Every day, the routine is the same: wake up, work, eat, go home, sleep, wake up, work, eat, go home, sleep. Day in and day out, I follow that routine because it's the standard, what people are expected to do. I know thier are those who are the expection who live how they please, thier are also other that would kill to be in my postion but at the end of the day i don't care I havn't cared for a while all I wish is to live and indulgent life, Sure it the greedy of me yes, but you would do the same if you were me.
"So tell me, young lad, what would you do to get out of this routine?" Spoke the all white figure before me
I had been in absolute shock when I first saw him. I had been walking back to my car after work when, suddenly, everything around me went deathly quiet. It wasn't just that everything and everyone around me had stopped moving, frozen in time.
"W-who are you? What's happening?" I asked, partly confused but mostly surprised, maybe a little nervous
"My name doesn't matter; all that matters is your dream. Your dream to live a self-indulgent life to do as you please," the figure continued
"I would do anything, really," I found myself replying before realizing.
"Good, I am willing to grant you this wish alongside a few other gifts, but in return, I want you to provide me with an entertaining show," the figure said
"What do you mean, a show?" I asked
"Simple, I will send you to a world of fiction with abilities to help you survive and live your self-indulgent life. In return, you must earn your self-indulgent life and complete challenges I will give you," the figure explained.
"...Before I agree, why?"
"I'm bored. Thousands of years of being a celestial, and you would want some entertainment too," the figure sighed in reply.
"I see, so I get my wish, and all I have to do is give you a good show to watch...Sure, let's do it," I replied excitedly.
"Great lad, let's get started. First, I will give you two abilities, any abilities that don't make you a god instantly," the figure said, holding up two fingers.
"Any two abilities...Alright, first, the ability to create and control technology, second, the ability to change and control biology." I replied after a moment of thought
"Simple enough, consider it done, now for where you will be going," the figure said with a snap of his fingers
The next moment, a giant roulette wheel with over two hundred different worlds appeared in front of me.
"Spin the wheel... let's just hope your luck is good," the figure laughed.
Walking up to the wheel, I grabbed it and, with a deep breath, I spun it as fast as I could. As the wheel spun, passing worlds like Warhammer 40K and Dragon Ball Z, I could not help but be nervous about where I would go. Slowly, the wheel came to a stop, and what I read made me grin and shudder at the possible dangers.
"DC, well, I think what could have gone worse, you could have landed in the HP Lovecraft universe," the figure grinned.
"I guess you're right," I sighed in reply.
"Alright, last thing I will allow you to get a single item from any world of fiction,"
"Anything... Anything, okay, give me the devil's chest board from High School DxD but without a limit," I replied
"Hmm, without a limit does not seem fair...how about I give you two sets for one complete chessboard?"
"Okay, I will take that,"
"Alright lad, that's everything...I hope you get to live the life you wanted so bad," the figure said with a snap of his fingers, causing my vision to fade.
"W-wait, what's your name?" I spoke as I felt myself become weaker.
"Call me Alduien...See you soon, Lad," Alduien replied with a small laugh as I blacked out.
{Pov: Third Person}
In the outskirts of Gotham, in an abandoned warehouse, a young man lay on the floor, asleep with his long, dark green hair, pale white skin, and toned body. He would seem like a fallen angel.
Slowly, the young man began to awaken his lime-green eyes, opening them and taking in his new surroundings.
"Agh...my head...What happened?" Judas asked himself as he slowly sat up and looked around
[Transfer has been successful]
[Scanning surroundings: No danger found]
"Transfer...wait, was that real?" Judas spoke in surprise, remembering his talk with Alduien
Standing up, Judas looked at the abandoned werahouse he found himself in.
"Well, this definitely isn't the parking lot of my lab, so..."
"Anyway, what was that voice earlier?"
[That was I, host the Dual System] the voice rang out again in his head
"A system? I don't remember asking for a system," Judas replied
[Yes, Lord Alduien blessed you with the system to help you progress so you don't die easily. I am only here to give you a tour of the system]
"I see well, then can you give me a run down?" Judas replied
{The system has multiple functions: Status / Inventory/ Store/ Summoning/ Kin/ Territory/ Dungeon}
{Status: Projects the host's physical and magical abilities in a numerical value}
{Inventory: An infinite space that the host can store anything within}
{Store: Using the System currency, the host can purchase anything across all points of fiction}
{Summoning: Allows the host to summon people, animals, and items from the multiverse using system points}
{Kin: Allows the host to manage all Kin members, like tracking their health, location, and empowering them}
{Territory: Claiming a territory will allow the host to manage it and improve it by meeting requirements}
{Dungeons: The ability to create dungeons that only you can enter to get stronger}
