI (Black Commander): "Don't be like that, Magi. Look how cute he is. Just a cute puppy waiting to be put down."

Laughter erupted from the soldiers behind him.

Zafer didn't move. He didn't even blink.

Inside, he felt hollow. Outside, he looked like a walking corpse. eyes heavy with grief, jaw clenched, heart numb.

Then, the battlefield stirred again.

From within the alien ranks, a young human man stepped forward. He walked with measured fury, a katana at his side. His eyes burned with hatred.

JHON: "You damn traitor. You lied to us. I'll kill you with my own hands, Zafer!"

Zafer's eyes widened. That name, that face, triggered something deep inside.

Flashback — Zafer, Age 15

Blood soaked his hands.

His mother lay dying in his arms, whispering her final words.

Mother: "Promise me... you'll live. You'll fight back. You'll make them pay for what they did... to us."

She smiled faintly… and then closed her eyes.

Zafer screamed that day. Screamed until his voice shattered. He buried her himself. No one came. No one cared.

Present

That promise — once buried in pain — ignited a spark in his chest.

Rage surged from beneath the grief. And with it... something ancient awakened.

Zafer's eyes turned cold. He raised one hand toward the sky.

A tremor rippled across the battlefield.

A streak of blue lightning carved through the clouds like a comet.

His weapon — a iron rod — flew toward him like Thor's hammer. With a loud CLANG, he caught it in one hand.

He slammed it into the ground.

The earth shattered in a massive shockwave — like a meteor had struck.

Jhon charged, katana gleaming. Eyes wild with fury.

Zafer ran towards him — both weapons drawn, rage burning behind their eyes.

And just as the two were about to collide —

Everything went black.

One Hour Earlier — Magi's Command Tent

A soldier burst through the entrance, breathless.

SOLDIER: "Commander! We found him — the target!

Magi turned slowly.

MAGI: "Then we kill him now before he truly awakens.

Five Hours Later — Battlefield Aftermath

Every soldier lay motionless — unconscious or dead. The once-roaring battlefield was now a graveyard of silence.

Zafer was still breathing — but barely.

His body was battered. His right leg twisted and bleeding. He could hardly stand. Each step was a struggle. Blood soaked his clothes. His vision blurred as he was crawling forward.

Suddenly, seven cloaked figures emerged from the smoke. All wore black robes. A single sinister symbol gleamed on their chests — the Joker emblem.

Zafer tried to raise his weapon — but before he could react, one of them stepped forward and struck him across the face.

He fell unconscious instantly.

The Leader of the Jokers stood over him, speaking softly:

LEADER: "This universe never deserved a soul as pure as yours."

He turned to his comrades.

LEADER: "Take him. Treat his wounds. Quickly."

At that very moment, Magi and Zodi stepped onto the battlefield, surveying the carnage.

MAGI: "Leave him — and you might be spared."

But the Joker Leader didn't flinch.

He glanced at his team.

LEADER: "Get Zafer out of here. Heal him. I'll deal with the commanders."

Then he faced them directly — his voice turning sharp and final:

LEADER : "Both of you will die today."

Just as Magi and Zodi prepared to attack, the ground trembled.

From the corner of the battlefield, new figures emerged — commanders from the remaining armies.

Their presence was overwhelming.

HEAD JOKER: "Well, well... would you look at that? Four of the Eight have joined forces. Is it for glory... or for him? OhZafer, your living nightmare."

MAGI : "It's none of your damn business." He raised his weapon. "Let's end this — today."

The four commanders braced for combat.

But suddenly, a roar tore through the battlefield.

From beneath a 100 of corpses, Jhon rose — furious and transformed.

His scream split the air, forcing even commanders and Head Joker to cover their ears.

His body began to shift — his skin darkened like a void. His eyes glowed white — unnatural and divine.

LEADER OF JOKER(staggering back, shocked): "What... the hell is that?! That shouldn't be possible!"

ZODI : "Now that's interesting. Hahaha..."

MAGI : "There can't be two... Two Awakened Ones? Impossible!"

As Jhon's transformation slowed, he turned and saw the lifeless body of the white-haired boy nearby, a hole torn through his chest.

He approached, his voice low and broken.

JHON: "I'm sorry, Vasco. I failed to protect you. But I swear I'll avenge you."

He lifted Vasco's body gently, holding it like a fallen brother.

ZODI : "This bastard… he's fully Awakened. Unlike like Zafer. And he's still in control?"

JHON: "I'm heading back to camp, Magi."

MAGI: "We'll be right behind you — after we deal with this idiot."

But when he turned, the Joker Leader was gone vanished into the smoke.

MAGI : "Tch... ran away like a coward. I swear, I'll kill them all."
