In the distance, Scorpion, Doctor Octopus (Lady Ock), and Tombstone stood completely frozen, their minds completely failing to process what had just happened.
Wasn't the White Demon's mutant power supposed to be temporarily suppressed?! Why did he recover in less than a few minutes, let alone an hour?!
Tombstone, a mutant whose entire identity and combat style revolved around his invulnerable, bulletproof skin, began to tremble uncontrollably. He stared at the massive, fan-shaped crater of absolute destruction, the completely pulverized, microscopic remains of the Prowler, and finally down at his own body... where his right arm had vanished, erased merely by the shockwave of the attack.
"AHHHH!"
The delayed agony finally hit him, and Tombstone unleashed a bloodcurdling scream. A geyser of blood erupted from his severed shoulder. His historically indestructible physical vessel offered him absolutely zero sense of security now!
Operating purely on primal survival instinct, he tried to run. But the moment he took a step, he realized one of his legs had been completely atomized as well. Instantly losing his balance, he violently face-planted onto the concrete.
Doctor Octopus and Scorpion, who had been standing further back, had only suffered minor lacerations from the supersonic shrapnel. Yet, they looked as if they had sustained critical damage. They didn't dare to move a single muscle, staring blankly at Tombstone, who had been brutally crippled just by the aftermath of the blast.
As fellow elite supervillains serving Kingpin, even if they despised each other, they fully acknowledged Tombstone's raw power. His invulnerable skin and extreme thermal output made him a terrifying brawler. Even they couldn't easily put him down!
But now? Crippled just by the shockwave? Where was his mutant power? Where was the indestructible body he was so damn proud of?!
Being intelligent, veteran criminals, they instantly calculated the reality of their situation. Against the absolute, god-like spatial power of the White Demon, they were nothing but insects!
Run! Run now! If we don't run immediately, we're dead!
But the very second Lady Ock and Scorpion turned to flee, their bodies stiffened in sheer terror, entirely paralyzed...
Gwen watched the apocalyptic scene unfold. Even though she had read the Daily Bugle's sensational reports, witnessing this transcendental, god-like power firsthand was entirely different.
Is this the White Demon's true strength? What exactly has he experienced lately, and how is he growing at such a terrifying, incomprehensible rate?
Just as she was about to ask him, the White Demon casually materialized right in front of her. He gently placed a hand on top of her head, his deeply magnetic, charismatic voice echoing in her ears.
"Thank you, Little Spider. I'll take it from here."
With that, Gwen watched the White Demon take a single step and vanish into thin air. He instantly reappeared directly in front of the fleeing Scorpion and Doctor Octopus, flashing them a brilliant, blinding smile.
"Now, now, my friends. You haven't even received my return gift. Why are you in such a hurry to leave?"
Before his words even finished echoing, Su Mu extended his palm toward Scorpion. A terrifying gravitational pull erupted from his hand, forcefully yanking Scorpion back.
Scorpion's face twisted in absolute despair, which quickly hardened into suicidal resolve. He triggered his razor-sharp mechanical pincers and his lethal, venom-tipped tail, launching a desperate, all-out strike at the White Demon!
Even if he was destined to die, he was going to make the demon pay! The White Demon had just recovered; maybe his control over his powers wasn't perfect yet! This was his only chance! His tail and pincers were laced with lethal neurotoxin—if he landed even a single scratch, he might survive!
But instead, Scorpion only saw a flash of brilliant azure light. The next thing he knew, the White Demon was casually holding a massive, highly familiar mechanical tail, thrusting it violently toward his own head!
Scorpion glanced down in shock. His lethal tail and all six of his heavy mechanical limbs had been effortlessly ripped from his exoskeleton! They were scattered around the rooftop, violently embedded into the concrete.
And the largest weapon—his primary stinger—was now gripped firmly in the White Demon's hand, its gleaming tip aimed dead center at his skull. Before he could even utter a single curse, the stinger violently pierced his brain. A geyser of blood erupted, freezing perfectly in mid-air exactly ten centimeters away from Su Mu's pristine clothes!
