Synopsis
Everything in existence sings, the whisper of wind, the pulse of steel, the hum of the unseen. Reborn into a world of cultivation, Cai Feiyin awakens with a gift unlike any other, the ability to perceive the oscillations of all things. To him, the world is a song waiting to be understood, shaped, and mastered. But in a realm where power is forged through blood and will, those who hear too much may uncover truths never meant to be known. And some songs, once played, can never be silenced. *** I plan to write this story to completion, and based on what I have in mind, it will span at least 1,000 chapters. The first 20 to 30 chapters will be a bit slower-paced (more of a slice-of-life) to establish the foundation of his childhood, but once the story picks up, it won’t be slowing down. What to expect: A grand, dark immersive cultivation world with a mix of both eastern and western influence, that is gradually unfolded as the story progress (with eventual mythologies involved) A calm, intelligent protagonist with the ability to perceive the oscillations around him A unique cultivation system with my personal blend of Xianxia and eastern/western fantasy A weak to strong, to strongest MC (OP) Alchemist MC (with clear progression, involving both pills and artefacts, eventually leading to Runes) Fully fleshed-out characters, with their own life and dreams Eventual kingdom-building

Chapter 1 - Author Note

Hey guys, here is another story I'm currently writing, which I started on other platforms first (RR and SH), and decided to also share it on Webnovel. (currently at chapter 159, which I'm going to bring over the next few days)

It is not a fanfiction, but an original work. I'm posting it in this section mostly since I don't want to make it premium and only to share it with a bigger audience.

Now for the story itself, it start at a slower pace, with the foundation of his childhood taking the first 20 or so chapters, then the story picks up from there and thing take a dark turn, since we will be exposed to the harsher realities of a cultivation world.

Thought the story does have it's grimdark part, it is not the only tag, since there will also a lot of growth and eventual hope in the darkness, as one of my reader on RR described in his review:

"but as someone who hates grimdark anything, it wasn't so bad it made want to drop the story. I also wouldn't go so far as to say the story is dark so far. While some hard things have happened, the overall feel for me is not one of it being dark, but one of hope for the MC."

And with this, I wish you a happy reading!
