Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1 : SURROUNDED

(Self Patience Arc Begins)

Narrator

Three million years ago…

A beginning.

Or perhaps… an end.

Something collapsed—something vast enough to shake the structure of the multiverse itself. Not an explosion. Not destruction.

A collapse.

And drifting through that silent aftermath… was a lone asteroid. Not ordinary. Not lifeless.

It watched.

"Ahh…"

Flauge exhaled slowly, staring into the endless void. "Maybe… I should give Optinix another chance."

A voice responded—calm, distant, almost detached.

"Flauge… stop worrying about Nyloxin. If he finds a perfect vessel, he'll return."

A pause.

Then, softer—

"Until then… find a race. Live among them. Understand them."

"Enjoy it… if you can."

Silence.

The presence vanished.

Flauge stood still for a long moment.

Then—he smiled.

"Fine."

He raised his hand.

"Generation Law… Act 10."

The void trembled.

This was no ordinary technique.

Generation Law Act 10—a forbidden creation art, wielded only by beings like Altranix, the architects of existence itself.

To create life… from nothing.

The cost?

Twenty years of existence.

Not time.

Existence.

And Flauge didn't hesitate.

Narrator

Thirty million years passed.

Nothing changed.

No sign. No result.

Just silence stretching across eternity…

Until—

Date: 115 / 45 / 7000

Something shifted.

Something small.

Something… human.

And that was enough to change the history of Universe E-11.

"Congratulations, Mr. Lor… it's a baby boy."

The doctor smiled warmly.

"And you too, Mrs. Reanie."

A quiet cry filled the room.

A new life had begun.

No one noticed the faint distortion in the air.

Years later…

A classroom.

Noise. Laughter. Routine.

And one boy—lost in his own world.

In his mind—

Fire. Chaos. A bus moments from explosion.

People screaming.

And him—

Ayelen.

Calm. Focused.

Saving them. One by one.

Twenty lives.

A hero.

"AYELEN!"

The voice snapped reality back into place.

The classroom returned.

His teacher stood in front of him, clearly irritated.

"What is wrong with you? Your grades are dropping every week. You keep drifting off like this—"

A pause.

"Start living in the real world for once."

The class erupted into laughter.

"Yeah, hero boy's dreaming again!"

"What a loser…"

Ayelen didn't respond.

He just looked down.

"Sir… may I come in?"

The door opened.

Everything went quiet.

Arnold stepped in.

Confident. Composed.

Different.

"Come in," the teacher said.

Arnold nodded and walked straight to the empty seat beside Ayelen. He sat down casually—then glanced at him.

There were tears.

He didn't say anything.

Lunch Break

"Hey, Ayelen," Lime said, sliding into the seat across from him. "Wanna share food?"

Ayelen shook his head. "No… thanks."

Arnold leaned back slightly, smirking.

"You know he doesn't eat just anything, right?"

Ayelen's eyes snapped toward him.

"Arnold—don't."

Too late.

"He only eats food made by his mom or his sister."

Lime blinked.

Then smiled.

"Wait… seriously? That's actually kinda sweet."

Ayelen stiffened.

"Don't call it that."

Lime laughed lightly. "Relax, I didn't mean it like that."

"I said I don't want to eat."

His tone dropped.

The air shifted.

Lime raised both hands. "Okay, okay… I'm sorry."

"It's fine," Ayelen muttered. "Just… leave it."

Arnold watched him carefully.

Then said quietly—

"If you skip meals again… I'll tell your mom."

Ayelen stood up immediately.

"Just shut up."

He grabbed his bag and walked off.

His mind wasn't there.

It hadn't been for a long time.

And because of that—

He didn't notice.

Thud.

Food spilled.

Right onto someone's uniform.

A slow turn.

Rim.

"...You blind or something?"

Ayelen froze.

"I—I'm sorry. I wasn't looking. I'll clean it—"

"Clean it?"

Rim stepped closer.

"Yeah. You will."

He grabbed Ayelen's shirt.

"Use this."

Ayelen's hands trembled slightly.

"I said I'm sorry—"

That's when it came.

Fast.

Sharp.

A punch straight to his face.

And just like that—

Everything went silent.