After casually executing Scorpion, Su Mu turned his gaze toward Doctor Octopus. In the few seconds it took to dismantle the exoskeleton, she had managed to flee several hundred meters away.
At that distance, even an elite sniper would struggle to land a hit. But for the supreme, atomic-level calculations of the Six Eyes, it was child's play.
Su Mu flicked a simple metal coin into the air, catching it with his index finger.
Violent black-red lightning—the repulsive force of Cursed Technique Reversal: Red—erupted from his fingertip, accelerating the coin to several times the speed of sound!
Before the coin could even melt from the extreme atmospheric friction, it instantly struck Doctor Octopus squarely in the back! The massive kinetic force, accompanied by a deafening sonic boom, violently bisected her torso. The coin continued its trajectory for another hundred meters before completely melting away into the atmosphere!
Su Mu took another spatial step, materializing directly above Tombstone, who was pathetically crawling across the ground with his remaining limbs.
As Tombstone shakily looked up, an apocalyptic shadow descended upon him. His consciousness was instantly snuffed out into the void!
After casually crushing Tombstone's invulnerable skull beneath his shoe, Su Mu glanced back at Gwen and flashed her a brilliant smile. He then stepped onto the air, utilizing spatial repulsion to walk dozens of meters high into the sky, casually strolling toward the fleeing armored SUV in the distance!
...
Inside the speeding armored SUV, Wilson Fisk sat with a pitch-black expression.
He had spent billions of dollars acquiring that top-secret mutant inhibitor, and it only managed to suppress the White Demon for a pathetic few minutes! Was the White Demon just that unfathomably powerful? Or had he been scammed?!
Damn it! Damn it all!
Suddenly, he saw a white-haired young man casually standing directly in the path of the speeding armored SUV, offering a radiant, diabolical smile.
The White Demon!
In the next microsecond, the astronomically expensive armored SUV violently collided with the White Demon. It came to a catastrophic, instantaneous dead halt!
Overwhelmed by the sheer kinetic energy of the sudden stop, the entire front half of the SUV violently crumpled like an accordion. The driver barely managed to let out a gasp before he was brutally flattened, his blood spraying thickly across Kingpin's face.
Then came the ear-piercing screech of tearing metal.
SCREECH!
With a casual flex of his arms, the white-haired demon literally tore the reinforced, military-grade armored vehicle perfectly in half! Kingpin was completely exposed to the monster!
Fisk instantly drew his customized heavy-caliber handgun and unloaded the magazine point-blank at the White Demon's head. But the bullets, along with the driver's splattered blood, froze harmlessly in the air, incapable of advancing a single inch!
Seeing this absolute display of invulnerability, Kingpin forced himself into a state of absolute, cold rationality.
"My actions were a mistake," Fisk growled in his deep bass. "I am willing to transfer the entirety of my global assets to you in exchange for my life."
The White Demon didn't say a single word. He simply continued his leisurely approach. Every single footstep felt like it was physically stomping on Fisk's heart, nearly sending him into cardiac arrest!
His composure breaking, Fisk frantically added, "If you kill me, all of those accounts will be instantly frozen! You'll never get a single cent! We are talking about tens of billions of dollars!"
The footsteps didn't stop. They only halted when the demon stood directly in front of him. Fisk saw a pale, slender hand hovering casually before his face. Before he could utter another desperate plea, an apocalyptic spatial pressure erupted from the palm, violently plunging the Emperor of the Underworld into eternal darkness!
An eruption of unrecognizable, pulverized flesh and viscera briefly floated around Su Mu's infinity, before a wave of spatial repulsion violently blasted the gory mess outward, staining the surrounding asphalt a deep crimson.
Su Mu chuckled softly.
"Now, if you had the Obelisk, an Infinity Stone, the Casket of Ancient Winters, Gungnir, the Eternal Flame, or the Eye of Agamotto... I might have kept you alive long enough to torture the locations out of you.
"But mortal currency? Utterly useless to me."
With that, he took another spatial step, vanishing from the bloody scene, and rocketed toward the hovering helicopter in the distance!
