Synopsis
An original story in the world of Hunter x Hunter. Togiri, a loser becoming famous for his harsh Reviews of novels, tv shows, movies and all other kinds of entertainment becomes famous. One day he is noticed by a group of transcendental beings. These higher beings have allowed Togiri's deepest wishes to come true: transmigration, reincarnation — ISEKAI. But there was a catch. He needed to train and fight them after his death in his chosen world. Everytime he lost, Togiri's memories were wiped away and this process was repeated, until his entertainment value wasn't worth anything anymore. In this life cycle he was granted the authority to create his own cheat system that would allow him to grow stronger. Togiri was happy to start his new easy life where he enjoy the benefits of being overpowered and not work hard, but to his naivety the gods controlling his fate for eons weren't so simple. As a 'little' motivation, billions of memories entered his brain of the life's when he slacked and didn't train. His friends dying at his feet, his wife's from different lifes dying in his arms and his children being torn limb from limb and screaming in anguish as the light extinguished in their eyes. Once arrived in the world Togiri's heart almost exploded from anger and grief and he punched the ground ceasingly until his bone could be seen. The system sealed 99% of its capabilities to only seal ⅔ of Togiri's painful memories away. Constantly wearing a mask to deceive others and the only moment he puts it down is when he as his alter Ego, the Blue Demon is tearing through flesh and killing thousands. Some may think this is a light hearted novel with an op mc story — no it isn't. First system that is every changing and can 3 options to choose from. The Hero option, Villian option or Legend option. The mc will train and visit multiple worlds, but I don't want to make the novel too fast paced especially the first volume he spends in the Hunter x Hunter World. it's the foundation. I will try to keep it under 400 chapters

"Ughhh... I am bored. Why isn't there any good story left?"

"Novels, manga, manhua, manhwa, TV shows, movies, videos, stories, tales, mythologies... there is nothing left."

The hole in my heart only grows bigger.

I became exactly what the government wants its citizens to be—an endless consumer.

A slave working at the bottom of the mountain while the higher-ups exploit and profit from my depressing existence, but what else should I enjoy in life?

Everyone needs a vice or some way to vent.

For some, it's relationships, filling the hole in your heart and brightening your dimming soul.

Love? Food? Traveling the world? Pride? Money? These are all fleeting, and so is searching and consuming something great like I do...

But for me, the feeling when reading a masterpiece... That. Is. Worth fighting for... at least in my eyes.

The feeling ignites you within and sets your heart ablaze. These emotions were closing the hole in my heart and filling the emptiness in me.

This satisfaction of a full soul is the reason why I am not dead.

It is probably better than sex, not that I know. I have neither had a girlfriend, kissed, nor held hands with one.

At 20 years old, I'm still a virgin. I'm waiting for the woman who manages to keep my attention for more than 2 minutes because why would I dream of sex when prostitution has existed for centuries? What I want is something special that even most protagonist of stories don't have.

It's not like these delusions of mine would ever happen since I barely go outside anymore.

I would love to meet an insane redhead who would always keep me entertained. Yes, looking for a crazy woman with red hair who is also looking for a loser like me is one of my delusions, but I have other problems besides being a loser.

To count a few:

1. Ah~ This bad habit of talking to myself.

2. I am constantly doubting the reason for my existence and purpose in life. Like I said, if not for that special feeling of consuming an amazing story I would be dead.

3. I am too arrogant.

4. I'm too kind and a pacifist. The word pacifist is just an elegant way to say I'm a coward.

People always say that these TV shows, novels, manga, or anime are too much for even a lifetime to read and watch, but I already did that before turning 21.

Even as a kid I consumed stories like no one else, but as I grew older and faced the cruelty of life it only became worse.

I read and watched anything remotely nearing a masterpiece or a first-rate story. On my way to finding these masterpieces, I found out how to discern the grade of stories.

As I was alone I started to express myself through the internet on various websites.

I became famous and cruel in various communities for my reviews. After a while, people started calling me the "Reviewer," and I gladly took that nickname and title.

Soon after my small fame spread to other platforms, I started to be feared.

In some unexplainable way I became famous. From superstars to new novel authors, everybody got to know my name, which was exhilarating at first.

