In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth. Then He created human beings, and God gave them supernatural gifts known as Faith power. It is a power of belief that transcends reality and common sense that allows one to acquire supernatural powers such as breathing fire, producing electricity, summoning a sword out of nowhere, manipulating inanimate objects, etc.
Faith power itself is not something people are born with, except for the first two human beings. God has made it so that every single human has the capability of awakening their Faith power that suits their Belief. Most people have the freedom to choose what their Faith power is, but that's easier said than done because believing in something like a miracle with no basis or theory to back it up is simply illogical, despite historical records.
Fast forward to the present time, mankind is now in the modern era. People who has Faith powers are called Believers. On the contrary, people who don't have any Faith power are called Non-Believers. The number of Believers in the world has been going up and down throughout history for various reasons. Currently, out of the 8 billion people on the planet, only 30% of them are Believers. With Faith power on their side, people expect human civilization to be more advanced than it actually is. But alongside civilization, Sin has become a common thing in this world, and so have crimes. The number of crimes happening behind everyone's back is outstanding, and thus criminal organizations have grown massively behind the face of society, usually referred to as the Underworld.
To counter this, the One True God has chosen 7 teenagers from all around the world as Judges. These 7 teenagers have suffered greatly and thus have awakened their own strong Faith powers to combat Sins and crime. They are known as the 7 Layers of Judgment, and this is a tale about how they save the entire world from their own wrongdoings.
