R Devil was no ordinary cultivator.

Swentia
A boy was walking along a quiet street in the city of Swentia. The afternoon sun shone gently over the cobbled roads as people moved about their daily routines.
As he walked, his eyes fell upon an old woman — around fifty-eight years old — struggling to carry two heavy bags.
Without hesitation, the boy rushed toward her.
"May I help you"
The woman respectfully declined.
But the boy insisted on carrying the bags.
As the boy insisted too much, the old woman agreed to take his help.
He carried the bags all the way to her house. After placing them down, the boy said,
"I should leave now"
The woman stopped him and said,
"I think I know you young boy but I am unable to recall your name"
Then the woman said,
"You boy please forgive me for that"
The boy smiled lightly and replied,
"No worries you don't need to apologise for this little thing"
He then asked her for the time.
The woman replied that,
"It is 12:15"
The boy suddenly stiffened.
"I am sorry but I have to go now"
And he ran.
Behind him, the woman suddenly called out,
"Wait I remember your name, You are kai xi right"?
But it was too late.
Kai xi had already left.
__Scene shift
Kai xi was running toward the city pass.
His breathing grew heavier as he sprinted forward.
He crossed the city pass and exited Swentia without slowing down. He ran straight ahead until, after some time, the massive palace of Giant Lord came into view.
Just as he was about to enter the palace gates, the guards stopped him.
They informed him that Master Danzo had ordered them to stop Kai xi.
Kai xi frowned slightly.
"Why master Danzo ordered to stop me before the palace entrance"?
The guards replied that Kai xi was late, therefore he was asked to wait outside.
They gestured toward a bench located outside of the palace.
Kai xi sat down.
And as he sat there, his thoughts drifted back — to the beginning.
To the time when he first came to Swentia.
Pov–Kai xi
It all began after my journey from hell to heaven.
After I finished my journey, my father came to see me.
He said,
"Well done Kai xi, you have achieved something that no one can achieve in this era, you are the true genius of this era.
But this is not the end right?"
I replied,
"This is not what I wanted."
My father narrowed his eyes slightly.
"hmm,now what? You want a title of 'man of eons'?"
I shook my head.
"No! I want something which is even above the superior of supremes."
My father looked at me silently for a moment before saying,
"I understand what you intend.
So then you should find Typical mystery."
I asked what it was.
But he only said,
"Enough Kai xi, you have lost everything on your journey now I and your masters think you should rest for a while."
That very night, our palace was attacked.
Strangers stormed in and destroyed everything.
I, Kai xi, was only 10 years old at that time.
After our palace was destroyed, my father took me and came to Swentia. My father was a wealthy man. They built another palace for us to live in Swentia.
We lived there for three years.
Then they left Swentia.
But Old Master Danzo stayed.
He took care of me.
In Swentia, there was a custom.
After attaining the age of fifteen, one had the chance to activate his hidden prowess called 'Living Disaster'.
Master Danzo explained to me that this world — the Gigantic Whale Continent — functions differently.
This world is blessed by the True Whale God.
Here, a person masters a skill — any skill — to grow stronger.
If someone practices wood cutting repeatedly and masters it, then according to the blessing of this world, that person's chopping ability would grow stronger and could become further strong.
Power here is measured by blessings.
If a golden light descends upon a person once, he would be considered a first level master — White level.
If golden light descends again, he would become second level master — Law master.
And so on.

The strongest person in Swentia is an Earthly Gold level chef.
I often wondered how a six blessing person could live in a place like Swentia.
Even Master Danzo only had one blessing — which he achieved by mastering martial arts.
He once told me,
"Anyone can awake his living disaster prowess because all of us have it sealed within us. Our prowess are different and unique from each other."
I argued,
"why I cannot go for blessings like you? I want to unlock blessings instead of those stupid prowess."
Master Danzo sighed.
"Blessings are hard to obtain,Not everyone can obtain it with ease. It took 30 years for me to attain a blessing."
I clenched my fists.
"I don't care how long it took you to achieve white level. I will be the strongest."
Master Danzo looked at me carefully.
"Why you want to become strong kid?"
I hesitated.
"I don't know the reason behind this I feel that becoming the strongest is within me and my blood because as you remember--
While leaving Swentia my father said that my memory have been sealed. When my father will return he will unlock my memories but I can't wait now, It's been two years since he left the city."
Master Danzo remained silent for a moment.
"Fine kid , you want to become strong for a reason that you don't know, so let me give you an idea or you can think it as a new reason to become strong."
He continued,
"It is a story kid."---
Long ago, there was a person in Earthly Metal stage.
He won many battles.
But one day, destiny arranged a fight he could not avoid.
His opponent was the undead king — already in Heaven level.
Although the undead king was overwhelmingly strong, the warrior defeated him while still in Earthly Metal stage.
But victory came at a terrible cost.
He received enormous curses and restrictions.
Many of his powerful skills were sealed.
He began to live in despair.
Full of suffering.
Full of disparity.
At his lowest point, he encountered a fairy.
The fairy told him that he could become free from his curses once he reached beyond the heavenly emperor's control.
So he began again.
He fought and won many battles despite his curses.
Soon, he reached Heavenly King stage.

He defeated one of the four Heavenly Emperors while still in Heaven King stage.