I also soon started to get paid just for my reviews. Since I was rewarded with money and attention while being lazy and honestly expressing my emotions about the story itself, and everything else surrounding it and my perspective on how life worked I loved my job.

Even though I never revealed my appearance, voice, or even phone number, I gained a substantial amount of hardcore fans and haters.

The government tried to bury my internet comments, but enough fans reposted my statements.

After I got drunk on my little power and pissing off so many people, including governments, I was forced to stay at home, not that I disliked it.

After a while, I completely stopped going outside and even started ordering all my groceries.

By the way, all my perspectives on life come from all kinds of various stories. Back to the present...

*burp* "Fuck! It's so~ boring. Isn't there anything else? I read and watched the best of the best dozens of times."

*Ding*

"...what the...?" I looked at my phone, and there was a black screen with a white message on it. I always had my phone on silent mode since nothing except apps contacted me anyway.

"Target confirmed... Name: ■Reviewer■," said a robotic voice coming from my phone.

Sleep-deprived, I thought out loud, "Is it happening? Am I finally getting transported to another world with magic? Will I get a cheat system or need to fulfill missions?

Three wishes? Tutorial? Immortal cultivation? Parallel world? I am so excited like I haven't been in a long time. I'm ready to be overpowered and slap some trashes."

For the first time, my instincts and delusions were correct. From one moment to another, I was in a completely white void, floating.

It felt as if I was in the ocean, drifting in warm water. There was absolutely nothing, but suddenly something, or rather somebody, appeared.

It was an old man as gigantic as a mountain, sitting on a throne made out of black, semi-translucent material that looked like our drawer interpretation what galaxies looked like.

My eyes almost fell out because of how surprised I was. After a daze full of concentration, I snapped out of it.

I could see pores, and his skin was akin to a mountain range. I tried swimming away in this weird void to get a good picture of the old man from father away, but I couldn't move.

After floating and twisting my body up and down, I was sure of one thing. This mountain of a man wasn't alive.

He didn't move, breathe, or have light or movement in his eyes. He looked like the accurate depiction of Zeus from Greek mythology.

The Greek god I disliked most, like many others, for his shitty behavior and actions toward other gods and mortals.

He was a slightly tanned man with a long white beard and long hair, and he was wearing a toga like the ancient Greeks wore.

If I didn't focus on him and his body proportions, like his fingernails that were ten times bigger than any building I ever saw, I would have gone insane from the complete lack of anything in this white, water-like void.

"We had fun in the last run, but we all think that you are becoming stale and boring," said the big entity with a deep male voice that shook the space a bit and made me shiver to the core of my soul.

His eyes lowered, looking at me. My whole body froze as if I was about to get erased from existence.

His gaze was somehow looking at me and somehow not, like I'm a lesser being than an ant in his eyes.

I was hesitant to speak but was still happy and excited about the possibility of getting transported to another world.

I started speaking, "Are you God or some Supreme Being? Am I the chosen protagonist or hero to save the world?"

The giant chuckled and looked even more menacing, as if he was about to erase my existence. His gaze made my blood run cold.

I felt it. My desires, ambition, and will to live were vanishing with every passing moment I was directly looking at this old man.

"Your life is completely worthless, and you are here for MY and others' amusement. You are one of the few truly arrogant beings that have absolute confidence in something," said the giant without moving his lips or opening his mouth.

"Your arrogance is boundless. Your reviews on the planet Earth in the year 2022 in dimension #7777777 made you accumulate enough existence points to be noticed by the servants. Your comments enraged us by constantly insulting ascended beings."

"Existence points? I don't understand." I almost couldn't listen to his words, but it felt like they were forcefully stuffed in me, except for the two words "Existence Points." They left as quickly as they were spoken.

"A worthless being like you managed to achieve such a level of arrogance and confidence that someone started getting interested in you. He convinced us to use you for our entertainment.

I took your worthless life and placed you in worlds of your choosing, and let you become stronger.

Your fantasies and desires were fulfilled by your own hands, but the entertainment value you provided lessened after each reincarnation cycle.

After your death in each world, you fought one of us, died, and were revived. This cycle repeated many times.

