Chapter 1 - 1.KINGDOM'S FALL

The cold wind swept through the mountains.

Two figures stood on a rocky outcrop, far from the bustle of their kingdom below.

They had spent the day deep in research, their work consuming the hours as the sun dipped below the horizon.

Now, night had fallen.

A small campfire flickered atop the hill, casting warm, dancing shadows on their faces.

Below them, the kingdom stretched out like a dream—silent, glowing under the stars.

"Hey, look at our kingdom," said Ruck, his voice tinged with awe as he gestured to the view.

"It's so beautiful at night, isn't it?"

Torian gave a nonchalant hum.

"Mmhmm," he mumbled lazily, barely lifting his head.

"Haaa... Hey, come on, bro! Just look at this view. Hello? Are you even listening?" Ruck pouted.

Torian shifted slightly, his gaze sharpening as he sat upright.

"Wait. Quiet. Do you hear that?" he said suddenly, his voice serious.

"What?" Ruck asked, falling silent.

Then—he heard it.

A faint sound, almost swallowed by the wind.

A soft, desperate wail.

A baby crying.

The two turned sharply toward their camp.

There, by the fire, lay a small bundle wrapped in clothes

"What the—?" Ruck muttered, his heart skipping a beat.

"Where did that baby come from? What's going on...?"

Torian narrowed his eyes. Magical waves shimmered faintly around the baby.

"Someone teleported it here," he muttered, glancing into the shadows.

"I think someone's in trouble. Ruck, hurry! We need to se—

Suddenly, the night was torn apart by a blinding flash of light.

A deafening explosion followed—

A roar so loud it shook the mountains to their core.

The two shielded their eyes as a wave of heat and force swept over them.

"RUCK! Fast ..RUCK??!" Torian yelled.

"All right!!" Ruck shouted, forming a shaky barrier spell.Torian stared in shock.

"That spell…? But how—?"There was no time.

The shockwave hit.The barrier shattered.

Everything went white.By some miracle, they survived.

Wounded and dazed, they shielded the baby between them. When they looked again, their breath caught in their throats.

Their entire kingdom—

was gone.

*"And in the ashes of a fallen kingdom... destiny begins."*