Your delusions have been entertaining us for eons, but after so many times, it has become boring and stale.

We decided to make it more interesting, and we will allow you to keep your memories and strength after each world through a system you always asked for."

I couldn't think clearly. My heart was beating so loud that my ears felt like they were vibrating.

I didn't completely understand everything the giant before me said, because I was dumbfounded at my situation, but I understood the trope of "I will kill the gods who brought me to this world" type of thing... but why should I?

I don't want to live on Earth anymore. The debts I still haven't repaid... will be repaid in the next life.

"I have to tell the same story every time; if humans got free will, then why do you always repeat the same words?"

"...."

"Wait. How many times have I fought against you higher beings?"

"Not enough. Hehe," the supreme being laughed while moving for the first time to stroke his beard.

"...."

I shuddered. This all feels so unreal, like I am dreaming. How am I supposed to fight this guy when I have already lost so often before?

Maybe this time it's gonna be different... Fuck it, I will just spend my days training a little, enjoying my cheats, and living in the new world. Sounds good to me.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" For the first time, the supreme being moved his mouth while speaking. His deep voice shook and almost crumbled the white void.

"YOU TRIED IT! HERE ARE SOME MEMORIES FOR YOU!!"

Memories started pouring in. At first, a few hundred images flashed before my eyes simultaneously like videos, then millions of memories entered my brain, tearing my mind apart.

It felt like my head was being split apart a thousand times over. Hot needles ran through my brain, and every corner was stung by a thousand wasps. Fingernails scratched every inch bloodily.

All these words still couldn't explain the pain I suffered when I saw and felt myself, my wives, children, parents, and loved ones being brutally killed and suffering gruesome deaths.

A few seconds felt like an eternity.

My limbs were ripped off, companions killed, and different wives and different children in different lives were murdered in every brutal way possible.

Seeing, feeling, and experiencing the emotions of my other selves at their worst moments completely overwhelmed me to the point where I wished for death in an instant.

All the memories I received were moments of either my or my loved ones' deaths, but just because I didn't receive the full memories of my countless lives didn't make the pain of losing them any less unbearable.

Just before my mind completely broke and I felt I was reaching death's door, I was engulfed in white light. I was healed.

An indescribable feeling restored my mind, body, and soul. I regained my reason and sanity.

After some time, I managed to calm down, breathe, and think again.

Suddenly, a fire ignited within me. A will and desire more intense than anything I had ever felt before.

Rage!

A rage that couldn't be extinguished, even after a thousand years. A feeling that drove me to want to kill even the supreme being before me, despite knowing I was less than an ant to him.

Hate that made me want to slaughter mindlessly for the first time in my life. Other emotions also welled up within me—sadness, grief, loneliness—but they were overshadowed by my burning desire for revenge.

I felt a desire stronger than the pain and other emotions that had previously exploded within me. A desire to kill and kill and kill AND KILL.

I don't care if they used these memories to motivate me; this will be their biggest undoing.

I was never a strong-willed person and had given up on many things in my life, but even if it takes millennia, an eternity, or until the end of time—I will kill them. Kill them all!

"Good, this is something we never saw this early on" said the giant with a light grin on his face.

"Normally, we would need to at least kill your wife and children for this to happen."

"Choose your world!"

"Hunter x Hunter! Heaven's Arena City, five years before Gon leaves the island for the Hunter exam, and make me the same age as him." My body was trembling, tears of rage were flowing, my face was twisted, and my hands were bleeding from my nails digging into my flesh as I made fists.

"I hope this time you will show us all something more interesting than usual."

"…I… will… see you!" A grin, a face more twisted than demons would have, stared at the supreme being, but the mountain of a man only smiled and said something inaudible, which seemed of great importance, but I couldn't hear as if it was filtered for me.

*Ding*

I woke up in an alley. The sun was setting. My clothes were tattered, and I saw little fingers on my small hands.

*Growl~* My stomach was empty, and I was very hungry. I looked around and found a puddle. I saw my previous 5- or 6-year-old self in the small water puddle.

Dark brown hair, brown eyes, an average-looking 6-year-old from the outside. I was visibly malnourished, but this was the start of my journey.

From a Reviewer to a being that will kill all these fuckers.
